Rikah yawned.. Emotion. Viktor was the only one that truely recieved anything from her unless it was anger.

"Nothing new...Viktor had already told me... but you know." She pulled her hair back some... Her bright blue eyes too look at him as he pulled over. "I wasn't made an Elders advisor for anything... I think like you, in aspect about it. " She started. "I don't want to loose feelings either, but look at what we are, we're feared by most humans. Silly emotions can gt not just you, but all kindred into alot of trouble. " She tilted her head to the side. "I'm not saying love is bad..."

She seemed to clentch her fists. "Because it's not... I'm the youngest in the coven, and I used to think thats why Viktor took me. But its not. I never knew... what it was to love. I was born like this... pure. Your parents were inlove." She started to head into hs life with it. "One a vampire, and the other human. It's ..." She sighed.

"He saw what I was capable of. Eclispe. Your a strong leader becasue you can feel, but you can't let that get in the way. I'm not saying don't love her... But she's human, and unless she becomes one of us, it's going to be a fobidden love." She gave him a small smile.

"I mean, since she's human she can feel all emotion, and there fore as you know, she's capapable of exposing us at any time. You need to embrace that... we'll live forever, and one day, she'll die...."

The pack in the alley was nervous, Ordanni could smell it. Behind all the stress, angst, and human stink of the city their fear still sliced through it all like a knife. He leaned up against the wall, watching the fools pacing back and forth in rags. It befit their ambitions, simple warriors that would sacrifice themselves at the drop of a hat for whatever their leaders told them to die for. It was no wonder the vampires wanted the lycans wiped out, the vast majority were little more than a cancerous growth of mis-shapen zealotry and mange, draining the resources of the surrounding area quickly and stirring the human cattle to stampede.

If only he had been able to stay one of those cattle, he could simply ignore the whole pointless dispute. The vampires weren't much more when one really thought about it, just a different manifestation of parasite. Both were simply vessels for disease, just like rats in the days of Rome, worrisome, but they would burn themselves out quickly enough. History remembered those who made change, and he would go down in the books as a key assasin who helped bring down one threat or the other. The only question was which.

Ordanni pulled his suit straight, wanting to make certain that his image was distinct from theirs so the vampire contacts waiting in the shadows wouldn't mistakenly strike him before the others were dead. Both hands sank down into his pockets into two sets of odd wirework. The flesh on his hands rippled up around the frames, creating claws, lined with points of silver along the strips of non-living flesh. One tool of many, one simple way he advantaged himself over his common bretheren.

He advanced towards the nearest lycan who gave him a surly look and ambled up to him, attempting to make himself look big enough to pose a threat to Ordanni's massive musculature. "This is our territory lawyer, you gotta pay the fine to pass throug here."

The muscles under Ordanni's clothes moved and hardened slightly, sprouting fur and expanding. Just a few more seconds, let them move into position before the killing began. The other young lycans moved around the back, helpless to change without the moon's nurturing perversion as the encircled Ordanni.

The leader piped up again, "Hey, you listening? Give us the cash or we're gonna have to get ugly." One of the men behind Ordanni moved in, just close enough. Timing was the only issue now. "We'll peel ya real slow, get a knife up under your skin, start in the stomach and work down, peeling your ...."

The fool's speech was suddenly interrupted by a scream as Ordanni's arm dislocated itself in an unnatural act of reach and neatly slashed off the arm of the lycan behind him with his silver tipped claws. As the man staggered Ordanni's other arm whipped around and grabbed him bodily, pulling him off the ground and using his body as a club to beat the young lycans around him away from.

"Get on your feet! The b*****d's a bleeding vamp!" The leader said, scrabbling backwards along the ground.

"No, I'm worse." Ordanni's words came out garbled as his face elongated, seperating, and twisting into eight thick tentacles. His eyes flushed a deep red, overtaking the yellow coloring of his normal eyes. The voice that escaped his mouth was now little more than a guttural alien rasp, "Tell my bretheren the price of their betrayal is not paid yet when you see them in hell."

Adjusting her things around her shoulder, she sighed a little. Maybe it wasn't the brightest course of action to go running out with a succubus, but she trusted her right now, and she need that sort of trust to keep her going. Walking down the hall, she headed speedily for the front door, grabbing her keys and heading outside, not really bothering to lock the door. Maybe they'd leave her alone if they thought she'd been killed or something. Who knew.

