Hukari sighed. she said laughing. they just got back to the house and Gaara carried Serene up to her room and layed her in her bed, and put her covers over her, stood there and looked at her for a minute and then left for his own room.

Serene just slept peacefully, knowing that she was being protected by the one that she loved, slept soundlessly for the rest of the night.
