User ImageKyrin sat down at the head of the table and noticed Draven’s entrance, she was confused by the fact that he had tried to enter so secretly, but shrugged it off as she waited for everyone else to be seated. She looked at everyone with a smile and brushed dark blonde strands away from her eyes. Placing her elbow on the table and her face against her hand Kyrin began to speak, “As I am sure all of you know, we are going on a mission.” She paused for a moment, trying to figure how best to let them know of the information. Her stomach grumbled softly, and she felt uneasiness in her stomach again. The light in the room was bright. All of this was all distracting to her. She tried to focus on something not pertaining to herself. “And for this mission we are going to Australia,” Kyrin herself had never been there but she heard that it was a pretty nice place to visit. Shifting slightly, she continued. “For this mission, everyone is going to not only have to be in disguise but you will also have to be a different person as well. We cannot go as ourselves in anything but our combat abilities, which we wont show until the proper time. If it is against the persona that you are given you must not do it.” Turning with a meaning full glance to a few people in the room she said, “Ian and Jamie, this means that you will not fight. Draven, you need to keep your emotions. And Bella, you will keep your cool.” She watched their faces but did not wait for a response. “I have decided on two groups, this way we aren’t such a large number and don’t draw immense attention to ourselves. I know that we look young but I have information that says there will be other young business men at this gathering as well. The first group is going to be Craig, myself, Draven, Jamie, Nori, and Fiore. And the second group will be Jaydn, Bella, Tristan, Ian, and Lily.” She thought over the number of people to make sure she had covered everyone before continuing.

“As he is one of the oldest here and has experience in business and the such, Craig will be the business man of the first group. I will act as his wife who is carrying his unborn child, and this is where Nori will come in. Dressed as a female always for this mission, Nori will accompany me everywhere and act as something of a nurse maid. Draven and Jamie will act as our body guards and in the event that Craig and I be split up, or in the event that Craig might have to go into a meeting with the other men, Nori will accompany me and Draven and Jamie will follow along with Craig. Fiore, dressed as a boy, will be an errand runner, if there is anything that Craig might require, Fiore will get it for him. This way Fiore will be permitted everywhere were Craig is and will have the ability to scout everything out and watch for security without being conspicuous.” Kyrin paused, “And as with the first group, the second group will be laid out similarly. Jaydn will act as the business man and Bella will act as his wife, or girlfriend, whichever suit’s the two of you the best,” She said will a look at the two. “Ian and Tristan will act as bodyguards, with Tristan doubling as a translator, if the need arises.” And with that said, Kyrin thought, And that way Jaydn can keep an eye on him. She then continued and said, “And Lily will act as the errand boy for this group.”

“I have already paid for a private jet to take the group of us to Australia.” She thought about the amount of money it had taken, and decided that she needed to find another way to get more of an income. “Since we are going to Australia, we are all going to be needed passports pertaining to the people we are going to be. I want you all to think of names that start with the same letter of your current names to make it easier on your group to call you by your new names. Never during the mission will you refer to any member by their actual name, and rarely will you call Craig or Jaydn by anything other than Sir, or Mr. whatever their last name happens to be. Once we get there we will be staying at a hotel a few miles or so from the mansion of Mr. Largo. We will be staying in two separate suites for the first week that we are there, and in this time we will stay within our groups, getting into character. So from the time that we exit the jet, we no longer know one another. I hope everyone is clear on that. I don’t want anyone jeopardizing this mission.” Shifting again, Kyrin sighed before continuing, “This Mr. Largo is the man that we are set to kill. He is against women having any opinion, so Bella, myself, and Nori, will have to keep our mouths closed as much as possible around him. Not only that but he is a clever man, so try not to do anything out of the ordinary. If you slip out of character in the least, he or his men are likely to notice. Familiarize yourself with your position and new self.” Kyrin realized how hard it was going to be, herself, to stay in character, as she was more often then not too opinionated for her own good. Setting her glance at those assembled, Kyrin next asked, “Does anyone have any questions before I continue?”

Jamie remained quiet, his mind going through names he could easily respond to. He had never really played the part of a bodyguard before, he was usually considered a tad too small to be believable in the part. Couldn't be so bad, though. Just keep my mouth shut and follow orders, thats not too hard. Seemed like nothing he couldn't handle. Long as nothing goes wrong, knowing me I'd just end up going emotional and trying to save people I like first. Not too likely for a bodyguard, eh? Then again, anything does go wrong our disguises are most likely compromised anyways. And besides that, names... Names... Names... Justin, Jared, Jade, Jack... Aw damn. I'm no good at this.He forced himself to pay attention again, figuring that he shouldn't miss anything, it might be vital.

