Iah would have responded if he could.. but being petted has been such a rarity to him before that it had quite a distracting effect on the small feline. He was able to keep his feet mainly by bracing a hand on the door, even though the attention made him a little wobbly. Eyes closed at the touch on his hair he instantly started purring, a light rumbling sound from his chest and thraot... god he loved attention...

Erthe smiled slightly, he was usually adverse to being touched by people, but it was different when he knew them, he wasnt as cool and wintery when somone was concidered his friend. And Casumi was definately that to him. She was somone who he had known for quite a while, since she was rather small at that.
"I'm glad you like them Cassy," he stated with a small smile,
"They're not anywhere close to being a pretty as you however.."

Asher chuckled softly as he continued to pet him. He found himself tempted to hold Iah like any house cat and just pet him. All of it was innocent as he shifted himself again to be more comfortable before he did just that. He pulled Iah into his lap just to continue to pet his ears.

Casumi blushed a tiny bit, the tinge of pink kissing her cheeks.
"They're smooth." She said softly, shifting her gaze from his to his scales. She kept one hand on the scales while she kept to the rick with the other.

Ereth smiled again, chuckling lightly at the blush.
"They work well for me.." He stated with a small smile,
"I have to go and fetch somthing, just waif for a moment.." With a little nod he slipped back off the rock and sunk out of sight.

Iah purred again, finding himseld near to Asher, and then onto his legs.. it was lovely! His feline side completely taking over he curled up slightly, trying to push his head up against Asher's hand to encourage him to carry on the pettings. He really loved this kind of attention..

Casumi seated herself on the rock, watching the water curiously while she waited and tried to get rid of her blush. The blush was sudden and she didn't dwell on it for to long as she played with the water and her toes.

Asher smiled all the same as he continued to give the feline affection. Okay he couldn't help it. He was getting a passion for felines. His mate was cat and a beautiful cat at that. Even this one in his lap was wonderfully beautiful.

Erthe was down below the surface for the water for quite some time, the water was still, calm.. but eventually he did re-appear again, his hair slinging to his shoudlers again as he pushed himself above the surface, moving back towards the rock, somthing held in his hand.
"Sorr that took so long Cassy.." He said with a warm smile again.

Iah carried on purring, everything was a little bit of a blurr as he was petter. In his mind though he couldnt help but with this was the tall, dark haired man that he had fallen in love wit that was giving him this kind of attention... Jiro had just never been interested in him.. but right now even that worry didnt bother him so much.

Casumi smiled as she kicked her feet a tiny bit in the water. "It's okay. You said you'd be back and here you are."
Her tail swayed a little bit as she smiled to him, liking his warm smile.

Asher wondered how far the feline's past relations were like. It was a natural curiousty as he seemed to soak up all the attention Asher gave him.
"Have you never been given such affection before?" He murmured softly.

Erthe smiled slightly more as he looked up at her, resting his arms back on the rock, pushing his hair back out of his eyes again, long and water logged as it was.
"Indeed I am.." He stated quietly, before holding out his hand to her, a woven silvery looking chain resting over his fingers with a dark blue stone hanging from it that caught the sunlight. It was startsone, or blue goldstone as it was somtimes called, rather pretty in all honesty.
"I thought you might like this.." he stated with a small smile to her agian.

Casumi looked at the necklace, her expression serene if full of surprise. She reached for it with a gentle hand as she looked at it more.
"Erthe...it's beautiful..."
She carefully unfastened it and placed it around her neck, hooking it together and adjusted her hair so the chain wouldn't be caught in the hair. She smiled brightly to Erthe before she leaned in to kiss his cheek. "Thank you..."

Asher was convinced that he and Rin needed a kitty now...a pet kitty. Maybe they could keep this one? he thought, having little doubts n** at the ends of such thoughts.