Once outside, she spotted the succubus, walking to her car and unlocking the trunk. It was a modest 99' Ford Contour Sport, enough speed to keep her going, and spacious enough to allow her to fit her things inside. Shoving her laptop and some clothes, and a few supplies into the trunk, she slammed it shut, sighing a bit.

Walking around to the driver's side, she unlocked it, and then unlocked the rest of the doors, sliding into the car. The outside was a simple silver color, the inside red, although not leather, ironically. Sliding the key into the ignition, she started the car, waiting for the Lillith to get in. Buckling her seatbelt, she turned the radio on, settling on a soft rock station, keeping it low.

Eclipse listened silently to Rikah, nodding occassionally. He sighed deeply, tears rolling down his cheeks at this point, the car still idling. A few late night drives throwing curses at the direction of his car, which still happens to be blocking part of the street. He felt like throwing a few back, yet he retrained himself and continued to listen to Rikah.

"It may be forbidden..but..I'm half human and honestly don't care. Viktor chose us both for a reason..that is why we're here..yet..why you're with me other than the request of Viktor..I do not know. I almost wonder in his wisdom, he's learned to forsee the future and already knows what I'm thinking about and doing.." He said softly, sighing deeply, finally calming down enough to actually start driving again.

"Rikah...Calynn almost makes me feel human again..Most just want to be there to rule the coven if I screw up or be at my side and have something happen so that they take over...It get quite annoying after awhile...because..evetually...we do get tired of each other...sadly...." He said with a melancholy sigh, powershifting the Trans-Am into it's top gear.

"Right now...I'm starting to feel like you're the only one to understand me...in some way, I think you do. Yes..I admit that it's irrational and I could be moving into a trap at this point..but right now...I don't even think her or I have anywhere to turn to, honestly..nor do we know who to honestly trust..." He said softly, sighing again, speeding towards Calynn's house.

Lillith smiled, sliding into the passenger side seat. She looked around at the red coloring of the intirior. Looking at Calynn she smiled.

"Nice choice.. though I presonaly would have gone with black and red."

She gave a slight laugh and pulled the strap that was beside her, seeing that human girl did so, she assumed she was suppose to as well. Lillith buckled it and pulled on the strap, it felt strange.. she was trying not to assume it was some sort of odd confinement. Yet her mind did wander. She leaned back againt the seat after shutting her door, and looked to the human girl once more.

"Shall we go then?"

Her hands folded on her lap, she smiled again. Lillith only knew of a few placed to go. Yet she also was not sure if they were still there. After all, her memory was not the best as of now.. yet slowly she was remembering things. Her intentions had changed three times so far. A part of her wondered if Eclipse would actualy come for her. One thing she didn't believe in.. was love. She new she lost that a long time ago. Yet.. she wanted to see others happy, and in love. Perhaps it was to repent for her sins? Had she any sins? She was sure she must have.. after all, a Succubus doesn't just randomly get put in confinement for a few centuries.

She waited for their drive to begin. All comfy in her seat, it was the first car she had really been in.. other then being in the luxury car that had led her to the Coven in the first place.

The melee had finished quickly, they were neophytes and as such didn't know how to control their powers. Ordanni had barely stained his suit this time in fact, if nothing else could be said in favor of the troops they didn't flail too much and get blood everywhere. That did little more temper the irritation that now rode up inside Ordanni's veins though.

If the lycan's leaders were not going to put enough time and effort into disciplining and protecting their new 'recruits' then slaughter was what was going to occur every time. The leadership of the lycanthropes loose organization seemed to have trouble comprehending this critical point and as such was threatening Ordanni's job security. At this rate the conflict in the city would be over in a matter of years and then the vampires would quickly turn on a lycanthrope bounty hunter.

The only reason that they hadn't attacked him yet was that he had brought down more than twice as many lycans as many of the elder vampires had in their entire existence in a matter of years. The vampires didn't know their enemy's psyche as well as he did, and many that had joined the coven from Europe had trouble adapting to the flow of the city. It was possibly the only think keeping the short-lived lycan plague from burning itself out.

