Sounds like a plan to me! I, too, am new to this area, so I'll let you lead the way.

He smiled slightly, thoroughly enjoying his time with Fai. Today was proving to turn more and more into a good day, rather then the chain of boring and uneventful days he had been doomed to have lately.

So, Fai, uh... I guess, tell me about yourself? How boring, WhiteMage. Way to sound all proper and prissy. I mean, uh, well, you know. It will make time go by faster... You're on a roll! Now he'll think you're already ready to ditch him.

WhiteMage sighed. He was not a social butterfly by any means.

At WhiteMage's question, Fai couldn't help but widen his eyes with hesitance. He had never told anyone of his past, not even the ones who were traveling with him. Fai laughed sheepishly while twitching his ears.
" Hyu, now what is there to tell? I'm nothing more than a humble magician searching for a new home." He was about to continue, but stopped when he heard another kitsu bound their way.

"I'm sorry to interupt, but would you happen to know where we are?"

Fai couldn't help but giggle to himself. "It seems we are all lost, aren't we? I apologize, but I am new here myself."

The words of the playful magician made her laugh a little, "It seems that way," she replied. Though she didn't quite get the answer she was searching for, she felt reassured that she was not alone in this getting lost business. Turning her head to the other kitsu with the robe, she answered politely, "My name is Haruhi, nice to meet you. And thank you guys for your time." With another charming smile, Haruhi bowed at the waist, thanking the two for their time.

Peviting her body around, she searched for her earlier compaion. It would appear as if he disappeared. Holding up her hands in a gesture suggesting yelling, Haruhi tried to form words that she didn't know. She didn't even bother to ask for his name yet, thusly calling out something she didn't know wouldn't turn out very well.

She wanted to ask around a little more, but everyone seemed so...lost in their own worlds, too. Sighing to herself lightly, she knew by now her friends would've left and went home by now, probably worried sick about her. Why didn't they call my cellphone? She wondered. At that thought, her eyes widened at the idea of calling her friends first. Her paws anxiously searched for her little phone. Where is it? Gah, great time to lose your phone now. If she had that device, she could at least call her friends and they could track her down somehow.

Without that device now, she weaved her way out inbetween the many groups of people gathered in the room. In the open outdoors, she spotted her earlier companion and quickly ran to his side. Trying to catch her breath a little, she said, "I asked someone, but he didn't seem to know either."

The difference from inside the HQ and outside hit him in the from of a cooling breeze that ruffled both his fur and feathers in a relaxing way. Taking a breath of fresh air he turned his gaze to the sky. "Time to find out where on earth 'here' is."

The familiar voice of the kitsu from before suddenly rung lightly in his ears as he turned his head to spy her approaching. "That was fast." He spoke. His ears twitched slightly at the lack of information, but what could he do? If people didn't know, they didn't know. Scratching his head lightly with his paw he shrugged. "I'll go look around then."

Summoning up a little of his energy he pooled it at his feet and used it to boost himself into the air, showering the ground where he once stood in black feathers and sparkling purple dust, a side-effect of sorts from his mystic energy. All that was needed then was a few flaps of his good ol' wings and he was airborn, climbing slowly in an attempt to fly above the trees and get a glimpse of the terrain.

The slight blast of wind sent shivers down his spine. Not to mention the slight tingle of magical energy. Fai quickly looked toward the source to find a kitsu take flight with its dark wings. Fai's eyes narrowed, he didn't know why, but something about that kitsu seemed, different, to say the least. Not knowing whether it was friend or foe, Fai kept a cautious note to mind about the kitsu.

Shaking out of his little inspection, Fai followed WhiteMage through the orchard. He had to agree with the kitsu, the scenery was very calming, almost heavenly. So much different from his icy home. Fai smiled and enjoyed the warmth of the sun on his fur.

Leveling out a far height above the trees the kitsu remained stationary in the air, bobbing up in down with every flap as he surveyed the area. He must've been too out of it when he first came cause he didn't remember anything that he saw. The immediate area was coated in trees, but beyond that was mountains in every which way and plains, and just about every other natural feature you could think of. He flew out of view for a few moments swooping just above the tree tops for one last look before returning to the air right above Haruhi. Keeping his wings horizontal with the ground, he ceased flapping and floated gently down to the ground, landing with a soft thud.

He approached the waiting female slowly, slightly annoyed at his findings. "Nothing but the usual. Trees, mountains, anything that mother nature could come up with. But nothing to determine where we are." Sitting down his tails seemed to flick with annoyance as he glanced around the area just in time to see the 2 unknown kitsu walk off. Paying them no mind he kept silent as he tried to figure out what to do next.

Sighing at his words, Haruhi was at a loss as to what to do. This certainly wasn't a dream, or at least it didn't feel like it. Not only her friends, but her father as well must be worried sick about her. There wasn't much either of them could do, though. They couldn't very well tap little red slippers wishing to go home now.

"It'd probably be best if we stay within this area for a little while. It's slighly crowded inside, but it's better than no shelter." As she headed indoors, her tails flicked about with annoyance. This place was almost like the school itself; a giant maze.

With a large yawn, she huddled away from the masses for the time being, curling up against herself. She rested her chin on top of her paws, slowly drifting off to sleep. At least there was shelter, and it wasn't that much different from sleeping on a futon.