Daqueri's Musings...
Daqueri sat, with his feet flicked up onto the back of the sofa, glaring out of the window. He had been annoyed as hell for the past two days, maybe three… and at no one in particular, in fact at least ninety percent of the anger was now directed at himself.
He wasn’t supposed to miss people.
He didn’t do tied down.
And he didn’t damn well want a stupid monogamous relationship.
So why did he feel so lonely every time he looked at his kid…?
Why did he feel so… stupid… every time he saw one of his friends, Phenn, Alva, Aspen… going out to meet up with their mate… even Ocean had his sights on a companion for life… so… why didn’t he..?
Because he wanted to be free of course!
That was easy!
Having a mate tied you down! You couldn’t just be with who you wanted to be! You had to be who they said you were, do what they said you had to do, go where they said you had to go! It was stupid, it was lame and it was the last thing he had planned for his life thank you very much!
But… the little voice of reason said… if it was so bad… why his friends all looked so happy was quite beyond him…
Shifting slightly he let his eyes shift up to the slightly dreary sky. He wrinkled his nose, wrapping his arms around himself as he eyed first his own bed, which seemed horribly big right at this moment, and then his son’s crib. The young boy had started sleeping better now, waking less and needing fewer hugs during the night, this meant, however, that Daqueri, who had gotten used to the erratic hours was missing company all the more now that he was spending so much time awake and alone.
He was beginning to realise that he was going to have to face the fact that he had been trying to ignore for the longest time. So much so that he had simply viewed it as an entertaining notion that was only there when he was struggling with his son…
The notion that he not only missed… but was beginning to like Vanilla on a more real level than he had ever bargained on before.
The white feline had told him himself that he was beginning to feel something for him… but he had, at the time, been absoloutely adamant, as when they had first started ‘spending time together’ that he didn’t want anything more.
Now, as he lay moodily staring at his sleeping baby, he realised that perhapse this wasn’t quite the case any more…
That perhapse as he was being forced to grow up there was something more that he wanted in his life than a good time… there was more to it that just sex with anyone and everyone…
Maybe… maybe he did want something long term, with someone steady. Someone that he already liked… someone fun, and really dang hot…
He groaned. He wasn’t meant to be talking himself into this!
God.
He was going to have to meet up with Vanilla again soon, just to see if these stupid feeling would go away…

Marki was curled up in an armchair, his slightly tufted tail laying over the arm of it was swaying back and forth as his large furred ears twitched back and forth as his thought, a pen trapped between his teeth.
He was taking notes, well, notes on ideas really, he wrote a lot but inspiration always tended to come in bursts rather than being reliable. Regardless, when he'd been back home he'd done fairly wel and had comepleted a few books, usually trashy romance novels. He wasnt actually a soppy romantic at heart, but they were fun to write and light hearted to read.
He'd been here in this odd place for a while now, he just didnt usually bother going outside, but today the squabling children in his house and caused him to decide that going out was the best option, while outside was cold and out of the question itself, so this strange building that seemed to be some kind of general meeting place with rooms around it and a kitchen was a good idea, it was warm for one thing. He'd forgotten his coat as well.

The Doc came walking non-chalantly through the forest. His boney tail swished around behind his form. He couldn't believe that he had so many people around like Yun Hee and Ryuu. Oh how he loved the young looking ones like them. Pushing his glasses up his face, he looked around for maybe something he could do. What he really wanted to do was continue his experiments, but he had no subjst at the moment. "Hmm I wonder what lovey person I could use. Too bad I have no child around that would be willing. My son left after I did that to him, but that is alright. He deserved it." He spoke to himself as he continued to walk towards the shop. Maybe there was something of interest in there? If not he could always go animal hunting for a specimen. It didn't matter what it was as long as it was alive. Letting his hand reach for the shop door, his other hand slid into his pocket and he let it rub the needle he had in there just in case. He also had many other needle's in his suit coat, but they were for drastic measures. Turning the knob, he opened the door and walked in to see a male sitting down on a chair. Oh he was a fine specimen indeed, but he didn't know how he would get this one to come with him. He could make any person feel magnificent once they succumbed to him like Ryuu and many others did. The question was would this male before him resist?
Walking over to the male, he flicked his hair over his shoulder and smiled to him. "Hello there. What is a cute little thing like you doing alone?" He asked with a fake smile brimming his lips while his eyes scanned over the male's body.

Marki had looked up as the door opened.. well now, that was an.. uh.. interesting looking person. He quirked an eyebrow, one ear flicking forward as the other guy approached him. There was somthing off in his air, the way he smiled, his eyes...? Marki wasn't exactly sure, but he wasnt stupid either, and he knew when to trust his instincts.
"My face is here you know...?" he stated, one brow still quirked,
"If I had boob's I'd at least understand the lack of interest in it, but still," his lips curled in a slightly lopsided half smile,
"He curled up a little more, his tail still swaying back and forth as he peered at the other male, his purple eyes not leaving the other's face.
"I'm honestly not sure what I want to make of the flattery, because from my experiance it usually means that the flatterer wants somthing.." he stretched out a leg.
"And I'm here alone, for the record, because no one else in my house was mad enough to brave the cold.." he chuckled.