Ian listened intently. It was his first mission with this group so he was determined to do his best. He was secretly glad that he wasn't on Jamie's team but at the same time jealous that Jamie and Nori were together. He mentally shook his head. No! That didn't matter! The mission was more important. That always came first no matter what. Plus he still got to be on Tristan's team so at least it wouldn't be too unpleasant. He was a bit confused about the mention of Bella. He guessed that he hadn't met her yet. But when Kyrin looked at Izzy he vaguely wondered if maybe Izzy had some odd kind of nickname? Besides that though, wasn't she a bit young to be a wife? Ian kept his mouth shut though. Wives could be young....right? ***** weren't uncommon in the mafia anyways.

Closing his eyes, Ian let out a deep breath. This was going to be a bit hard. He was often over emotional toward alot of things. He'd have to keep himself in check. He had a part in a play and he had to play his role perfectly. He felt himself getting a little bit nervous already. He cut his mental thoughts short though. Now wasn't the time to be thinking of ***** and gay man crushes.

Nori blinked. Me? A nursemaid? The idea sounded pretty fun, but he had no idea about pregnant women, so it was going to be time for some reasearch. This also might be a better opportunity to see his housemates in action. As he listened, Nori looked around the room at the names Kyrin listed, and realized that he was going to have a lot of work to do. Getting convincing outfits would be half of it, but Nori also wanted the outfits to be flattering on the wearer, especially if they were going to a fancy party. Although this would usually be a stressful situation, Nori felt proud that he had so much responsibility. He loved a challenge.

The details of the mission had the gears in his brain turning, but he felt a few things were left out. He raised his hand modestly." Um, I have a few Questions... How long do we have before we leave?" Making suitable outfits might take time, even for someone as skilled as himself. He planned on preparing as soon a possible though, starting with tonight. "And how are we getting into the party?"

Draven barely listened until of course, he heard his name and role in the mission. When Kyrin finally finished, he fell into a moment of thought and ended up laughing at the irony. He was going to be a man, using his fake name to assume a new fake name and also changing from one fake self to another fake self. Nothing was going to be real for Draven anymore, and as for a name. He went to scratch the stubble at his chin again, and once again felt foolish when he felt no hair.

A heartbeat past as Draven thought about who he was going to work with, and Kyrin acting pregnant, that sounded a little fishy, but Draven could care less about it. For a moment Draven wondered if he should tell Kyrin about his assumed name. It would be a good idea in case anyone knew him. The confusion and anger it would create, it almost made Draven shiver. He might, but for now he would think of a new name.

Kyrin listened to Nori’s questions with interest, glad that he seemed to be thinking about what she had said enough to be able to develop questions. “We have near a week and a half before we actually leave. I know that that’s not very much time.” She said softly. “Since the time is short, if you are going to be needing help with the costumes Nori, I will pay for some people to aide your sewing.” The next question was one that Kyrin had intended to get on to when she continued. Looking around for a moment to see if there were anymore questions, Kyrin began again. “The reason that we will be arriving early, in addition to having time to get in character, is because we are not yet on the guest list. Once we get there, Fiore, and anyone else who has the ability to be helpful in this area, will be sneaking past security and getting into the main computers to put our names on the list. This will be somewhat difficult considering the security that Mr. Largo is using. The thing is, though, I have information about this system because it is an older one. Also, we have the layout to his mansion.” She turned to Fiore, “Something that I will be giving you. I want you to study it and know it well. She turned her attention back to the rest of the group and continued. “The day the guests are to arrive, we will come hours apart, and when we are introduced to one another at the welcoming ceremony you will act as you have never seen one another in your life. Also, please, for the sake of this mission, act straight.“ Kyrin meant no offense by this, she simply thought it would be out of the ordinary in the context they would find themselves in, “We will arrive with our bags, but no weapons, because we cannot be found with them on our persons. The only people who will carry a weapon will be our four body guards, but be assured that they will be promptly taken away at the gate. You will act irritated by these actions, but nothing else. After we have been admitted entrance to stay within the mansion, we will have a few people sneak away back to our hotel room one night to bring back our weapons. Once we are housed in the mansion, we will continue to play our parts for a couple of days until the big party that is being held in his outside gardens. This is where we will make our move. I haven’t quite figured how I want this part to go yet, but be assured that you will have the rest of the plan before we leave.”

Kyrin sighed and shifted in her seat, moving to become more comfortable and even leaning back slightly. “Just a note. Disguises need to be realistic and generally not those that attract attention.” Her gaze went to Draven, “Your hair cannot stay like that.” Standing now, Kyrin said, “That is just about all I have for you at this time. Are there any more questions?”

Draven stuck his bottom lip out and made a sad puppy look at Kyrin, but quickly wiped it off and shrugged. He then slowly waked from where he stood until he faced Kyrin, “I think I have something that needs to be said”, he let his words hang for a moment before continuing, “in private” Draven then took a few steps back and then to the side, so no ones view of Kyrin was obstructed by his large body. He didn’t really know what Kyrin was going to do to his hair, but the thought of having short hair made him shiver slightly, Draven took great pride in his shinny locks.