He knelt down next to one of the corpses and pulled out a knife, then busied himself with hacking off the fingers of each lycanthrope corpse and placing them in a bag. Ten hands worth of pay tonight, not a bad haul at all, he thought to himself as he walked back down the street to where his contact was waiting.

A thin, bent man stood on the corner in a trench coat and a top hat, wringing his hands nervously. He cut a comical figure as, in an attempt to blend in, he had his outfit made out of a rather garish paisely pattern in reds and golds, apparently he hadn't been out of the coven's quarters since the seventies and still hadn't recovered his fashion sense.

Ordanni dropped the bag containing the flesh into a garbage can as he passed by and gave the waiting vampire a nod, barely keeping a straight face as he spotted the lime green sunglasses the man was wearing. "The payment's in the usual place Llevon?" Ordanni said as he passed the man.

Llevon whipped his head about, this way and that, making certain no one was within earshot before whispering an answer, "Under the grate, just as usual. We'll meet in the cafe downtown. Oh, and...." He turned looking Ordanni over. "... Try to wear something a little less conspicuous next time, other people might stare."

Ordanni nodded and walked away, a grin quickly consuming any control he had over his face's expression. He quickened his pace, not wanting to laugh where the old vamp could hear him. It wasn't Llevon's fault that he hadn't gotten out enough, it was just that.

He didn't even make it to the next corner before he started laughing.

She had not found Lucion, and was feeling rather irritable, and hungry. Though quite controled of her thrist at times, she felt like just mauling something. With a pair of Desert Eagles at her hips, and her knife in it's sheath on her lower back, she exited from the sewers that held the Lycan hide-out, and began prowling, her completely black eyes going this way and that as she settled into a calm, inconspicuous walk, dressed like she was after she had gotten back into the headquarters.

Running her hand through her loose, black hair, she suddenly saw something that made all her frustration dissapear into amusement. Her tongue flicking out of her mouth a moment, she was able to tell that she was upwind from him, he would not smell her. A rare grin made it's way onto her face as she just calmly walked towards the laughing figure as he came about the corner. She was wearing a jacket that went to her knees to hide the holsters as well as the guns that inhabited them. I just wouldn't do for the police to try and take her in.

Grinning a toothy smile, she practically purred.. "Well, Ordanni, it has been awhile.. has it not?" Nika said, her eyes glinting in the dim light. "Still getting a kick out of killing your own kind I smell?" She did indeed smell the blood of her kin, it drenched him, like a foul odor. But for some reason, she seemed amused by all this. The older lycan wondered how he would react. Her bronze skin made her seem to melt into the shadows, helped along by her dark clothing.

She seemed to recall that he was over half a century younger than her, and wondered if he would know who she was. She never did exactly advertise herself, but word always seemed to get around.

(( Marius Zehan is a lycan yes? ))

She sighed as she watched a vampire cry over a human... She twitched. "Alright! Gro up and realize this pal!" Her voice raised... "Your a vampire. You can -never- become human again. It's survival of the fittest here..." She turned in her seat to face him.

"If you don't suck it up and start acting like one. you will die. I understand the need of emtion. You can have that all you want. But my gosh your a bloody vampire.. a -ruthless- killer! And your crying over a human!!" She growled before she slumped back into her seat...

Viktor would leave to go back to his own coven... And once he arrived and called of a meeting... That out his 'guardians'. They would all meet in a lower room.. with a table for them all to sit at.... and Viktor discussed the plans... it's the head of hte lycan was really on the move, more drasstic measure needed to be taken... especially if the Prnice was going to go on a love ride. He wasn't dependable, and would jsut become despensible if he got in the way.

( I have no idea what I'm doing o.o ))

((Correct Luna, I'm a freelance lycan who's currently in contract with the Knight coven, killing off his own species to stay alive and make a living.))

"Just as much as I enjoy killing everyone else." He said coldly. Debating with a sadistic species loyalist wasn't high on his list of pleasures right now. However, from what he had heard Nika was most certaintly capable enough to pose a threat, and was far more experienced at duels than he was. If there had been others around to use as weapons, or to place between them he would have probably just made a rude gesture and walked away.

As was however....

