Flamer42 I don't remember anything about Delta Source.... oh yeah, now I remember. the emperor lined the halls of his palace with special trees that absporbed sound waves. he attatched computers to their roots to take the sound waves and translate them so he could litsen in on goings on in his palace. thrawn knew about it and used it as his primary Intelligence on Republic activities until it was found out.

I had remembered the sound part, and that Thrawn used 'em, but I couldn't remember how it got translated.

there werent computers attatched to them, the robots that tended to the plants were the translators. the plants pick up sound and turn it into chemicals and the droids would sample the chemicals and translate everything out. thus everything said in the main halls would be documented.

CaleDarksun funny, I thought the uberslicer Ghent was involved. nah, ghent just sliced into the imperial battle codes. he was involved so far as figuring out there was a pulse transmitter. leia did the rest.
