Apples to Apples is a card game. You have red cards that have noun words such as Mary Poppins, Dudley DoRight, Football, Science, etc. words on them, and green cards with action words on them like crazy, silly, abnormal, showy, etc. Each person gets 5 red cards and then one person out of the group draws from the pile of green cards to read it and then place it down on the table. The other members try to match the action word with a noun from their deck. The cards are mixed up so as to not know whose card belongs to who and the person who drew the green card decided which red card best fits the description. The red card that is chosen gets the green card. You go around in a circle so everyone get a turn to turn over a green card and read it. After each round, everyone, other than the green card drawer, gets to add another red card to their deck to make it an even 5 red cards again. The first person to get 6 green cards is the winner.
I hope that made some sense...

I love Apples to Apples! mrgreen Our family loves to play that when we have guests around.
Cranium... well, I'm sure it's a fun game, but only if the players are of the same age. sweatdrop (Cranium is pretty much a trivia game that includes a lot of player involvement)

KaramBoard, you've got this thing (like a hockey pick) and you powder that big wooden board, and then you have 3 different coloured wooden hockey pick things. The plain ones are worth the least, then it's the pink/red, and then the one black one in the middle. Basically, you pile them up, in a pyramid or whatever, and the board has 4 holes, one in each corner. The aim is to take your thing and FLICK it into the middle (from a line that you have) and try and get some of those things in the middle into the holes. You do that until the board is clear. The one with the most points wins.

Do you mean hockey puck or hockey stick? ^^; Sounds a bit confusing. I think I'd need to see it being played to fully understand. blaugh

eek OH! I know what you're talking about! We have one of those! It's a slippery board with plastic rings and a hole in each corner, right?

Yeah, except, in the one that I used to have, the board is only slippery after being powdered, and we had wooden disks. And yeah, holes in every corner.
