A black form was sneaking along the underbrush, keeping as quiet as possible for her....which was just a few twigs snapping. After having let a few bugs excape her awesome predatorness...she decides to try and hunter bigger game.
The ground beneath her feet is dry, probably from the drought, but she stalks on...intend to catch SOMETHING.
There was a slight breeze, a miracle in the midst of all this heat, which ruffled her fur and sent a slight shiver down her spine. Usiku looked up finally from the ground and looked at her surroundings. It wasn't quite what she had expected, but lack of water will do that to a place.
The dark leopard padded foreward, no longer intent on hunting but instead looks for something to pass the time.

::Hodari paced a little infront of the eland, eyes still resting upon it. He licked his lips, lowering himself into a pouncing position...::"You belive that scared me...?" ::He questioned, ears lowering against his head as he licked his lips more.::

Mizaku lowered himself to the ground and getting ready to try this. He padded slwoly, barely making noise, if he was making it at all. His tail flicked a little, and then he sprang out, landing on the eland's shoulders. He tried to bite at her neck in hopes of acheiving the same as his mother. yes, he was only a cub, but razor sharp teeth was a great plus.

Oga let out a great noise. The cub had bit her! She felt a sting and a warm sensation trickling down her neck. She ducked her neck low to the ground frantically trying to throw the cub off of her shoulders. She was unable to use her horns at the moment and that was her greatest defense. She was thinking if she could only get the cub onto the ground, she could attack.

::Hodari took this opprtuity to pounce upon the eland as well, hanging on her back, digging his claws into her a little.::The little lion let out a small roar, bearing his teeth. Food..food...food! That was all he could think of was food!::

Usiku had been padding towards the location of the two cubs and the huge animal. The fact that it stood out amoung the surrounding bushes piqued her interested and she drew near, now hearing voices eminating from that direction.
As she approached, she saw one of the cubs attack the creature. Eyes wide, she ran over. Perhaps this would be entertaining enough...

Mizaku digs his claws into the elands skin, feeling the blood around his mouth. It tasted good...very good...he was so hungry...it encouraged him to hang on not only for his food, but for his life. He bit harder, trying to hang on with his mouth as well. He pulled and chomped, trying to manage some sort of success.

As the second cub dug his fangs into Oga's flesh, she let out an even greater noise and began flailing even more ferociously. "HEELLLPPPP, someone...anyone!" She had wished that she hadn't abandoned her herd so long ago. She was beginning to panic and was slowly going into shock.

Usiku had been planning on watching the struggle for life with renewed interest, but found her brows creasing together and a frown forming on her mouth. Well,...as much as this creature was food...it was still really aware.
Hearing the eland shout for help tore at her heart, making her more confused. This was just food, was it not? Then why did she feel the sudden urge to help her?
She walked foreward, so that the cubs would have to see her. "Stop it!"

::Hodari gnawed upon the spot he had latched onto upon her back, chewing a little and attempting to tear. The taste of blood was giving him the same rush his fight with Mizaku had earlier.. He simpley loved it! But.. He had to admit.. He felt a tad cruel attacking the eland...::

Mizaku glanced warily at the other leopard, his eyes widened slightly. He hadn't seen another leopard since his own family. But he couldn't give up know, especially since the eland would kill him if he let go. His heart raced, hoping she would give in soon. He swiped his claws at her ears and neck.

Usiku knew that both of the cubs, lion and leopard both, had heard her and was angry that they both chose to ignore her. Leaping foreward, she unsheathed her tiny claws and scraped at the hindlegs of the leopard, who seemed to be the greatest threat to the eland.
"Let go, you're hurting her!" The dark leopard still couldn't believe that she was helping a creature of prey, but fought viciously anyway.

Mizaku cringed from the slashes across his legs made by the female leopard. He let his jaws' grip release and cried out painfully, thoguh keeping his claws dug into the eland. He glared at the other leopard and hissed madly.
"YOU IDIOT! IF I DON'T KILL HER SHE'LL KILL ME!!" he roared, biting into Oga's neck again, "Stay out of this!" She didn't understand, he'd be killed if he let go...
