Thorn sighed. He looked around and wandered off. I wonder where the kitchen is... he thought. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if the door just appeared in front of my... SLAM! Thorn walked into a door. He fell backwards and rubbed his head. "This must be it." he muttered. Opening the door, he cautiously looked in.

Baranar continued to cook his food, adding some basic seasoning, paying no heed to the battle behind him, watching it through his second sight, observing the different powers exerted, smiling at Ora's development.
He finished his foot, setting it on a plate and, despite the darkness, walking to the table and sitting.

[z-gawdess] Eulalia Danae "And you call me a child?" Ora let out a small laugh. She stepped out of the way of the staff as it grazed up agaisnt her ankle. She was becoming used to the way Lorica attacked with her little portals. Ora brought her hand down on the floor of the kitchen, a dark energy around it, and when it touched the floor black vines shot up and out to twine around Loricatus, sharp thorns along the stems, designed to sting as well as to hold. (7 4 2 35) Vigi summoned her portals around her so that the vines went through her and they attacked Ora from below. She then used her staff to throw the toast in the air and the she it it like a baseball towards Ora's right. Ora had three options, to blink out, to step right, or to jump up. Either way she would read Ora's movements to see which action she was leaning towards. ((Why is she throwing toast at her?.....oh...unless you mean the toaster...)) Ora did neither, the vines instantly recognized their master and instead of attacking conformed to a shield,and blocked the toast(er). Her crimson eyes narrowed as she summoned an illusion especially designed for Vigi: a bloody,dying Higi in the doorway. 6 3 2 35

Safetly behind the door of her room, Jaydis let out a sigh. What had she agreed to? Sure, she could get her revenge, but at what price? These people expected her alliance. She doubted that they knew that she would not die for them. Nor defend them in the heat of battle. She covered her own a** and her own a** only. She could care less for fuzzy friendships and companionship.

" Higi's couldn't be beaten by a worthless man like that. I-it's one of your stupid illusions." she stood on guard anger seeping into her.

Mackie.the.Knife ((And the guards? Guards were mentioned, which is why I assumed a guardroom.)) ((Forgot to answer this....um yes, there are guards, two on the inside one on the outside. All equipped with radios to contact the head folks in case of a problem.))

Thorn looked at the fight between the two supers. He blinked, rubbed his eyes, and gasped. There was a realistic dying person in the doorway. "Oh. My. GOD!" Thorn jumped and opened his book. Reciting a spell, he summoned his aid, a young Fire Dragon, named Flare, to his side.
Flare shot a glare at Thorn, clearly indicating that he thought Thorn was overreacting, and that this young man was only an illusion.
Thorn grinned. "I knew that. Don't you dare correct me on things like that It's the Alliance of Supers we're here with. Anything can happen."
Flare made a low rumbling noise, which Thorn perceived as a sigh.
I wonder why they're fighting though? he thought to himself.

When Bobby arrived at the end of the hall, he found a door with an electronic lock, and two guards. He took their radios and ID badges, and tied their shoelaces together, then faced the door. As his Timestop lapsed, he felt heavy - very heavy. He leaned against the door for a moment's support as he activated the relay that would open it. [mp10, sp3, lp50, 2 explosives]

In the middle of the fight a green moth fluttered into the room, and after landing on Ora's shoulder, Ora raised her sword and with a small twist of her wrist the bells tied to the hilt made a tinkling sound. There was a quick pulse and the magic of the surrounding area became instantly nullified. "Forgive me, Loricatus, but I must bring this little exercise to an end: I have important matters to attend to." She passed by Thorn and gave him a small nod. "It is good to have you, if there is anything you need, our british butler will be of good service to you." She nodded in Arthur's direction with a sharply amused grin on her face.
Ora moved smoothly out the door, grabbing a long hooded cloak as if from out of the air.

Higi smiled as he struggled very hard to move his lips. very sure this man had gotten passed him. "Oh, don't like increased gravity? I have to say, it is rather a b***h." he twitched Pravus Ferrum to cause a very small gravital orb around himself so that gravity around him was restored to normal and he turned to look at Bobby. "It's much easier to move from my position." he turned Pravus Ferrum and the a massive increase in the gravity caused some of the piping to rupture in the wall lining the hallway with water.
