((Oh s**t! D: Flannery's going to be pissed! ;-; ))
Portabello cringed while conversing with Nitro, a cold chill ran down his spine.
"What is it shrooms?" The Charizard asked confused, tilting his head to the side, causing Felsic to nearly fall off.
I feel...I feel like Mike is in big trouble. The Breloom looked like he'd seen a ghost. I don't know for sure, but I think it has something to do with Flannery.
The color on Nitro's face practially melted off him. "Uh oh, Flannery has quite a temper, and if she's mad..." Nitro made a slicing motion across his neck with his claw. "It means bad. Real bad."

He'd been sitting there, in that same spot, for nearly ten minutes when he felt a gentle nuzzling at his left elbow. At first, he hardly noticed it, but as it got stronger, Keegan glanced over to see what it was. "Oh, Themis," he said softly. "I forgot about you. I'm sorry, buddy," he said, reaching out to touch the Electrike. Themis gave a bit of a yelp and jumped back, startled by the poor shape of Keegan's hands. "Oh this? It's nothing," the boy scoffed, and looked around for somewhere to rinse his hands. "Doesn't even hurt. Well, yet, at least. I've put myself in the hopsital before." The Electrike tilted his head, and gave a sympathetic whimper. "We should go," the boy sighed, and stood up. He lifted his bag from the ground, shaking it to check if he'd broken anything. He heard a rattling, and set the bag down, opening it to see what had been damaged. "Figures," he muttered, holding up two halves of a PokeBall. "I hate myself so much sometimes," he growled, and tossed the two pieces on the ground by the wall. "You wouldn't think that someone like me would have such a nasty temper," he chuckled, slinging his bag over his shoulder and signalling for Themis to follow.

The boy shook his head, snapping out of his trance. Kilik then pulled the small Metal Coat out of his bag. He thought for a moment. Rena gave this to me, he thought. He then shuffled around his pockets for Scyther's ball. "Scyther, get out here," he said, carelessly tossing the ball. The Pokemon appeared, brandishing its weapons as if she were about to battle.
"Scyth!" she cried.
"Settle down," Kilik told her, "Here, take this. You want to be the best, right?" he asked. He took his train pass from his neck and removed the chain. With a bit of a struggle, he managed to wrap the chain around the Metal Coat. "Take this for now. Eventually, you'll turn into a Scizor," he placed the item over her neck carefully.
"Scy...ther?" she questioned, looking at it and raising it up higher with one of her weapons. Kilik lifted up the Park Ball.
"Come on," he whispered, calling it back. The Scyther wore a confused expression on her face as she disappeared.

Kasiya and Mai sat in silence, after they'd ordered thier lunches. Kasiya only poked at her food, not really feeling hungry, while Mai watched, grinning to herself as she ate. "So why won't you tell him?"
"I have my reasons," Kasiya replied, having a sip of water. "Speaking of reasons, however, why are you here? I mean, surely you have all these responsiblities as an administrator of Team Rocket, right? So why are you wasting time here with me?"
"Even people like me need a break," Mai answered truthfully, crossing one leg over the other. "And besides, you wouldn't like the reasons why I was out here in the first place."
"Heh," Kasiya scoffed, shoving her plate away. "What, were you sent here to kill me or something?"
"That's not as far off as you think," Mai said flatly, looking away. She drummed her fingers on the table, wondering where Kilik had got to.
"What?" Kasiya gasped, her glass slipping through her fingers and crashing on the table, sending water and ice everywhere. "You're not even joking, are you?"
"I wish I was," Mai said, looking back at her. "But I'm not at liberty to discuss my objectives with you. And besides, I saw that you were in the area, and I thought I'd say hello."
"Right," Kasiya muttered, mopping up the water with a pile of napkins.

After a bit of a trek, Keegan found a small body of water, and he rinsed hs hands, thankful to be rid of the dried blood. However, now they started to hurt, and he realized he was shaking as he leaned over, soaking them. "Don't look at me like that!" he growled at his reflection, slamming the clear surface with one of his hands as he stood up, drying himself with his cape. Themis had been wandering around the water for quite sometime, looking happier than he'd ever been. As Keegan glanced around, he realized this had been the area he'd captured the Electrike in. "I remember that," he laughed, thinking about how the rash Pokemon had attacked them. "You really did a number on Helios that day." Themis looked pleased with himself as the two continued on their way to Mauville.

