I say that's a pretty good idea.
1. People who are less confident will be more encouraged.
2. I'm sure by 500 posts they'd have to improve somewhat. If they were a hopeless case, they wouldn't have made it in the guild in the first place (to put it rather bluntly). smile
3. It encourages more activity within the roleplay.

Aw, I thought I had a good idea. then again, someone could always get 500 posts spamming up the OOC chat, and then that wouldn't be fair, would it?

NOO! At least you're literate in the OOC chat!
I think I came up with an idea to solve our 'class' problem. What if people sign up for the class? Once a set number of positions, (like ten maybe) then the class is underway. Once it ends, those people graduate and the class is open again. We coud do an announcement about it too; basically stating what classes are still open and which ones will be starting. People will have to check a lot though.

Sounds pretty good. The problem is though, it'd be a pretty long while that the people would stay in that classroom thread.
Also if you could, keep the Classroom suggestions and comments in the new Subforum that's been made, that way we can navigate through the suggestions and comments easily.

Suggestion
I suggest we have a "Hang-Out" thread in the Off-Campus Subforum. That way, it'd be easier for newcomers to find a friend to RP with. Reason I left before was because I didn't know anyone and didn't have anyone to RP with. So let's make it easier for newcomers, a spot for them to meet friends easily would be for the better.

I really like that idea. The only thing is, if people joined the guild just to be in the guild, it might not work. It's worth a try though.
I have a few ideas of my own.
A seperate thread just for Star Tests. We could have members come up with different situations (I have three ideas for different star tests) and run one every month. People have been craving a test, so we could run it and an event at the same time.
I also think that the dorms should be reworked. Who mentioned roommates?

I still think there should be roommates... and not just when people decide to room with their friends. Forced friendships or um enemyships can be good.
I also really like the star test idea. I think it would be fun to be in a star test, but I haven't gotten the oppurtunity... So I think running them with various situations would be a good thing to do. :]
