American cannons are good, because they have so much iron in the land. You can literally find it lying on the ground.

Kibo laughs.
Kibo: Chain shots are full of crap. If one cannonball is even slightly heavier than the other, they won't fly on a decent trajectory, even at point blank range.

"I've never used them. But they sounded cool to me plus they damage sails so the ship cant move."

Kibo: Damaged sails can still move, albeit slower. If you're looking to destroy the mast itself, there are much better ways of doing so, without causing as much collateral damage to the ship itself. After all, once you rob the ship, why not take it for your own?

Kibo: Trust me. There's rarely a man in these seas who won't take a barren ship for his own. Once you see the ship before you, bare and waiting for a captain, you'll be hard-pressed to give that chance up.

Linda and her two apparent twin friends nodded in agreement with Kibo.
"Espeacily since decent ships cost so much nowadays." "Pirate hunters and war ships cost even more, too." "Take what you can, and strip the seas bare."

Zia and Maida laughed.
"If you don't make the ship barren, you don't want it." "Someone," "Or something," "Had to make that ship emtpy." "And if they didn't bring it along," "It's cursed." "Or worse." "Much, much worse." "Oh so very much worse then just your average ghost ships." "And those aren't very good to begin with." "Not very good at all."

Kibo: I'm talking about after we make it barren. Not many'd be fool enough to take a free floating ship in the middle of the sea.
