Our show this year is called "Fiddler on the Rooftop". My brother says that's the song Gwen Stefani did a remake of as "Rich Girl". I never knew that.... As to everyone else, your shows sound so awesome! Good luck this season!

our show this year is "Clocks" .... damned if I know why or band director picked that topic, but.... our (the low brass) part is really easy, but the higher parts, like clarinet and flute.... they race like crazy.... it's insane.... for them *evil laughter* ah, so fun comparing music... theirs is impossible.... and ours is cake.... though still decently interesting-sounding

Ours is called "Mass". I think it's based on some musical or something (because of some wierd circumstances, I missed all the early summer practices), and it's about Catholic masses. I think our BD might be getting into some sort of religious groove. Last year our show was called "Pursuit-Peace-Praise" and had Abram's Pursuit, It Is Well, and Intrada. confused

We finally got our show lineup the other day. We've actually got 3 shows planned for this year.
Band Camp Show: "Blockbuster" Phantom of the Opera Incredibles TBA<--don't know yet Star Wars<--w00t!
Show #2: "Potpourri" Accion Lassus Trombone Just a Closer Walk Cute
Show #3: Homecoming/Senior Show How the West Was Won Whiter Shade of Pale To One Another
Normally we have 4, but the band schedule is realy screwed up this year cuz of budget cuts stressed .

Our show is Colors of Earth. Its kind of like an African jazz theme. I like our show last year, we did Latin Nights, with Los Suerte De Los Tontos, Bolero, and Malaguena. This year is Appalachian Morning, Full Circle, and Puma. The timing is riculously hard, but it looks brilliant and it should pwn all the bitches at competition. Did anyone else by any chance play in the 2005 Nokia SugarBowl Halftime Show?

All of these shows sound GREAT. Our band always does a tribute to some music group or another... My freshmen year: A Tribute to Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing) My sophomore year: A Tribute to Earth, Wind, and Fire (In the Stone, September, Boogie Wonderland) This year: A Tribute to KC and the Sunshine Band (Songs TBA)
We all would love to do a themed show... but our director loves his tributes, I suppose. gonk

The show is called "The Gates." It's based off the song "Of Heart and Voice" which our sym 1 band played last spring. It's a beautiful song and it's so long we can make a whole show off of it. xd
