Kaleb wiggled a bit closer, hoping Reno was telling the truth about not leaving him. "I-I really don't think I'm cut out for this job." He said in a quiet voice that would only just barely be audible.

The mage frowned a bit. "I-I'm not a kid," he said, with something that was almost irritation creeping into his voice.

"Well you're a new one of us .. so that makes ya a kid." He grinned as he spoke. New ones were always called kid. Even Rude had called him kid for a while.

Kaleb huffed a bit, not looking at Reno, but not making any moves to pull away either. Even if there were a legitimate reason, it still irritated him simply because he had been called a kid pretty much his entire adult life.

"Oh." Kaleb paled a bit, he certainly wouldn't willingly expose himself to blood, and he would never use his magic to hurt anyone. He would probably be stuck as the kid in at work group forever.

Kaleb frowned a bit as he glanced up at Reno. "I-I've been trying to grow out of it for at least ten years now." He was just too small, and couldn't put on any weight as either fat or muscle. That and wizards usually lived a long time, so he had no idea if he would ever start to look his age.
