Lady Ali'ance? Odilen felt like swearing. Why wasn't she aware of so many of the key players in this game? She made a firm mental note to talk to Zayn or someone else about all of this - the amount she'd missed while playing at the Festival or simply by being lost before the whole adventure with Aversham's crystal was beginning to gall her to the core.

Unable to do much without clear knowledge of this woman they were seeking, Odilen lurked behind the rest of them, looking around at the sparkling, gaudy goings-on. Spark still lurked under her skirts, twitching a bit at every "bzzt" or "ding", while BoCo shuffled along the carpet in little circles, picking up anything interesting he could find. He had two poker chips, a dice, and a discarded hatpin in a small pile now.

Mirror glanced back once over his shoulder at the other members of the group as the giggling women before him worked up an answer to his question. He could see that the rest of them felt the same way as he did and he seemed a little disturbed at the fact that Dune was back.

Could she have some connection to what was going on with all these mysterious disappearances?

It was nice to know he didn't have to truly explain himself, though he already had to say the least.. but he finished off the sandwich and then got some more tea. Though it was an interesting mix, since tea was all he had to drink, he drank it with no complaint. He didn't seem to care about how expensive food was. In Akiya's house, there were huge meals, but that was because everyone else ate like mini armies!

But seeing how late it was, he knew it was time to rest and he gently picked up the little Elysian and soothed her little whimper. "Thank you but it is time for us to retire. Indeed it had been a rather long day and some good rest is just what I need to help my nerves..." Standing up, he scooped up Yue and placed the both of them back into the little carrying case for them, humming softly to his little girl as he picked it up and held it close. It would help her sleep, she said.. so he had to sing to her. Picky little imp. "Thank you for allowing us to stay..."

A brow shifted at the words spoken by the rather airheaded females. Why did they treat Mirror like he had no idea what he was asking? Though it was true Akiya himself wasn't ever in the casino, but still. Seems some people don't know the basic meaning of respect and his lips pressed into a flat line.

Though he was unhappy at the knowledge that Cordelia was there, there was truly nothing to be done about it. Either they headed back through the winds and rain to the tavern and waited til morning to remake the trip.. or they could just wait there. He wasn't sure what he should do, since he didn't know where Koni was. Oddly enough, he could feel Reika nearby... so maybe Koni was too. But it was way too late to be hunting that elusive deity down.

"So I suppose the next choice is the decide what to do. I doubt the weather'll get any better and I don't feel like making another couple of trips out into the rains again.. I may stay here and wait it out..."

Tail bristled like a scrub brush, Quinn stalked away from the vapid, giggling woman, snatching a drink from a tray on her way across the room. She was unsure as to whether the others would follow her, but she wasn't going anywhere until she had some answers.

She sucked the drink down in two gulps and sat quite forcebly onto a sectional in the corner of the room. It was less smokey here, quieter and her irritated features insured that only her friends or very brave and stupid strangers would dare to bother her.

Odilen followed, uncertain. So now they were to wait here for who knew how long, waiting for someone she didn't even know. Wonderful.

"Ah... who is this Lady Ali'ance, anyway?" she asked, following after Mirror and Quinny like a lost duckling. "And why are we waiting for her?"

Spark hissed a bit at the emotion in the air, then discharged a static surge into the floor, scorching the carpet just a tiny tiny bit.

Odilen's jaw dropped. "A murderer? We're here looking for a murderer?" She looked around carefully, suddenly paranoid. "I'm obviously missing something serious here... what exactly happened?" The Ieldi looked deeply troubled.

"You want detail?!" Quinn asked, voice pitched higher and more irrate than before. She wasn't one who usually took to drink and apparently, her few were starting to get to her. "Fine. Lets see. I met her awhile ago and she was rude and mean and almost made me cry. And then, when we somehow got to that weird place with all the crystals before we had to ride Chauncy home, I saw her kill Elizabeth in one of the movie crystals. Did I mention she was mean to me? And killed people?" Her whole body drooped and she craddled her head in her hands.

"And now, we have to wait for her because she probably killed Vincent too and then she'll try to kill us and we wont be able to kill her and we'll all just escape and it will make a very good story... but I'm tired of making good stories. I just wanted to find Saevem and help Chauncy..."

If only someone would find her some candy...

"It's no use, the cops wont be able to help. She'll probably just kill them too... its what she's good at..." Quinn hung her head and shook it a bit before looking Odilen in the eye, "At first, I hated her when she stole the crystal and then, when I didnt know who she was, she was very nice to me and she laughed and made me feel safe and I guarded her staff for her and it showed me the crystal and I knew it was safe. And then I found out she was some Overlord something or other and not the pretty flower I thought she was and I didnt know what to think... But still, I dont think it was right to kill her. She did what she had to do. Its all any of us do."

She paused then and looked at her hands, "Some of us just make better choices than others, that's all..."
