His shirt wasn't hot at all, but his skin still was, and he used that in his defense by reaching up with his injured hand and placing it over Reno's so he would have to be let go. "Sorry!" He yelped, if Reno got burned he would offer to heal it once the practice was over.

Knowing Kaleb's wrist was hurt he smacked it with the e-mag again before the heat got to him. He'd been in burning buildings and it didn't hurt that bad yet. Maybe Kaleb would let go before he got burned.

Kaleb yelped again and tears came to his eyes at the sharp sting, but he didn't let go. If he backed off and allowed Reno to hold him, he would just end up getting knocked around worse. To distract himself from the pain, the mage used another binding spell to anchor the pantleg on Reno's free leg to the floor, leaving enough room to give him the illusion of freedom until he actually tried to step with it.

Trying to pivot he cursed as he let go of Kaleb and looked down to his leg. "Damn sneeky brat" He tugged at his leg trying to get it free.

Kaleb jumped back as Reno let go, and he went back to carefully cradling his wrist agaist his chest as he circled around to get behind the redhead. While he was trapped, Kaleb gave him a hard shove with his shoulder that would knock him over while he couldn't move his feet to steady himself.

Kaleb returned Reno's look as if to say that he deserved it after hurting his wrist, but then his face went bright red and he looked away once he realized what Reno was doing.

"Right ... now that that's taken care of." Balancing on the balls of his feet he launched himself at Kaleb again.

Kaleb stepped back, and his shielding was a bit clumsy since he wasn't watching Reno close enough to predict his attacks well.

He wanted his pants back so that meant knocking Kaleb down. If he could just get his e-mag against Kaleb he could knock him out.

Kaleb almost frantically blocked Reno's attacks, but he blushed every time he so much as glanced at him. It reminded the mage of the morning he had woken up rather naked in Reno's bed, and that certainly wasn't a pleasant place for one's mind to wander while being attacked. At that point, all it would take to hit him would be a well timed blow from the opposite direction when Kaleb blushed and looked away.

Noting Kalebs blushing and averting his eyes he waited until he had a perfect opening. It took a few minuets but after a while he was able to jam the e-mag between Kaleb's arm and his chest and send a shock though him.

Kaleb didn't even have a chance to yelp in pain before falling to the ground in a twitching heap. He wanted to get back to his feet but he couldn't seem to get his body to work, and the pain was incredible. Instead of getting up and continuing the match, he just lay on the floor gasping and shaking a bit.

"Game, set, match Reno." He snickered. "Sorry about that kiddo." Well he wasn't really sorry but maybe that would keep Kaleb from messing up his e-mag again.

Kaleb managed to regain his wits enough to pull himself into a sitting position. "I-It's okay," he said in a shaky voice, not daring to stand up just yet. He, on the other hand, did feel rather bad, because he had no idea how long it would take the spell binding Reno's pants to wear off.
