EvilSilverDragon IC: Isis was coiled in front of the fire in the living room. Her golden eyes were trained on her left hand and the ring upon it. She could not believe that it was even there and had barely taken her eyes off of it. It was a symbol that her Sei wanted to be with her, loved her enough, to wish to marry her.
After talking with her mother, she was feeling even better about it. This was the first time she had been still since she got the ring, if she was not dancing around in celebration, she was bouncing in glee.Dark-Jagan The chinchilla walked inside Isis's home. He was hoping she had said yes. He knew though he would find out today. A thin smile came over his lips as he looked to see Isis. "Isis!" he exclaimed excitedly, rushing over to the female. EvilSilverDragon Isis's head snapped from the ring on her left hand to the direction of her love's voice. A smile instantly lit up her face and she quickly closed the distance between them, hugging him the moment she had the chance to. "Sei!" She couldn't help but start crying tears of happiness as she told him, "I love you and I would love to marry you." She never would have guessed that she would get married, have someone to love her forever. However, Seijun proved the impossible possible. Dark-Jagan Seijun, happy at her response, hugged her happily. "I am glad Isis! I've been impatient on giving it to you, for like always, I have to take time to think on it." He giggled softly and hugged Isis once more. He never thought he would of been so madly in love with someone, but he proved himself wrong. The chinchilla sat down before asking, "How've you been?" EvilSilverDragon While in the hug, she softly kissed Seijun on his cheek. She nodded when he said he thought about it for a while, it was the best way to be absolutely sure of your choice. He had done so before asking her out, she was not complaining about him doing it with this as well.
When he sat down, she coiled next to him and told him with a smile, "Things were great, I got to talk to my mother and she helped me finally get over something that had still been nagging at me. Then, when I got the ring, my day became perfect." She lightly nuzzled his shoulder, beyond happy at the turn of events. Dark-Jagan Seijun nodded. "I see." He was curious about what she meant by getting over something that nagged her. "If you allow me to know, what is that something?" he asked shyly, scratching his neck. He affectionately nuzzled his mate back, for he to was in a good mood. EvilSilverDragon Isis was not about to add lies into their relationship. Looking down a bit she looked back to him, "It still hurt, what happened between Hide and myself and Zephyr. Don't get me wrong, I love you far more then I did Hide, but it still was a wound that would not completely close. My mother told me the same thing happened to her and helped me to realize just how glad I was that Hide did choose Zephyr because I have you." She kissed his cheek lightly and smiled to him still. Being able to let that pain fully go was great, and having him there was even better.
She just hopped her and Hide could still be close friends. Dark-Jagan Seijun nodded. He had remembered comforting Isis when she had been crushed by Hide. He was happy she did tell him, afterall, keeping secrets was bad. "I understand. Negative events from the past tends to leave someone incomplete feeling or negative for awhile." He kissed her back, and smiled warmly. "Seijun has expirenced sad events in his past. I think I've told you about my father." The chinchilla's ears drooped at the thought of it. EvilSilverDragon He was right; she had felt incomplete for the longest time. She was better now though, Seijun had made her feel whole, she just needed her mother's help to see it.
Isis raised her hand and she lightly caressed his cheek with the back of her fingers. "I remember, Sei." came her soft reply. With such supportive and loving parents, she may not know what it was like for Seijun to grow up with something different, but she could empathize a bit. In the back of her mind she thought that Sei would make an even better father because of it. Dark-Jagan Seijun smiled and nodded. "But you can't always dwell on the past, and have to get away from the sadness and be cheerful!" he exclaimed. He hated thinking of his past, and he used his happiness to cover it up most of the time. "Words of advise, as I should call it." He nodded and giggled at the light carressing. He couldn't help it, he was rather tickilish. >>; EvilSilverDragon Isis giggled and told him, "Great advice, Sei." All her life she would pretend to be happy no matter how upset she was, until Hide crushed her. Now she was happy because she was more then to cover anything up. Of course, she remembered he was ticklish and gave a small smile before lightly storking his ear, playfully using the knowladge that he found it ticklish to ticke him.

Seijun smiled. "Is Seijun good at giving adivce?" he asked. He scratched his head and laughed. His ears twitched from the stroking, so to respond, he stroked Isis's snake tail. He had no idea what else to say, so he was hoping Isis would say something to contniue the conversation.

Isis enjoyed the stroking of her tail and figured her stroking of his ear was not bothering him so she kept it up. "You do give good advice, Sei. It is one of the many reasons I fell in love with you, you are easy to talk to and often have sound and logical advice." She gave him another kiss on the cheek and wondered why he sometimes goes back to talking about himself in the third person. Refraining from asking, she just took what came as it came.

((*giggles* It's a habit he can't completely break! o3o;; ))
The ,ale continued stroking the tail, not even noticing it. Seijun couldn't help it, lately, he didn't notice how he talked, majority first person, ocasionally third. Smiling brightly, he responded, "R-really? You're making get a big ego, Isis-kun!" His cheeks turned a slight red, but vanished quickly. "Many reasons? How many?" he asked curiously. It was a silly question as he thought of it, but he didn't realize he was this special.

ooc: I guess, how long to you think it will take them to get close to being literal mates?
IC:
Isis thought it was cute to see him blush, with the blush vanished, she went on to answering him, "A little ego doesn't hurt, Sei, but I'll be careful." She was teasing for the most part, a bit of an ego and self confidence were not bad in the least.
Starting off like a sonnet, "How shall I count thee ways? I could count off ten at the top of my mind, but there are many more I discover each time I am with you." She lightly nuzzled him again, the figures of the hand stroking his ear lightly running through his hair around the soft fuzzy ear.

