Together, they wandered in between houses and various other buildings. Her clothing attracted more curious looks than it did back in Veilstone, but the people here were polite and kept whatever they might have thought about it to themselves. Eventually, Arisu and Piplup reached the outskirts of the town. Spotting a patch of shade beneath a tree, Arisu flopped down in it, sighing contentedly. Wriggling on her back to get comfortable, she manoeuvered herself until her face lay within one of the patches of sunlight that pierced the leafy branches.

Lv. 4 Hp 20/40 Male Personality- Mild Tackle- 25 The Shinx stumbles from the force of the blow, growling as he regains his footing. Once he's back on his feet, he charges forward with a Tackle.

Piplup was knocked to the ground by the Shinx's tackle, but hopped upright again only seconds later.
"Piplup, hang in there," Arisu called, concerned. When she saw that Piplup was okay, she gave her next instruction. "Use Growl this time - we don't want to make it faint!"

The Shinx seemed momentarily unable to attack, and Arisu was likewise frozen - torn between using a potion on Piplup, who wouldn't survive another hit from Shinx, and trying to use a pokéball to capture the weakened pokémon.
Making her decision, she threw the pokéball, hoping that it would work.

The Shinx vanished into the Pokeball, struggling for a moment to free itself. For a while the Pokeball wrestled on the ground, before it eventually lay still.

A wild Starly peeks at the two from the treetops above. Spotting what they were up to, it was immediately intrigued. With a chirp, it fluttered down to investigate.