He turned to face everyone else and gave an especially evil glare at James, whom he didn’t really enjoy working with, but differences would have to be set aside. He didn’t want James to move in on Kyrin, and wanted Craig to leave. Things would hopefully work out for him in the end, for now. He’d have to live with watching Kyrin’s back.

Lily had moved herself as far as the door to listen to everything that was said. With her being in the second the group the fact of the matter was that she didn't know anyone in this group and therefore didn't have to act. She nearly laughed out loud after hearing she was going to be an errand boy, but kept her face impassive. She looked at Ian, Jayden, Bella, and Tristan sizing them up to see what their worth was to her. Shrugging at her inner thoughts about her group she leaned casually against the wall. A new name, a new appearance, a role in the mafia on this mission sounds dangerous enough.she thinks while forming her questions carefully. "Will there be a safe house in Austrailia in case any trouble happens and we need to stay low? What sort of "freetime" do I have to check out the surrounding area and get to know the people therein? Not to mention when this mission is all said and done, what is our take from it?"Lily kept thinking of other questions to ask, but she remained silent so as to hear Kyrin's answers.

Fiore blinked a few times, taking a seat. Things were happening so fast. She was having enough trouble trying to warm up to people around her, but now she would have to play a whole new character? It almost seemed unrealistic. But Fiore would do what she knew how to do, study. She would study a character, learn them, and become them. She knew it wasn't really 'her' but she would do it for the sake of the mission

This mission excited her. Although it wasn't exactly a mission that involved stealing anything, she was happy with her role...an errand boy. How young? She seemed pretty small, she could probably pass for a twelve year old boy. She could try and be cheerful, and adventurous, as a young boy is normally portrayed in her english homeworks.

As for memorizing the layout of the mansion, this wouldn't be much of a problem with Fiore's photographic memory. The only thing that seemed meddlesome to her about the mission was the computer hacking part. She knew she'd be able to get past the security no problem, but she was no computer hacker...she scratched her head a bit. She couldn't possibly learn about hacking into computers that fast as well as study a new character. She looked up at Kyrin with her one good eye...
"...I think...I may need a communication device of somesort...I'm not skilled with computers."
Sure, Fiore was skilled with complex security devices, but no standard computers.

Jamie surveyed the room, chancing a sardonic smirk towards Draven. I'm not scared of you, and I don't care if you hate me. You're just playing the child and wasting your time. He didn't think much of the other man either, but he didn't really want to use any of his energy acting on the thought. Nor was he that thrilled at playing a bodyguard, still, he saw himself as too small to be believed as someone that threatening, but he wasn't about to complain. He didn't care enough to make it a big deal.

And he still looked forward to seeing what Nori made of him. He liked the idea of changing his identity, it gave him someone else's set of concerns for the time being. And he didn't really want his own concerns, at least not at that point. Changing who he was at this point was going to help more than it was going to hinder.

"If you need any additional help, perhaps, I could volunteer myself," he volunteered to Kyrin, "I mean, you have been letting me stay here for nothing, and without a real position in the group." He couldn't bear to refer to it as a mafia, the word held too many other connotations for him.

Jaydn listened to Kyrin's announcement and the members of her mafia's questions, they all seemed to be thinking about it. Jaydn had some thoughts on it as well but no questions that anyone in the room other than himself needed to hear the answers of. Mainly he had a slight issue with the grouping. He almost felt as if Kyrin was trying to annoy him by leaving him in a group with Isabella, whom he reluctantly had to be 'intimate' with. There was that and also the fact that Kyrin had placed within her own set of people the idiot, Draven. Jaydn would much rather prefer that the man was in Jaydn's group so that Jaydn could keep a watch on him or, best yet, Draven not be in any group at all, an unlikely possibility.

When Draven approached Kyrin with the request to speak to her in private, Jaydn narrowed his cool grey eyes at the man, a look that held strong even as Draven surveyed the looks of all the other people in the room. Looking around like that, he seems suspicious. Idiot. Jaydn was a little worried that Draven would be unable to act like another person as Kyrin was asking of them, he seemed too caught up in his own head more than half the time.

Jaydn was pleased with Kyrin's decision to place Craig within her own group and Tristan in Jaydn's. With Craig being there, Jaydn was relieved, sure that the other man would watch over Kyrin in Jaydn's place while Jaydn kept his eye on Tristan.

Though the member of the mafia looked to Kyrin for answers, Jaydn found himself with another reason to visit his uncle. There's more that I need to know that I highly doubt Kyrin can give me. It wasn't to say that Kyrin wouldnt tell Jaydn all that she knew, it was just that perhaps she didnt know everything, which was understandable, there was always something hidden away in these situations. I'll go see him today. There's plenty of time for it.

