Kyraa watched William and the boy, her eyes widening a bit as she continued studying wind magic. He wrote a note on the front desk asking questions be directed to him. Giggling, she asked "Oh? And what about the people who work here? Do we get to ask questions, too? Teehee!"

Poking her head from behind the stacks Las just sees the feet of the boy who was speaking so freely about the society. Abandoning her post for the time being the young woman watches Cryllia's office carefully as she approaches the front desk. Greeting Kyraa and William with a slight nod she laughs a bit at the sign. "For your sake I hope no one needs help, William. Where do you think that kid learned of it...? That seems a bit, well, odd."

Katane chuckles quietly, leaning against a bookcase.
Some secret. Everyone knows, it seems.

Kyraa placed her hands on the desk, fingering a book idly. "Yes. And it doesn't help to hear people talking about it so loudly. It's quite worrysome. I mean, it is very private."

William discreetly took down the sign. throwing it in a trashcan.
"I really have no clue. It's not like we put a 20 foot neon sign that says, "Societas Romu here, 'Boxians welcome." william said, idilylooking at a nearby bookshelf.

"Oh, don't we? We seemed to have a sign for a post office worker helping in a Library. You just never know." A giggle escaped the redheads lips and she smiled at her Kitsune friend.

Kyraa "Oh, don't we? We seemed to have a sign for a post office worker helping in a Library. You just never know." A giggle escaped the redheads lips and she smiled at her Kitsune friend. "Eh, the post office is dead right now, so I decided to take a long lunch. Then that newb decided to run at the mouth so I thought I'd try and cover for Cryllia." William looked at his friend, a wry smile on his lips. "And that would be Postmaster General, my friend...Of course, I'm the only employee of the post office, so it is a rather hollow title."

Weston enters the Church Library, stunned once again at the number of books collected by the Church. He waves at Lasreaine, Katane, Kyraa, and William, and fills out a library card application.
Name: Ian Weston Age: 24 Address: First Church of Mod
He places the application face-down in Cryllia's inbox, then goes looking for books on mysterious occurrences - specifically portals, and creatures that can create them.

William aknowledged his friend Weston with a smile and wave, then went to the Arcana section for a book on Clerical spells, such a Turn Economist or Dispell Enchantment, or the ever popular Ensnare.

Las grinned right back, amused at the idea of a neon sign. She waved at West as he came in, leaning agaisnt the counter. "Postmaster General, manager of bins of unclaimed mail. What will you do with it all if no one comes to retrieve it?"

"Eh, I either sell it on the marketplace and donate the profits to the church, or if it it really valuable, I'll put it the "who do I belong to?" case in the office." William said over his shoulder.
"You wouldn't believe the some of the wierd stuff I get that needs, um, Basement Storage, if you get my meaning. I have to sign for at least five crates of alchohol a week, it seems."

Trying not to laugh Las succeeded in only snickering. "That doesn't really surprise me, though it is highly amusing." In her first week at the church she had seen many a bottle drained of vodka and the like.

Katane laughs as well, a wide grin on her face.
Maybe I should start up a "Historian's Office" or something like that. Have people bringing threads and info to me, instead of having to hunt it all down. There's an idea.....

*listens to the hastily whispered chatter of the folk. Ah, it's probably another surprise party or something nice. The Modists are such sweet folk. She sits back, reading Twin-Tail Stew and other Kitsune Recipies.*
