Cheerful Spirit Shadows Fall: War Within? What's that? surprised LeGASP! If you weren't a SoaD fan, I would have just lost all respect for you crying J/K. Shadows Fall is my 2nd favorite band and War Within is their new CD. They're the shiznite and so are Killswitch Engage and all the other bands on the Art of Touring tour. Sorry, non System fanboy moment xp

Shadows Fall is my 2nd favorite band and War Within is their new CD. They're the shiznite and so are Killswitch Engage and all the other bands on the Art of Touring tour. Yeah, they're really similar, SF is more musically driven though, in the fact that it focusses more on the lead guitar than the vocals.

Hey, I'm Lauren, but feel free to just call me stillbreathing if it's easier for you. I'm 16, a sophmore, and from Michigan, near the Detroit area. System of a Down was here Thursday night and I couldn't go gonk crying But it's okay. I heard there was some really tall obese guy dominating the mosh pits, hitting people that weren't even looking at him. And he was SHIRTLESS!

Hey. I'm Meg, but please, please call me Hermit. If I don't know you and you call me Meg, I tend to get rather freaked out. I'm 16, an Aussie and have only just recently realised that I absolutely adore SOAD. Other bands I enjoy include The Butterfly Effect and old Silverchair. My musical tastes are pretty mixed, and I like a whole lot of random songs as well. Other interests of mine include art, British comedy, writing and sleeping.
Yeah. I think that's about it.

I be stray... MOO!
Ok, I was introduced to SOAD a while ago by my good friend, Bryce. THe first song I heard, (I can regretfuly say) was BYOB. At first, I didn't really like it and just laughed because it sounded like nonsense. But after a while, I understood it. It lost it's humor.
I begged for more songs, and I got the whole Mezmerize CD. I Listened to it all, and found background info. Found out tons about Serj Daron John and Shavo, and eventually I got all 4 CD's.
I'm jumping in my seat just THINKING about Hypnotize!
Currently, my favorite songs are Ego Brain and Roulette.
Oh! I also play guitar! OUt of SOAD, I'm learning lost in hollywood (very slowly learning...) I can play the intro and the solo of Radio/Video, all of Roulette, the intro to ego brain, and a little bit of Sugar.
My favorite member of SOAD would have to be Daron, for he is my hero. He has both an Iceman AND an SG and has made it to one of the top ten guitarists of 2003 (I think it was that year..can't remember).
