Maximos ::Sadly, the Doctor wasnt here to give answers to that question. But one thing was for sure. The Doctor believed in doing as was done to him. For example, he was treated like a freak, he treated them as freaks. If his life was saved from the blistering cold, and protected from a possible attacker outside his saviors home, he would definately want to do the same for someone else. He would not leave a suffering boy, about the same age as Madison to die. Alone. In the snow. And he certainly wouldnt be forgiving anyone who did. Death is a natural part of life. Growing old and dying is natural. Being mauled by a beast before you can exit your teens....is not nature. Madi had moved his organs back, that was good. Now she would likely need something to hold them in place while she transported him. Did she have anything wide and warm that could be used to hold his organs in place and keep him warm? These were the type of questions, she needed to be asking herself. Fear is a horrible thing, and fear is also a natural thing. But fear was a luxury that this situation did not afford. Or maybe it did...if the cold had finally gotten to her and her heart had grown as cold as the Tundra...:: P...lease....d...d...dont, let...him...t...take...me...::His eyes were beginning to grow glossy, but they did a most horrible thing. As he spoke the boy looked at Madi. He looked her right in the eye. There was no hiding from his face, the sort of face that haunts dreams for an eternity and causes the lingering question "Could I have done more? Could I have saved him?". It was the face of a boy, afraid to die. And calling out to his last hope... Or was he hopeless...?:: She bit her lip, nor did she speak. Quickly without a moment to lose, she removed her crimson red jacket that she always seemed to have on her. Now with just her tanktop on that she wore originally she gently attempted to use her coat as a type of badage, wrapping it around his injured wounds. She knew for a fact she probably could have done more to save him, but this is as best as she could do. She attempted to tie the arms of her coat together tightly but not to hurt him more. This could also be a difficult task, but she tried anyways. "Please Uriel...don't do this..." spoke Madison quietly as she countinued to tie the 'bandage' up. She had remembered Uriel, the man who once tried to take her home as what was happening to this young boy. A sense of selfdoubt flowed over her, one that would cause the greatest of doctors to just give up. Her paws stopped moving for a moment and she looked at them, they were cold like the rest of her body, her chest felt heavy and had difficulties breathing. Quickly she shook her head from side to side and knew that this wasn't how it was going to end, not for this boy anyways. Her hands soon grapsed around the boys hands and she looked at him, with more confidence as ever. "You won't be taken away, I promise you....Now I'm going to have to move you...and it may hurt alittle" Her voice sounded a bit coarse, but still as kind as ever. She slowly let go of one of his hands and moved her arm to the underside of the boy's knees. Her eyes fell on the distance between herself and the tansporter, it was only a few mere feet. She could only wish to know if she'll be able to carry him to there. Or for that matter, to get him an actual doctor.

Was it because she had had the nap in the late afternoon or simply the first night in another bed? However, during night Lucind woke up for the third time and had enough of rolling around from one side onto the other. Sitting on the edge of the bed and staring in a daze on her bare feet she thought about what she could do now. With a hearty yawn Lucind stood up, slipped into her plain, wide fitting trousers, her dark green pullover and the boots. As quiet as possible the woman left her room and walked to the hot spring, leaving her shoes at the entrance to not soil the ground. It was nice being surrounded by the wafting steam while the Half-Siren sat next to the spring, leaning against its low border, cheek resting on forearm. Droplets and trickles creeped up her hand, which hovered over the surface, low water spirits wound herself through her fingers. This was nice...soothing...tiring... " ...! I really fell asleep, tsk. Unbel-" She turned her head towards the door, her ears twitching. No, must've been an illusion. Time to return to my bed.When Lucind opened the door, though, she directly saw the opposite door at the end of the hallway falling shut. No sound of footsteps? Would've heard them even if someone had come out of one of the first rooms. ... Ah well, whatever, I should really sleep now - and not play with the idea to do a nocturnal stroll...By the time the had finished this thought she was already wearing fur coat and scarf. A few seconds later she made her way barefooted (carrying the boots under an arm) towards the monastery's front door. * * * What had Hul said? The temperature dropped drastically during night? Right now Lucind only had one proper description for that: ******** cold. Still she kept on dashing carefully through the wood, the scarf hiding half of her face, amber eyes contrasting to the black fabric and gleaming in the moonlight which fell through the trees. Even if the snow muffled most sounds walking through it caused at least a faint crunching - which was more than enough for her ears. And she wasn't blind, too. For a split second Lucind had thought to make out black robes fluttering in the distance between the trunks. But finally she gave up and leaned against a cornifer. No matter how much curiousity pressed for finding out what was going on it was still impolite to sneak after someone whose motives most likely were absolutely harmless and reasonable. Or something like this. Lucind hugged herself and looked up at the moon. Maybe they're still celebrating...Every 28th day the Siren praised the full moon and everything else what they found worth being praised. After a formal rite they sang and danced, had good food, wine, listened to tales. She hummed the beginning of a very popular song for this feasts.