"So, you gonna take that with you or just leave it?" Mai asked, nodding at Kasiya's plate.
"Yeah, I'll take it with me," Kasiya said, also looking at it.
"It's just that I thought you'd be so terribly full after that bite of your lunch you had," Mai said, raising her eyebrows.
"Yeah, but I don't want to waste it," Kasiya replied idly, not really hearing what Mai was saying. "He looked so, crushed," Kasiya sighed, resting her head on her arms. "I feel so bad."
"He'll get over it," Mai said cheerfully. "At least he didn't attack you. That was probably a good sign." At this point Mai was having a piece of cheesecake for dessert.
"You always know just what to say," Kasiya sighed. "I wish you'd stop it."

"Well, we're here," Keegan said, as the duo entered Mauville. He glanced down at his Pokemon and held up the Pokeball. "In you go," he said, and the Electrike disappeared. "Now what should I do?" He glanced around, recalling that he once stood at this very spot asking himself the same question. "First thing's first. I'm gonna get my bike repaired." He headed east, where he knew he'd find "Rydell's Cycles". He hoped that it wouldn't cost too much to repair it, but he hated walking from place to place. "If it's cheaper to buy a new one, so help me I will!" he growled, slamming his fist into a telephone pole, which was soon followed by a string of curses.

When the earth around them stopped shaking Dante smirked seeing the massive damage his attack had caused the other side. The Magniton on the other side had just fainted from that attack alone since both it was all ready weak against ground attacks. The Exploud though managed to push it self up ready for more. "Good job Exploud! Now use Uproar!" THe purple pokemon nodded and started making a huge commotion which made Dante cover his ear's. Wincing he glanced over to Bahamut and shouted over the din at it. " Bahamut use your Crunch on that pokemon!" The dragon pokemon nodded and charged at the loud pokemon and sunk his teeth into the Exploud taking the all ready weakened pokemon down.
When the noise stopped Dante let out a relieved sigh and uncovered his ear's. The Cameraman and anchor women had put away there pokemon and were running up towards him. "Wow that was an amazing battle, to ad it didn't last longer but your Earthquake attack was spectacular!" The women exclaimed happily
Dante was somewhat taken aback and fingered his pokeball's nervously befor putting Shiva and Bahamut away. It wasn't everyday that someone seemed happy whether they won or lost.

((Hehe, thanks. ^^ Now my goal is to be moved up to the active list. >=D))
"Wow, that's a good plan." Ryka told Jaeshan with a smile. She then pondered about her own strategy. "Hmm, well.. I really don't know. I guess I'll just go with Twilight, Aurora, and Vixen, since Blitz won't do very good against electric types.." Ryka finished. "To tell you the truth, I'm really nervous." Aurora looked up at her trainer and let out a reassuring purr. "Yeah, you're right." Ryka told Aurora. "We'll do great."

"Try not to think about it," Jaeshan said, winking at her. "Remember what we talked about before? About wins and losses both making us stronger? No matter what happens, we'll keep trying, right?" Mightyena looked up at Jaeshan and tilted his head. "What? It's true," he laughed. He leaned back and looked out the window. The scenery rolled by, and Jaeshan could feel a slight build-up of anticipation. "I can't wait," he said with a grin. "It won't be long now..."

There he saw it, a large alpha female Magmar, he thought, Magmars were not so easy to determine the sex of. "Wow, it's even more beautiful than the ones back home!" Mike swooned, the fire Pokemon cocking its head to the side, confused. The boy blindly walked over to the egg patch, apparently too close.
"MAG!" A large fireball struck Mike square in the chest, sliding him back towards the opening of the cave, he was lucky his mother made him those clothes. "Hey! You wanna pick on me?" Mike shouted, his temper flaring. He looked down at his gloves. "How's this?!" Bending his wrist backwards, A rather large flame launched at the unsuspecting Magmar. It dodged to the side surprised, humans usually didn't know fire moves.
Hearing the commotion, Mike's Pokemon quickly rushed to his aid. Nitro spread his wings and roared fiercely, the boy holding his hand. "Portabello."
Nodding, the Breloom took one long look at the Pokemon, reading it's mind. She says that she's impressed, The Pokemon started, concentrating more. But to get her to hand over one of her eggs, you'll need to face her...in a one on one battle!
Mike gulped, he hoped she didn't mean him. Portabello shook his head. She said she wants the little one to fight.
All eyes widened, looking at Felsic, who was easily dwarfed by the imposing Magmar. The Quilava made no gesture, just hopping down from it's lofty perch on top of Nitro's head. Mike reached into his backpack frantically, nearly ripping something out. He bent down, tying the cute white scarf around his neck. Felsic looked down confused, then back at his trainer, who shrugged. "You never know."
Everyone stepped back, watching the two fire Pokemon get ready.
No help, she says. Portabello stated with a wrinkled up expression.