The Doc looked back to the male's face and laughed a bit. "Oh I'm sorry. Sometimes I can't help the beast side of me. It works on it's own sometimes." He said with a slight wave of his hand. "If you had boobs I would of acted differently towards you." He nodded simply before looking around the room and then looking back to the boy before him. "Oh I don't want a thing from you. All I want is to know your name and maybe a little about you. Is that too much to ask? I'm not looking for any kind of sexual gratification either." He told him and was speaking mostly the truth for all he wanted was to get to know him. He did want something from him, but not anytime soon. "Aww that is ashame. I think the winter is beautiful. It's my type of weather." He told the boy and was only wearing a suit with no kind of jacket at all. it was rather weird since it was cold out, but he was so attune to it that it didn't really effect him at all. "I see you don't have a coat. Might I ask why?" He said with his bone wings flicking open on his back.

Sionae was still unconvinced about why she had actually decided to get up this morning. She'd been up later than she meant to messing around and playing cards with Florien. She'd probably drunk a little more than she should have, and was altogether not certain why she'd woken up a good two hours before lunch time. It just wasn't normal. But, as she was awake she'd decided it was better to make the most of it and had gone for a walk to kill some time before heading off to wake her intensely camp sibling up. He'd kill her with rainbows if she disturbed him before noon she had the idea. Still, it wasn't a bad morning, the air was cool, but not cold and the sun, though not as strong as it might have been in summer was shining. The lake sparkled invitingly as she walked along the edge of it, but she knew that crystal water was colder than it looked... going for a swim was not going to be the best option she'd had in a while... still, the walk was good and she actually felt it might be perking her up slightly!

Libelle was trying to while away the morning as he usually did, threading his way almost silently between the tree's of the forest that his home was placed near. It was dappled with the late morning sun through the now slightly sparse leaves, but it was ever so pretty! He was a morning person, up before the sun after usually relatively little sleep, but that didn't matter, there was always something to do to while away the day, even when there weren't any people back at home to talk to... not that he talked to that many of them anyway really, but they were there if he wanted to talk to them! And most of them were rather friendly! This morning however was cooler than he had thought it would be.. and he could honestly say that part of him was greatly wishing he'd brought a coat!

Maiya walked from her home with light footsteps as she tried not to wake any terrifying animals because she had no protection. She had to learn to deal with those things herself nowadays and hated that she was all alone. She locked herself away in her room with books and fabric spending most of her days reading or making new clothing for herself. It was a boring life, but she found no happiness in the outside world anymore. She met no one that really lifted her spirits and tried her best to get over her childhood friend, but she never could. Sighing deeply, she patted down her dress as she walked towards the lake. The only spot she found refuge at on the outside world, but it brought back memories of her time with Tsukiko when she nearly drown in the lake. "Why can't I forget about her?" She said lightly and barely had a voice anymore from her life of solitude and sometimes drew a blank on how to even speak which wasn't good. Even her mother tried to get her to talk everyday, but all he got were blank stares and had to have help by Dai. Seeing the lake from where she was, she noticed a female by it and didn't know if she should go over now. She walked slower and felt that if she pretended to be invisible this female would disappear. That was her objective after all. To be a ghost to everyone.
Dai seen Maiya walk off towards the lake and was about to follow her to make sure she was alright, but decided not to this time. He put his hands in his black sleek jacket happy he wore one today because the chill in the air was enough to freeze him into a statue. He looked to Maiya one last time before walking the opposite way into the woods flicking his tail behind him. He was more calmer nowadays that he felt what heart break truly is like. He was left for another women which made things worse for him and he hated knowing that Mei was probably happy with her. He would never go back with her because of what this all did to his daughter Aiko and he had been trying to care for her ever since the accident. "5 kids, 1 divorce, 1 heartbreak, and one child I don't see." He said lightly and really wished he got to know his son Sage, but was happy with only knowing Ryuu. He walked slower and sighed more wishing he had the time to meet someone new and probably wouldn't settle for a women now that he seen what she was like. Naoki was even better then her sadly. Much prettier in his opinion because of his personality. Shaking his head, he spotted someone walking in the woods without a jacket in this cold weather. D: He walked over to him slowly and blinked some. "Aren't you cold?" He asked and didn't really care how odd it was since it came out of nowhere.
