Let me tell you about Grizz and the dog catcher.(Grizz the rottwiler -its short for grizzly bear..he had a huge head as a puppy)
Anyways we first moved to our new house in N.S. (we moved again since so it doesn't matter if I say it)
Anyways the parents were off to work and we were all at school.
Apparently Grizz gets out of our newly fenced in backyard..(how, we never figured out)
He went into the path where we had the mailboxes which made up one of the walls of our yard. And there he stayed. He was about 1 meter away from our backyard..but on public property I guess. Anywho some lady for the second time since we moved there called the dog catcher.
A while later our neighbor Frank comes home from work only to drive by this animal control van in front of our house. He stops and gets out of his car to see Grizz sitting in the middle of the path staring at the dog catcher..who apparently was trying to talk my dog into the van as he was very tentative about using his stick with loop thingy. Seeing as he was only a meter away from home and Grizz was a very smart dog (and he knew Frank obviously) All Frank did was say.
"Come on Grizz" (CoMpLeTlY scaring the crap outta the dog cather BTW)
So Grizz gets up and walks past the DC staring at him the whole time. He walks home and Frank closed the gate and then explained to the poor guy that he would not be taking our dog with him. He was all too happy to leave.
When I got home Frank was telling my Dad how Grizz had this look on him like he was saying..."That'd better be some kinda walking aid pal 'cause I ain't moving."
I suck at telling stories but there it is...

Okk
Well let me tell you the last ones about Grizz
They both have cars.
Okay our neighbor down the road had dogs too..and we'd always see him driving by in this dopey little red car with them ( I should also mention our house was at the top of a hill so when he went by he was going pretty slowly) anyways Dad was out front with the dogs washing the truck..whenup comes the dinky little red car. It gets over the top of the hill and starts to go by when out of NOWHERE Grizz pops up off the grass and HEADBUTTS the space above the rear tire...then as he'd physically stopped the car he proceeded to try and bite the tire...this dog had never ever done anything like this before..and as scary as I made it sound it was actually really funny. He stopped a CAR for Petes sake.I mean we knew he hated tires bbut this was ridiculous. (It was dogless that day too so no worries)
Anywasy #2. Gizmo was in the basement and my brother had his little remote control car whizzing around..we KNEW Grizz didn't like this thing so we were trying to drive it out if his immediate "grab bubble" when my idiot brother drives it into a coffee table and bounces it right in front of the dogs face..the only problem was instead of grabbing it width ways Grizz took the car in his mouth lengthways...where it got..well stuck...(imagine a crocodile with a stick keeping its mouth open...only this was a little toy car with its wheels still spinning....)
Anyways he couldn't spit it out so Dad had to pry his jaws open ...you can tell he wasn't gonn try that again.
Woo hoo I'm storied out now Everyone elses turn.
