"You're being a selfish a**, Ogami." Aki called to him from inside. She sighed, and settled next to Kasumi, pulling a small vial from her pouch, filled with colorless liquid.
"And hello, Yuki." she said softly. She gave her a welcoming look, and unscrewed the cap on the vial, pouring the substance, which was slow-moving, like honey, onto two unbandaged fingers. She gently spread the mixture on Kasumi's forehead, in the kanji for 'health'. It seeped immediatley into her skin, leaving no trace of it behind.
"There... that should help at least a little." she murmured, rubbing her own forehead.

"What drives me? I suppose...Kasumi does. I strive to become stonger, to help Kasumi, although this little event may have not shown it. I always strive to become stronger, regard;less of the consequences. Then...theres my mother's final words. "I want him to have a better life than me." Even in her womb, i could hear those words, sadly, I will never know what kind of life she had." Ogami said, as the moon fell over the horizon.

"Clearly you wouldnt understand, because you've never loved anyone.. Kasumi loves me, but i hate to show love, especially for her. Tahts why i ignored her and continued with my "training". Ogami said looking at Kasumi's cold body.

"Not know love? You my friend don't know love. I tried your tactic once, and all I have to show for it is this ribbon." Ryu pulled out a lightblue ribbon that had bloodstains on it. "This is all I have to show for her love. I ignored her, yet she still loved me. Then one day, I was ambushed, and was fated to die by a flurry of shuriken. She stepped in the way, shielding me. To this day, I'll never figure out why she did that when I was so cold to her." Ryu put the ribbon away. "So, I pledged my life not to see something like that happen again."

Ryu's anger sparked for a minute. "Don't you ever say that about her. As for Kasumi, she just waited out here for you, and almost died."

"Look Kasumi may be only 17, but she has an IQ higher then that Nara kid back in Konoha. She isnt stupid enough to show herself in battle, she uses strategic plans to ambush the enemy. Those mikibishi stars, have tiny exploding notes on them capable of leveling 3 city blocks each. Her tactics are falwless. As for her nearly killing herslef, that was her choice, she worries too much when i do this."

"Ogami isnt one to show much emotion, unless you insult his wolves or his parents." Doku interjected, wrapping the bandages around his head. "If you wondering aboutt he bandages, it prevents my breath from escaping, creating another poison mist."

"Ryu, i'd implore you that you not talk about wolves in any manner in Ogami's presence, he doesnt take talk about wolves from others to easily, even from Kasumi." Doku said, finishing the bandage wrappings.