(( ^^; Seijun starting to break from the habit though. He's saying it less and less, the more he talks, so whenever I don't think it's needed the ocasional 3rd person, I'll make him stop completely. ^^;

He nodded. "I'll have to be careful too!" he exclaimed. He tilted his head, thinking if anyone else could help with growing his ego. "I'm scared of getting a bigger ego! You compliment me too much it seems! I should be the one complimenting you, Isis-kun!" he laughed, and hugged his mate.
"There are many reasons I fell for you, too," he responded, "but I'm not good at remembering things at the top of my head." He was interested in hearing the ways, but maybe it was similar ways he fell for her. He made a purring noise from the nuzzle, enjoying the time he was spending with Isis.

ooc: Yeah, I have noticed the breaking of the habit a lot.

IC: Isis chuckled at Seijun happily hugged him back. "You don't have to compliment me." A habit she picked up from her father was why she complimented so much. Her day always said to say nice but truthful things to others and have a reason why you said it ready to be used.
Hearing that there were many reasons why he fell for her caused her to blush lightly. She admitted to herself that she was curious as to what they were. There was nothing special about her; however, she did not say that out loud, people don't like to here you speak badly about yourself. "Thats okay if you can't remember them. It is enough to know that there are many there. Would you like to hear a few of mine?" At the purring noise, she giggled again and continued to nuzzle him, she liked the sound.
One of her hands lightly brushed against his tail, the soft texture was a delightful experience. She did wonder if they counted as mates, and remembered that her mother and father called themselves mates before they slept together. Her mother started it, from what her father had told her before saying she was too young to know more. Should she try to start something and see if they were both really ready? This was enough for her, though she'd admit she would have enjoyed a few more kissed then whats passed, but she was happy. Maybe she should wait?

Seijun shook his head. "I should!" He had never complimented anyone so much, it was his father's fault, as he convinced himself. "I guess I just don't deserve so many compliments because I never received any in the past." He sighed, hugging Isis.
He nodded. "I'd love to! I was thinking about asking you, though I was scared it'd be such a hassle to think and remember them all, without repeating." He continued his purr, guessing she enjoyed it.
His tail twitched, it was still most of the time, and feeling something or someone touch it, scared Seijun for a second. He wasn't sure if they were ready, he would wait for Isis though. >_>;

Isis heard his reason why he didn't think he deserved them and thought the exact opposite, "I think that means you deserve to hear them more, I always got them growing up." Feeling so comfortable and safe in his arms, she did not want the hug to ever end.
Glad for her father's teaching on never saying something without back up, "Don't be afraid to ask me anything, okay Sei? It is no hassle, I'll be glad to give you a few reasons. First off, you are sweet and caring. During and after my problems with Hide, you were always there for me. We enjoy the same types of games. You took the time to really think about if you truly wanted to be with me, rather then string me along. One of the most important is that you really love me. I feel like I am safe around but, at the same time I also feel like I can be strong." She had to chuckle a bit as she added further, "You can stand being around me and my hyperly playful self. The tenth reason, your affectionate and don't mind me being the same. I'll even tell you one more of the many, your a good person."
As if to prove her point, and because she really wanted to, she leaned to kiss him on the lips. She had figured that he didn't like that form of affection to much because he had stopped giving it and always went for the cheek. Never wanting to do something Seijun didn't like, it took quite a bit too actually do it since she had been telling herself to refrain for a long time. When your mother is like hers, some influences are just passed down.

Seijun nodded. "I suppose." He finally broke away from the hug and grinned. "Atleast not from one person though!" he exclaimed.
Seijun started to count the different reasons on his fingers. "One.. two, three, four, five, six.. Gah! Those are a lot of reasons." He chuckled. "Many of those reasons are similar ones to why I love you." He smiled once more.
Seijun blushed once more feeling the kiss on his lips. He dind't mind it, he actually liked it, but he never knew if Isis enjoyed it like he did. He leaned down and kissed her back on the lips.

She loved to hear that her reasons and his were similar in a lot of ways. Even in the kiss, she chuckled lightly when he had called them a lot of reasons.
Absolutely delighted that Seijun had kissed her back, she put her arms around his neck and leaned with him as she savored the kiss and keeping up her side of it. She didn't feel as guilty, going for what she wanted, with him returning the affection.

Seijun was confused why she chuckled, but didn't say anything. He was enjoying the moment, and decided he didn't want to ruin it.
The chinchilla wrapped his arms around her like a hug. Not being able to help it, Seijun slipped his tongue with the kiss with his mate. He wasn't caring that much of what he did now, or atleast didn't think of the poosibilites of what would happen.

Isis's lips parted to allow his tongue without a moment’s hesitation. After talking with Kori and finding that her forked tongue was not what most anthros, she was a little worried about how he would react. In the moment, she just went with it and let what come, come. Her tongue joined his and her eyes shut.
One of the hands around his neck threaded into his hair gently and rain through his hair a bit.

Seijun didn't care about the different tongue. He closed his purple eyes as well. He pressed his warm body completely against the female's, absent-mindely. He curled Isis's hair around his finger.

Isis slightly coiled a bit around him, completely loosing herself in the kiss. The warmth of his body pressed against her, and the power of the kiss, she completely forgot about breathing. She did discover that she could still kiss and breathe though her nose.
She was also not complaining about him playing wiht her hair one bit.
