[Random Slythern student]

Some random boy bursts into the dorms, shouting about some one having petrafyied and levitated flich in the main hall.

Said boy ran into Faith's and McKenzie's room, "Someone has petrfied Flinch and levitated him in the main hall!"

McKenzie whiped the blood from her nose, standing slowly. She walked up behind Faith, standing close, but not touching her. "I'm not afraid of death." Her voice was a whisper as she trailed her fingers up the back of Faith's bare legs and rear before giving her a** a firm slap. She walked around her and laid down again. McKenzie wasn't sure why she had just touched the girl in that way, but she figured if she was doomed to die anyway she might as well try to have fun.

McKenzie shrugged as she closed her eyes. "No matter... I've had my fair share of blood spilt. You'd think I'd be used to it by now." She yawned and drifted off into a light sleep, plauged with nightmares.

Mikia had crawed into bed and fallen asleep allmostassoonas she entered the dormnot even botheringto change, she slept through thevoice yelling about flich, and didnt awaken again untill morning.

*Faith's sleep was restless, as it's always been for the past two years. Her nightmares seemed to plague her mind the very second she seemed to close her eyes. She dreamt above running through a thick blanket of trees and bushes, trying to escape the creature that was chasing her. A shrill howl filled the air. Her foot caught on a fallen log and she fell to the ground. As she rolled onto her back she could see the creature descend upon her, it's blood-red eyes glowing amidst the darkness of the night. Faith sat up with a start, sweat running down her skin. She clutched her chest where the pendant rested, groaning as its magic burned her flesh*

Jack enjoyed the feast, he quickly found who was going to try out for the quiditch team. He was the returning captain for the Gryffindor team, so he was definatly on the team. He had heard that someone was already seeker, but he couldnt seem to find him at the feast. After conversing with old freinds for a while he headed back to his dorm. He looked around the room and there were only two beds, so apparently he was only sharing the room with one other guy. He looked over to see him already sleeping and recognized him as the third year from the boat. He sighed to himself and wished he could be more open with everyone, because this boy was too cute, cuddled up in the sheets with his stuffed cat sleeping in a hammock. It just made him want to go over and hug him, but he knew he had to keep his cool and be the dominant alpha male who goes out with a new girl every week, otherwise his parents might find out about him, and what good would that do him.

McKenzie groaned and rolled over in her sleep, her body covered in a cold sweat as her dreams played out as they did every night. Visions of her past flashed before her, blood was everywhere, sometimes hers, but mostly those of others. She tossed and turned in her sleep, her mind finally settling on one vision. She was running through the cold rainy night, the yells of angry mobs raising into the night sky behind her. She tripped and stumbled over the country-side, looking behind her as the pitchfork and fire holding mass drew dangerously closer. A rock caught her foot and she went tumbling along the muddied path, lightening striking in the distance. She turned, only to be kicked in the face and onto her back. A silloetted figure of a man stood above her, a vague familiarity in his features. The hollars from the crowd drew louder as screams of "Kill her" and "destroy the beast" became overwhelming. The man before her raised his weapon and brought it down quickly as she screamed.

"Father, no!" McKenzie fell out of the bed right then, landing with a hard thump on the ground. She was breathing hard and shaking, the darkness around her disorrienting. She took some slow breaths before looking around, noticing Faith too was awake and clutching her chest. She cleared her throat a bit before speaking. "You okay Malfoy?"
