-when in class u can say every single word to the movie
- when ur brother catches u pretending the phantoms behind u while watching 'Past the Point of No Return'
-hearing ur bro sing 'Prima Donna' cuz u've watched that movie so much

you sing Phantom so often now, ALL your peers know the musical (including that teacher that you hated!!).
You take the ink blob test and all the pictures look like something from Phantom.
Because of Phantom, you know want to be in the musical......even if you can't really sing.
EDIT:
You post a topic like "You know you're obsessed with POTO when.." or "Everything I needed to know I learned from POTO" and the threads are still going on strong lol.

you teach yourself how to play phantom music on your keyboard

The opera "Faust" and PotO have nothing in common. You know you're an obsessed phan when you make it your job to draw people pictures of their Gaia avvies and Erik. And when you contemplate covering your binder in picture of Erik for the beginning of school.