Kyrin waited to see if Nori would respond to what she had said about getting him some help, but when he didn’t respond she looked up at Draven, and said, “Sure, one sec.” She then turned to the questions that Lily had raised, “I hadn’t thought up a safe zone yet, but you can be sure that there will be one before we leave, thank you for bringing that up.” Truthfully, Kyrin hadn’t even thought to make a safe zone, or place, but she wasn’t about to admit it out right. “And about this ‘free time’, there will likely be none. So get that idea out of your system now. The last question had Kyrin in thought for a moment, before she said, “You will be compensated for your time, we can come to an agreement later on what the lot of you want, be it money or something else.” Turning then to Fiore, Kyrin’s eyes lingered on her, I need someone whose good with computers or this isn’t going to work… Kyrin knew of one person, but she wondered what trouble he would bring if she brought him in. A last resort… She thought. “Fiore, you and I will talk that aspect over later.” Kyrin had caught the looks that had gone between Draven and James, and a small smile graced her lips, she looked over at James, “Your company is enough, but if you really want to I will call on you if I think of something.” She then rose from her chair and said, “If there is nothing else, I believe I am needed else where.” Kyrin looked at Draven now, as if telling him to lead the way.

Draven nodded in acknowledgement to Kyrin as he began walking out of the room, he didn’t bother to wait for Kyrin, knowing that she could easily find him outside the door. His palms were sweating, his heart fluttered between stomach and throat. This wasn’t going to be something easy for Draven, whom had successfully lived a fake life for a few years now. Although there was really no need to tell Kyrin of his fake self, Draven thought it would be best before going on a mission where he would have to assume another guise.
PostPosted: Mon Apr 23, 2007 6:43 pm

Nori thought a moment as he watched Kyrin leave the room. A lot of details were now filled in, and his task was pretty clear. Studying his role, providing outfits for the others...He was deffinatley capable of this. And Kyrin had even offered to hire some hands to help him out, which he found generous. Sewing help...That was something that he probably needed and would have a much less difficult time with his project if he had some....but secretly, Nori wanted to prove his worth and take it alone. Growing up in a competitive environment taught him to have a sense of satisfaction when accomplishing a difficult task by himself. His pride, which was safely tucked away deep inside of him, couldn't ask for help.

Raising his voice a little, so the rest of the housemates in the room could hear him, he requested:" Everyone, I'll need to take all of your measurements within the next few days, so please come to me when it's convenient. Oh, and um, breakfast is in the kitchen." He wanted to ask the others' opinions on the mission, but now that his creative streak was on a role, he had a one track mind which he wouldn't pass up.

Now would be the matter of buying fabrics and other tools. With his head in a mess, Nori wanted to marched like a zombie towards his room and grab his laptop, sketchpads, and other necissary designing goods to dump onto the ballroom floor, which he would use as his crafting area until someone raised an objection. Brain in a flutter, he started to walk towards the exit, sketching invisible outfits in his mind's eye.

Kyrin gave one last look to the group before making her way after Draven. Hearing Nori's last words on her way out, Kyrin realized that she was hungry and that the quesy feeling had subsided. With her thoughts now on food, she wasn't focused on the mission anymore, or where she was going in any case. Kyrin fumbled with her footing, as she and Draven were walking, when she didn't see the rug that came a quarter of an inch of the wooden floor boards. Catching herself quickly, Kyrin tried to play it off as best she could. She was sure that it didn't work. Almost tripping, did however, bring her mind back to the mission and what it was that Draven wanted to talk to her about. I'm sure he's not going to confess his love again. She thought logically, that and she was almost sure that he knew about her and Craig. That put her mind at ease slightly, But if not that, then what's important enough to him to need to take the conversation out of the room? She pushed the thought away, He's not dangerous, not here anyway. She thought next, but then she remembered how he had gotten when he thought she was dating James, how he had shoved her and yelled. Kyrin eyed him out of the corner of her vision, but didn't say anything.

Trying not to think of the instability that she found in Draven, Kyrin tried to think of any instabilities that she may have in her mission. It was true that she hadn't thought of a safe place, and this set her mind off on two things; the first, ridiculing herself for not thinking of that fact, and the second trying to figure out a place that would work. As it was, she didn't know all that much about Australia. I will have to look it up later. She thought as she went on to the next thing that she would need to come up with, I don't have a computers person... The thought tugged at her mind, suddenly making her wonder how they were going to pull it off without someone who knew what they were doing. It was true that Fiore could probably get into the building, but with no one on the other side of the headset that Fiore wanted who would know what they were doing, getting Fiore into the building would be close to useless. With her mind full of the things that she had forgotten and the things that needed to get done in such a short amount of time, Kyrin turned suddenly to Draven, "We need to make this a quick talk."