The female Magmar stood up straight, asserting her position as the leader of the pack. Felsic was a bit threatened, but wasn't about to let that Pokemon think that size was the only aspect of strength. Flaring up his pores, the Quilava exhaled a thick tar colored smoke from his skin, darting into the cover as the cloud covered the playing field. Hiding behind a rock until the smoke set in, he attempted to devise a plan to take down the Mamgar. Before he could react, a crushing blow struck him right in the spine, the female's foot. Using Faint Attack, the Magmar was teleported directly to the offending Quilava.
Catching himself on a rock, Felsic quickly retaliated with a Quick Attack, his new scarf glowing as the attack connected. The Magmar stumbled back more so than he expected, what was with this new gift? She decided not to play games anymore, shooting a Flamethrower straight at the Quilava, who used it's superior speed to evade the attack.
"This isn't good, she's much stronger than me!" Felsic whined as he dodged another Flamethrower. "I'll have to think of something on my own!"
Mike watched closely, trying not to burst in with help. He wanted that egg really bad, and this battle would be perfect experience for Felsic, win or lose.
Nitro restrained himself from stepping in, the flame on his tail burning with intensity.

Flareon talked momentarily with Weezing before the Pokemon hovered away, uninterested. The Fire-type blinked and Kilik had heard it; a massive grumble coming from the bowels of Weezing. The Poision-type knocked over a trashcan and began to munch happily at the contents it spilled. Kilik leaned forward and locked his fingers together, looking away from the Pokemon. He noticed a sign on the wall; a poster for the Pokemon League. It showed all eight badges of the Kanto Region. His eyes caught the Thunderbadge.
"It'll be mine, soon," he growled. Weezing munched and let out a burp before continuing. Flareon looked appalled.

I'll fight fire with fire! -so to speak. Felsic proclaimed, lifting up a large boulder using his Strength. Wobbling a little bit, he thrusted his arms forward, his scarf glowing once again. The stone rocketed forward, striking the Magmar square on the side of the head, causing it to falter to the side and rub her new gash. She obviously wasn't expecting the puny Felsic to be this strong. Magmar cracked her neck, not amused. Ready to pull out all the stops, she reared her fist back, flames enveloping the clawed appendage.
Felsic leapt forward, curling into a ball and rolling towards the angered mother. He too, became wreathed in flames as he sped off towards the Magmar. The two struck, a stalemate. The Magmar's pure strength and Felsic's speed caused the two to press against eachother, flames shooting in all directions.

The two made their way outside the tavern. They'd been there for quite a while. Kasiya held a bag that contained her lunch, and she looked around the city, feeling a little better than before.
"So what are you planning to do now?" Mai asked, getting her gear in check.
"I really don't know," Kasiya admitted. "I should get back on my badge quest, but I don't think I have the energy for it right now. I just feel so drained."
"Drama does that," the Rocket replied. "It's exhausting. I don't miss it." She smirked a little, putting her hands on her hips. "But you know, you'd get a lot of it off your chest if you'd just tell-"
"I can't do that!" Kasiya cut her off, her voice going up several octaves. "I just can't. I mean, I could, but it wouldn't make a difference."
"Well, you never know if you don't try," Mai replied simply. "How do you know it won't make a difference?"
"I..."
"I have to go," Mai said, taking a few steps forward. "The next time I see you, you better have told him." Mai reached into her bag and revealed a Pokeball. She released her Flygon, and climbed on his back. "Or else!" she called, as the two flew of into the horizion. Kasiya watched them go until she couldn't see them anymore. It was then a thought struck her.
"Or else what?" she yelled, even though it was way too late.
