The series is going to end without killing Naraku or collecting the jewel shards.No one gets together at all,and it's a total rip.It was still totally awesome with the Koungsouhah attack(like a new attack Inuyasha learns after the band of seven) and it's like so sad...The part where Kagome had to hold onto Inuyasha while standing in acid having her flesh up to her ankles being eaten away...After Inuyasha used his Kounsouhah attack,Kagome then fainted and there was a dramatic scene.They returned to the village blah blah blah...The last scene is a Kag/Inu scene leaning on each other.Kagome says that she's glad to be with Inuyasha,then Inuyasha,though mentally,admits the same thing.xD.
Inuyasha's father doesn't have a name.The title Inu no Taisho is translated as 'The Dog Lord'.It was his title,being the most powerful inu demon of the western territories.They never mention his name,and in the ending credits it casts his character as 'Inuyasha's father'.
You can find the continuation of the manga at www.ear-tweak.com I've been lazy to read it though.

I saw all four movies and you didn't. xd And I've seen most of the series anyway.You have not seen Inuyasha until you've seen it on the big screen with surround sound let me tell ya. biggrin

It's stretched over two episodes.Number 166-167.The fourth movie was to end the series completely.But I signed a petition to bring it back so I dunno.A lot of people in Japan and in America wrote their reasons why it should continue.I've seen rumors that they're thinking about returning it after they let the manga continue on for a while so they have something to go on.
