It seems that every time Marshall's good friend Gaius goes through a change, he isn't far behind. And this time is no exception.
Marshall wakes up with a familiar itch on the back of his good arm and a high fever. Everything seems so
hot!. You're hungry, you're uncomfortable, and you feel miserable. And... you could swear that you've put on weight.
By midafternoon, the tightness of your pants makes it very obvious that you are indeed gaining weight- and faster than makes any sort of sense. It's not to any ridiculous level, but you've got a bit of a paunch. Then... the feathers. They begin to rush over your body everywhere that they hand't been previously.
Your left arm then starts to hurt... a lot. More than your injured arm in fact - (whose pain seems to be greatly reduced now that you think about it) - as it joins your other hand in reduced maneuverability as the skin overtakes your fingers. Your big toes, meanwhile, shrivel even more. A pain at the base of your spine flares as a short, tufted tail emerges.
Finally, your small bill grows, making your entire face feel as if it's being put through a press. The bone grinds and your nose presses closer to your new, longer bill.
