King Robert Silvermyst I am a Shemsu in the Kemetic Orthodoxy. I was for most of my life a Roman Catholic, but I could never truely feel the Divine in my life, and the way I was taught to view other faiths did not seem to hold true to the teachings of Jesus. In fact, most everything seemed contradictory. While I was stationed in Iraq, that was when Sekhmet came to me, and through study and research, i found a faith I never knew existed. Eventually, I became a Kemetic Orthodox, and now I have a very personal and wonderful relationship with the Gods and Goddesses, and always my strongest connection and love is with Sekhmet, though I do always give respect, prayer and praise to the Others, and I especially enjoy the combination of fun and seriousness with Yinepu ^.^ (He goes crazy over offerings of chocolate razz ) And above all else, my life is balanced, and I now have the kind of support to overcome my hardships that I never had before, and with a family of Shemsu and Remetj that actually acts like a family. That's awesome... I love stories life that. biggrin

Theistic Satanist. Close to what a Luciferian is. I was raised Baptist Christian. I still have some Christian beliefs. I still accept Jesus as my savior, but thats about all I really share with the Chrsitan faith. Everyone in my family is a devout Christian, except for myself and my sister. To my knowledge, we are the first to have different beleifs and views and thje first to go towards otehr religions. Im more of a satanist than anything and my sister shares in some buddhist beleifs. Our whole family has always been centered around God and Jesus in one way or another. Each individual family out of our grand scheme believes differently to an extent but they all share common core values and beleifs.

I am an ecclectic pagan who leans more in the direction of the positive portion of magick but is not afraid to bust out the darker stuff when the circumstances call for it. I am... exploring still.
For the whole shebang, see my introductory post, which may be accessed via my profile for those who don't know.

I wear a cross and call myself Christian, but I don't go to church, nor to I agree with much of the Bible. I do, however, believe in a single God, as well as Jesus Christ. I pray and, though I don't pay attention to individual rules, use the basic morals of Christianity as a foundation to how I run my life. I believe very strongly that one should be accepting, selfless, and especially open-minded (I have a strong learn-before-judging policy) and I obviously have a few things to work out still, but I'm in general the kind of person who dislikes the idea of being cruel or hateful to absolutely anyone. There's no hate in my life, and I think that that, coupled with my beliefs, makes me a Christian, wouldn't you say?

Um, I believe in the trinity and all, but honestly, I think God over here is a girl. No kidding, God's voice is a girls voice. Maybe he's a intersex? Another thing, I don't think hate is bad as a whole, but it needs to be in moderation. I think hate is a natural feeling. Everything in this world has an opposite, and hate is love's opposite. Does that make it bad? No, because if not for hate, how could we distinquish love? In love and hate, I take a Satanist's prespective. So I go and mix in some other stuff from other religions? I don't think its a crime and most of the stuff is Christian.

I am currently a non-denominational Christian who is trying very hard to become a good little Mormon Girl. Unfortunately, I was raised with TWO Roman Catholics (Mom & Sis), and a Presbyterian (Dad), none of which are really all that tolerant. crying

I don't think its a crime and most of the stuff is Christian. Perhaps I should restate what I said earlier: I dislike the idea of me being cruel or hateful to anyone. I never said it was a bad thing as a whole, in fact I agree completely that without the bad we can't see the good; it's just not a part of my life. I also think it depends on how you define hate. I dislike things; of course I do. But I guess I'm one of those who thinks hate is a rather strong word. Yeah, I'll use it for convenience, but by my definition I don't really hate anyone/thing. The downside is that I'm a terrible pushover.

I use the words Witch and Wiccan interchangeably for myself.
I don't believe that the Goddess and God are sentient beings. I believe They are basically all the energy making up all that is. I believe that when you die, your spirit energy decomposes and rejoins the Goddess and God. We will always be a part of all that is, whether anchored to a human body or any other thing.

Liberal Quaker, some Hindu influences.
I believe that God is present in all living beings, thus pacifism (but I will defend myself . . . I was the first person to flip a cop over in my self-defense class! I was all, "Oh no, I'm so sorry! Are you ok?") and equality for all. Inner search brings one closer to the light of God within us and pacifism is the respect for that light in everyone.

I'm more spiritual than religious. I pretty much take characteristics from religions I like and mash them up. I sometimes call myself agnostic but I'm really not sure what 'religion' I want to belong in.

Just a trivia FYI, not too long ago these terms were much more synonymous than they are in the current generation. whee

I'm agnostic when it comes to my views on God.
The way I try to live my life is influenced a bit by Taoism and a bit more by Discordianism.