He let out a loud groan as she lifted him as he strained to hold back a scream. There were two choices in his mind. Death or Pain. They werent pleasant choices but he choose the later. Images of his life flashed in his mind as he was lifted up, and to the transporter. For the moment the cold had nulled the pain and his bleeding had slowed thanks to the once open wounds being given the opportunity to try and "mend", though not completely. His blood level was still dangerously low, but he was stable enough. The vibration of the engine literally shook his insides causing a great deal of pain but it was necessary pain. And the extremely fast movement toward...somewhere, caused alot of cold air which made it quite difficult to stay concious. But from his half concious state as he looked back behind the bike to where he once lay dying, and where a black cloak man once offered him death....his eyes shot open with a fear that causes hearts to stop. Though luckily his heart didnt. He wanted to scream! But he didnt nearly have the strength, all he could manage in a frantic and somewhat panicked voice was...:: I-I-it has wings!.....He's coming!...Fast!::Maybe it wasnt so easy to cheat death.::

The movement didn't stop, she kept going. Faster and faster, trying to get the boy to safety away from the wings of Death. The cool rushes of air passed and hit her face causing her to have difficulties to see. But she had a good feeling on where she was going. After a few hundred meters the sight of the Black Hospital was in sight.
Relief soon fell upon her as she drew closer knowing that Death was still on their tails. So close and yet so far some would say. But Madi still had to keep her game up. Few more meters passed till finally she stopped nearly a few feet from the door. She looked over her passenger to make sure he was alright.
"You ok?" She smiled reassuringly, without waiting for an answer she ran towards the large iron doors on where a large dent was from her visit. Her paws smacked once or twice against the dark doors making an echo sound from the inside. She wasn't sure how the doors worked but she countinued to try.
"For Godsakes! Please...someone just open the door!" Screamed Madi in a desperate act. She was frightened, she could feel it. Fearful for this boy's life, she countinued to smack the door with her paws. Quickly afterwords she looked back to see how her patient was doing yet again. Scuttling over she looked into the boys face to see how his concious levels where doing. Obviously, not so well.
"Stay with me! Come on!" pleaded the young rabbit as she started to snap her fingers infront of his face trying to get his attention back in focus. She whined alittle in a moment of panic. Hopefully, someone would open the doors.

Silence no more. Broken by the first tune, the endless silence disappated as the forest seemed to be filled with the low sound. There was no mistaking it, someone else was here. And as he knew it to not be any of the monks at this time of night, it could only mean one of the guests.
He turned around, going back the way he came, his movements slow, obvious in no rush. "Who's there?" he spoke out, his voice an audible whisper into the night, clear over the soft humming which drifted inbetween the trees like a spirit.

"...."
The humming stopped, though not at once. So he had been indeed very close. And what else could she have expected in this deathly silent area than being heard even at some distance?
Lucind pushed herself off of the tree and, pulling down her scarf, walked around it, revealing her presence.
Calmy watching him approach the woman spoke with her voice quiet and low: "I didn't mean to disturb. I apologize."

"Who are you?" he asked, his voice ever quiet, as he had some sort of odd tugging feeling that he knew the features on the woman's face. Without his own mask on, still in hand, the best he could do was let the cowl of his robes shadow his eyes. His lips were a line of neutrality, revealing nothing.

The same odd feeling was nudging her mind, maybe even since feeling this unnatural bone chilling cold. It was like the feeling she had back on the Merchant's Ring when facing The Destroyer - only that it was much weaker now. And this voice...
"My name is Lucind Varhetel. ... I think we passed by each other last afternoon in the monastery."

