Lena nodded, "The Daishizen have records of all of them...her name, Talpa's of course, and several others. I think that's where I heard it from..maybe from my Great grandmother's time...."
Cye looked at Dani, talking out, "But why would she rise up here...or a warning come flying through window. None of that makes sense at all..."

The voice camefrom the doorway, within it stood.... a childlike fifteen-year old, stormcloud grey eyes within an elfin face-
Of them all, Dannin perhaps would recognize this as Shade, the shade that had lived in the ancient past, not the Shade they had all come to know as a twentysomething looking woman.

Her eyes had dark circlesaround them, as if she had lost a great deal- sleep and otherwise- in the very recentpast.
Instead of shoulder-legnth ebony hair, hers fell to the floor, despite the high ponytail it was in, and her lean figure carried a softness that the older, more warriorlike version of Shade lacked. The only true similarity was the black-grey of her clothes, and the piercing quality of her gaze.

Yuki returned quickly to the building. She didn't feel right about leaving at the moment. She needed to talk to these people even though she did not like talking. With a deep breathe, she knocked on the door of Ryo's apartment.

CyberianTsuinami Yuki returned quickly to the building. She didn't feel right about leaving at the moment. She needed to talk to these people even though she did not like talking. With a deep breathe, she knocked on the door of Ryo's apartment. Shade started, whirled, and planted her back to a wall, with an almost battle-line habit.

She waited paciently for someone to answer the door as she thought about what she could say. The obvious thing would be to ask for Ryo or Dannin since they were the ones that actually lived here, but she did know a lot about the previous trials of the Ronins through Rowen. Maybe she could act like an fan. No, not a good idea. Then she thought, "I'll just ask them if they wouldn't mind taking an anonomous poll." With a plan in place, she busied herself creating an ice clipboard to write down the answers to the 'poll.'

Dani Hibiki Dannin chuckles a bit, "Shade-chan, this isn't a battle ground, that's a door knock, I promise, I won't hurt you." Ryo walks to the door and opens it slowly, "Can I help you?" Shade shook her head. "Gomen nasai.... you might say I just came from the middleof one, so please, forgive my reactions-.... Dannin. You've grown up." A sad smile. "I hate to do this, but can I stay with you for the next five or six months? Or at least until I figure a few things out?"

Meanwhile, Ryo shruggs at the stranger, "Uh, sure, but I just got back from America a few weeks ago, not sure how much help I'll be."

"I'm sure that it will not be a problem," Yuki said trying to keep a strait face. She needed to look serious in order for this to work properly. "What do you think of the uprising percentage of women being named Tsusuki? Do you think that it is a proper name for women?"
((OOC BTW, I have been trying to see what Tsusuki (this is the right way to spell it; the Japanese language doesn't have a Tu symbol only a Tsu symbol) means in Japanese, but I can't find it. Does anyone know? BIC))

Shade looked over at Siberian, her eyes narrowing.
She replied to Ryo first.
"I... just need some time to get a handle on a few things, Dani, perhaps, would understand... I appreciate your kindness."
she backed a step away from the door.
"Why don;t you just tell us who you are?"
That last was cold voiced, and directed at siberian.

"As I said before," Yuki said as she appeared suprised by the intrution of this new female. She recognized the lady's face from her former life, "my name is Yuki Tsuinami, and I am a door-to-door poll taker for the company I work for." This was going to get good. People from the past were arriving.

Shade streightened, seeming to regather wits befor leaning a little too casually against the doorframe.
"Nice try. Though that may be your real name, it is not your real occupation, is it?"
Her simple clothing gave her a strange appearance- the softness in her figure was not relfected at all in ehr eyes or her voice.

Ryo goes to open his mouth, but snaps it shut when Shade speaks. Dannin isn't sure if she should laugh or just ignore the whole fiasco at the door. Finally, Ryo fumbles some words out of his mouth.
"Will you come in?" he says, "this sounds like it's about to get complicated."
"If Kay were here, it would be," Dannin says.
