"Sheena, The wyverns patterns show that they came down to feed. All the smaller monsters are probably being onset by the flying beasts now." Lloyd corrected. Thanks to Raine, Lloyd had been actually studying the pattern of monsters and thier habitats. Not because he wanted too, but because he was trying to fight smart as well as strong, as it was the only way he was able to beat his father. "Plus..." Lloyd glanced over to the small child. "They don't make suits of armor for seven year olds, and I'm not too sure he'll be able to lift a 'good strong shield'." Lloyd was acting very concerned for the childs safety. "I think the only monsters that can fend off the dragons are the ogres out West, And I don't think Ichigo is ready for them yet, plus, thier way to far out." Lloyd stood up straight, suddenly remembering something. "The Wyverns were up north, wasn't that where Genis and Raine were heading?" He asked, refering to the rumors he heard earlier.

"Yes, I think you said that's where they were. Raine's studying a ruin or something, right?" Sheena said, sounding distracted. Her mind was in so many places at once. She decided to focus on the present and think about the future after the speech so she could actuall have time to think about it without Ichigo or Lloyd bothering her.

"...na? ..e..na? Sheena?!" Lloyd said, shaking her shoulder. "Are you listening?" He asked, looking slightly concerned. Apparently, She must have been in her own little world, which troubled Lloyd a little. "Your going to have to deliver the speech for me... I'm going to check on the tower of mana." He said, determination in his eyes. the prospect of Genis and Raine in danger troubled him. "If I'm not back in time for the speech, deliver my portion, okay?"

Sheena's attention snapped back to Lloyd. "No. You're not leaving me here." She told him, not asked. "Last time you left me-..." She couldn't finish the sentence so she just coughed and then continued. "You can't go it alone, what if you meet up with a monster you can't handle on your own? You don't have your exphiere anymore, remember? You can't just give me a talk about how dangerous it is out there, and then run right into that danger yourself!"
By this time, Ichigo had managed to creep his was closer to the pair of young adults. He knew they were pretty distracted with their conversation and didn't think they would notice him eavesdropping.

"Sheena, I've handled myself pretty well for almost three years." He smiled, a bit of worry in his voice for her memory. "Besides, I'm pretty expenadble in th big picture. You are a chieftin and a mother. If I do meet up with a bad monster, the chances are that I'd be able to hightail it out of there on Noishe, you know?" He said. His voice dropped to a serious tone. "You can't go because If anything happened to you, what would I tell Ichigo? He doesn't like me now, what would happen to him if you didn't come back, huh? He can't come along, because, yes, it is dangerous." He stood up tall. "And don't worry. I'll come back this time." He smiled. "For you."

Sheena huffed. "You'd better come back, or I'll kill you... if... you're not already dead..." Sheena said, thinking about this, but she then stopped herself from drifting off. "Are you going to let Ichigo and I come with you at some point? Or are you going to be like this all the time? Not that it matters, because you have no power over what the two of us do... it's not like we're related or married or anything."

"You seem to be depressed saying so." He said, his eyes wideining in surprise.the fell soon after, switching back into a somewhat serious Lloyd. "No, I'll let you come with me, when it's not so dangerous. Or when Ichigo is old enough to defend himself in a fix." Lloyd said matter-of-factly. "Do you actually think I want to leave you guys after a reunion?"

"It's just... I don't know... If I can trust you anymore..." Sheena admited. She was still unsure of him. "What if you go and don't come back? What if I never see you again?"

"I'm coming back, okay. Alright, fine, I promise I won't die either, how's that?" He said, putting his fits into his sides and puffing out his chest. "I'm just gonna see if I can get Raine and Genis, and it should be smooth sailing back from there, okay?"

Lloy dturned with Sheena to look at Ichigo. "I knew you'd find a way to listen in. Alright, I promise to come back... to you two Ichigo." Making the small boy face the consequences of making Lloyd promise to come back to Sheena come to realization. Smiling, the boy hero turned To Sheena. "I'm heading out now." He said, giving a sharp whistle, bring Noishe closer. "I should be back in a couple days, three at most."

Sheena stomped her foot. "You'd better be back in two!" She called out, her voice sounding angry to cover up for the fact that she was sad.
Ichigo ran up to Lloyd, he looked angry too, because he had the same way of covering up his emotions as his guardian. The small boy grabbed Lloyd's hand and tied a piece of red ribbon around his wrist. There was a small silver bell hanging off of it. "It's Sheena's good luck charm. She makes me carry it when we travel... so... yeah..." Ichigo blushed but then narrowed his eyes. "Don't lose it!"

Lloyd lifted it to his face and looked at it. "Corrine." He smiled. Closing his hand around it, he nodded to Ichigo. "I'll defend it with my life. It's a priority." He nodded, as if Ichigo was the one with all the respect. "Be back soon." He gave a thumbs up and headed for Noishe, climbing up on the Protozoan's back.
((I think I'm gonna make a 1 chapter fic on Lloyds journey there and back.))

Ichigo nodded, standing up straight, and forcing his face into a serious and dignified expression. "Good luck." He blurted out.
Sheena was standing a little ways off, her face held the same emotion as Ichigo's only it looked more natural on her. She took a few steps foward and put a hand on Ichigo's shoulder as they both watched Lloyd. "Don't get yourself killed out there. That bell means a lot to me and I want it back."
((But... can we just fast foward through it for now?))

Lloyd smiled. "You know I know it is." He nodded. "She protected you when you needed it." Lloyd neglected to mention he, too, nearly sacrificed himself to save her on more then one occasion. Wouldn't be right. "I'm off. Tell the mayor sorry for not making it." He said, as Noishe took off like the wind. No horse in the country could hope to go as fast as the Protazoan when it was willed to do so. Lloyd's look of partial spacing-ness faded as Sheena faded into the distance, as he slowly headed into the dangerourous territory of the Wyverns.
And they were Hungry.
