Miyoko nodded, hitting another ball into an empty pocket. "Actually, that guy was my brother, Ryuji. And his girlfriend, Lacuna," she spoke softly. "Mum likes having them both around, and when Lacuna's not around, neither is Ryuji, and vice versa," she told him. She leaned over the table, examining the placement of the colored balls intently.

"Oh, they must be very close then", he said thinking on how nice it must be to have someone. Shrugging off unwanted thoughts, Hedon returned his attention back to their game. "You could hustle people out of tons of money if you continue on this way", he said pleased with the girl's effort.

Miyoko laughed softly, blushing as she hit the cue ball against a red one, but it barely missed the pocket and continued on it's way, knocking against another wall before it slowed to a stop. "Apparently, my luck's run out..." she mumbled in defeat.

"I don't know about that", he said. Hedon used his index finger and thumb as an angle while he shot, angling the cue stick perfectly as he aimed it at the cueball. Using little force, Hedon knocked in a green ball. Patting Miyoko on the back gently as he walked around her to another spot on the table he watched the girl with a devious smirk on his face. Foolishly clanking the balls together he missed his second shot. Hedon grinned, he wondered if the girl would know he missed purposely.

Miyoko was too busy staring at the man to notice his purposeful mistake. She let out a little sigh, squeaking happily as she danced around the table to stand beside him. "My turn again?" she asked enthusiastically, leaning across the table to examine the placement of the colored balls.

Hedon smiled, pleased with the good company. Nodding after a few moments he took a sip of his lemonade. "Yes Maam, just don't hurt my game too bad", he said.

Miyoko erupted in giggles, shaking her head in disagreement. "Don't worry about it," she said, hitting the cue stick against the white ball, which knocked two colored ones into the same pocket. She giggled, bouncing on her feet.

Looking at the table Hedon grinned. "Only a few more left and it looks like I'm out of luck", he said. Hedon heard a faint sound in the background. Palming his face in disappointment, a shimmering lilac and green dust danced wickedly around the table. All the balls seemed to disappear into the pockets. With a frown Hedon crossed his arms across his chest. "Chizoko...!", he growled. Hedon's fangs made themselves present as he snarled. "We have a guest", he said pointing out Miyoko graciously.

Miyoko was about to speak when she noticed the dust. She looked to Hedon, her eyes wide and confused. "Ma- wait," she said, looking at the man with her head tilted. "What's... that?"

"That is my biggest regret", he snarled in the nymph's direction. Shaking his head and sighing, he calmed himself. "Chizoko is a nymph from my home realm, he's rather- well, he's a trouble maker of sorts", he said.

"I see..." Miyoko mumbled, looking towards the nymph's direction. "Well, he can't be all that bad, right? With such a cute name! Chi-zo-ko," she sang lightly.

Hedon raised a sarcastic brow and shook his head in disagreement. "Just don't instill too much trust in him, he's rather devious." Chizoko flew around the room more, when he was about arm's reach from Hedon he stopped. Smiling awkwardly the little nymph stuck his tongue out at Hedon and sprinkled a bit of sneezing power over his nose before disappearing once more in to the house. Sneezing rather loudly Hedon frowned. "Sorry Yoko", he said simply thinking on what must've been running through the young woman's mind.

"What an interesting thing~" Miyoko cooed, glancing towards the direction where the small nymph flew. "Anyways," she spoke, turning back to him with a bright smile.

"Yes, moving on", he said in agreement. Hedon pulled his long flowing hair back into a pony tail and grinned. "Want to see the downstairs?" he asked gesturing for the girl to follow him.

"Ooh! Absolutely!" Miyoko cooed, bounding off after him, her hands clasped behind her back. Her soft feathered wings fluttered slightly with each of her animated hops.
