Yes, I'm a band geek. 5th chair in the good band, but only because I don't try. (We have a good band and a bad band. Even the directors call them that. xd )
It would be really awesome if we went to the same one. We'd have to arrange to hang out and meet each other in main camp or something. biggrin The uniforms do suck, I'll admit. You can't wear black pants. gonk Jeans work though, and so do skirts as long as they're blue. I'd suggest looking for a skirt or two early because they can be hard to find and it's really hot but you can't wear shorts. gonk
Oh, I just remembered that you said your elective was theatre! I had a theatre elective the first year I went to BLFAC. That was a really fun elective. You mostly do improv games, but it's really fun. I'm not taking an elective this year, during the elective periods I usually sleep, shower, or sit on my bunk and draw like a lozr.

One of the problems with dressing as a victorian half the time. You look fancy, but it never works for a uniform. I dunno... I might do theatre, but if it costs too much... eh... *head-desk* My scholarship went down this year, which got me in a really bad mood last night when I found out. I didn't have any time to prepare anything for it, and I had a fever at the time, too, so I sounded like crap. So I only have a $270 scholarship for this year. WHICH SUCKS, because I still had a $470 one I could have used. (They TOLD me that it wouldn't take the place of my one from last year! BUT IT DID!)

About the elective- Actually, if you're worried about the money than I suggest that you not do it. I mean, electives are fun, but trust me, Blue Lake's schedule is exhausting and it's hard to find time to shower and nap, ect. I only took an elective my first year and while it was fun, I ended up eating all of my free time up taking a shower. You get a teensy bit more free time if you don't have an elective and it's nice for napping and showering. Ultimately, it's your decision though. 3nodding Personally, I like the extra free time.

I don't want my summer to be as rushed as my school year is sometimes. XD And free time is always fun. X3 Got mahself lots of Gorillaz stuffs, designer clothes, and uberly-bruised feet. (and a loss of about ten pounds, methinks!) )