:: Oh he was close. Close enough that you could feel his breath drawing in even if he was invisible. Madi might even notice the amount of snow being pushed back by the flap of his powerful wings as he gained momentum. And see the score marks of his blade missing in the snow.
As Madison careened to the doors, strangely they had already began to open. And as moved to punching him, the audible sound of footsteps growing closer from behind her became clear. He had no reason to fly, he could walk.
There was silence for a few moments as the doors continued to creak open. They were quite heavy, and thusly moved quite snow thanks to the morning frost. She spoke but the poor person was locked in a fearstruck gaze at what was happening.::
Bam!
::Madisons paw slammed into the door. And the footsteps drew closer.::
BAM!
::Madisons paw slammed again, and you could footsteps grew even closer!::
BANG!
::Her fist impacted the door, just as it reached just open enough to fit a small person, but not.::
RIP!
::Rip!? Yes rip, as a large hand of some giant beast reached through the opening in the door and grabbed Madison, and thusly the person she was carrying at the same moment and pulled them into a pitch black room, just as the door slammed shut with a thunderous boom.::
SHINK!...clink.
::Was heard as if some large blade slammed into the steel door, and was jerked out. And then silence...for all of 10 seconds before the voices began in the dark.::
Maxvell! Emergenzy room immediately! Keep zhe preszure on his ribs! Go!
::There was a pause.::
....Very good little rabbiton. Very good.
::A group of shuffles were heard and a light whirring as a pair of footsteps ran off in a distant direction, taking the "Patient" from Madison's grip. Again there was a moment of silence before Madison was attacked!
Some soft warm creature who smelled a bit like formaldahide grabbed her and squeezed oh so hard with its thin arms, and then spoke.::
You did it! Madi you did it! I'm so sorry we had to ignore you but no one wants to go out on rescue duty the first time...but you did it! I'm so happy you made it back!
::Alright, so maybe it wasnt an attack as much as it was a hug. And maybe it wasnt a monster as much as it was Mary. But thats beside the point...
Mary was just very happy to see her right now, and to hug her. And Marcel...well he did his "Marcel" thing.::
~~~Meanwhile~~~
::300ft outside the tower, a mulititude of emotionless voices echoed as one, as they spoke to what seemed to be the wind.::
Yes...yes as you predicted she only needed proper motivation. No. I left no evidence. Yes. The 7th Division of the 1st Judas Sect is now active. I will. As you wish.
He bowed his head slightly in acknowledgement and began to walk back to the monsatery. As noted before by Hul, he was a very quiet individual, not big on words.
She watched him walking over. Weird man. Weird situation. Should she say anything else? Was it wise to do so? Lucind remembered Hul's indirect warning. Still...
"What's wrong with a man's face that only the moon is allowed to see it?"
He paused, standing with his back turned to the woman as he spoke his answer, or rather, he countered with a question of his own. "You wish to see my face?"
Was it so true that only the moon looked upon him? Something inanimate which never shied away from his gaze, where everything else did?
"I've heard nobody knows what it looks like. I've heard you're called Sorrow. Maybe because of this pierrot mask."
Maybe also due to the coldness which had a trace of grief mingled with it.
"Yes. I'd like to see your face."
"..."
He reached up to his head with his left arm, the long sleeves of his black robes falling over his fingers as he lifted the cowl up and let it fall to his back. The gleam of silver hair reflected moonlight as he turned his head to look over his right shoulder.
Sharp facial features lined his face, his skin a pallid white, and pure mercury orbs bore into the woman's soul, or rather through it, and going on through the tree she stood in front of.
He said nothing, but waited for the woman's reaction. No hint of emotion or expression on his ice carved features.
She blinked when saw the white hand reaching upwards. There, on his knuckles. This metal plates. She knew only one man with those marks.
Silver hair bathed in the moon's rays.
"What is it with my luck of having contact with dead people? Or rather...people said to be dead," she mumbled. After all she had heard, all information she could get after the stadium's destruction - and for what she had seen with her own eyes - the Half-Siren thought to know some things: He had been there, down in the center of the arena. He had had something to do with the mayhem, the bleeding stone. Like Vahn, Sunstrike and some others, he had vanished, his body like those of the others was never found. And while some hoped to hear something of those lost one day, most people involved in the investigation about the stadium were convinced that they were all dead.
She swallowed hard when his eyes met hers. Her breathing accelerated. She clenched her teeth and stared at him, the spiritual strain being written all over her face.
Finally, still holding his gaze - if this was even possible with him looking through her-, she said: "It has been quite some time...Kraun."