"The local group of lycans has been getting a bit uppity lately, surely you've noticed. So many new members without a drop of discipline in the lot of them, they deserved death particularly." He said dispassionately, readjusting his white collar and black business suit self consciously. The state of his mind often mirrored his appearence, and anyone who gave him a look, noting the rumpled suit and bloodstained pantleg, would have described him as bedraggled to say the least and that his suit was beyond the point of recovery at this time. However, he still made the token effort, and was met with middling success.

"You would do well to make certain that your 'recruits' don't fall prey to reinforced evolution." A smirk broke across his face, the light from the lamps on the street casting him in a colored film noir profile, his blue-yellow eyes staring straight ahead.

"But, you knew most of what I'd say already. So what brings me to your attention? Surely if my business in killing off the stragglers in the flocks was what brought you here, our business would have been concluded months ago while I slept." He pulled a cigarette out of one of his pockets and lit it, letting the acrid smoke entwine through his nostrils like some perverse filgree design.

"Myess.. they have, havn't they? But our leader does not seem to 'have the time' to appoint leaders for that sort of training." Lucian was more than annoyance to the elder were, he was a thorn in her paw, irresponsible, he had run away, and now he was back, just wanting everything to go his way now.

Nika had refused to become like the others, simpering to his will, biting those as they pleased and causing a boom in the ranks of the lycans.

"But you should know that yourself, shouldn't you? The vampires seem to be quite worried about our kind, funny that you should have gotten into their ranks so easily.. and at such a young age.." She smirked, moving closer, her completely black eyes glimmering in the dim, street-lamps. Her white-winged hair fluttered softly in the wind. Moving her arms upward as if to stretch, she let them drop while she strained them behind her, running her finger-tips along the sheath that held her knife, making sure it was there.

She too had heard alot about this 'man' and knew he was capable of killing his own kind. But the female was also very aware of her own abilities, and she took the straightening of his clothes as a nervous movement of some sort.
She stopped about a meter away from him, standing with one hand on her hip, and resting her weight on her left foot so that she looked fairly relaxed. Though the taught muscles in her arms and legs said otherwise, but those were safely hidden under her clothing.

Lucion watched this silently, this conversation between Nika and Ordanni. He was thinking of a perfect time to intervine. He'd watched Ordanni destroy a small group of his fellow lycans and then Nika showed up.

"Maybe..I should get fully back into the game.." He said in his usual tone as he stepped out of the shadows.

"And I agere with the male...Some of the new 'recruits' do lack discipline..but now..I do intend to fix that however.." He said as he glanced at Nika. "If you want to be leader for awhile...If you think you can run things better...go right ahead. You're more than welcome to it.." He said softly. "I'm supposed to be dead..remember?" He added again in his usual tone. With that, he turned to walk away.
PostPosted: Fri Jul 22, 2005 6:35 pm

As Raziel walked away, Ordanni's hackles stood on end. The man irked him. He couldn't tell why but something in the leader's tone just pinched his nerves. One of his hands slowly shifted, bones flowing and flesh peeling back to reveal a long, jagged point of bone where his forearm used to be. The temptation to strike the fool down was high.

Ordanni slowly cooled his tempter coaxing the flesh to once again take its shape over the impromptu weapon. This was not the time nor the place. The coven had not sent him to cut off the head, just to trim the edges. If he succeeded in taking down Raziel, his secure job position with the coven and his happy little protection deal was cooked. Anyway, there was no guarantee he would succeed and then he'd be dead, lot of good that would do.

He schooled his face into a cocky grin and leaned over to whispered Nika "You want me to add his hands to the collection tonight?" He said, making a joking stabbing motion with the bit of spike that still protruded from the end of his reforming hand. "Cocky b*****d turned his back on me." A rueful chuckle escaped from deep inside his chest, realizing that he hadn't finished with his hand. The lack of sleep was really getting to him these days, needed to take a few off.

He slowly willed the mutilated lump of flesh and bone back into it's original shape and grinned embarassedly. "I ... know a few parlor tricks. Nothing big." He said, lamely as he groped for a suitable explanation. Hearing himself he winced. Really convincing Sherlock.

Tori sat on a small stool, located in the Knight Coven house. She sighed to herself deeply, slowly inhaling air. She looked quite intent on picking at her long nails, inspecting them thoroughly, channeling out the talk around her.

She muttered to herself and ran one hand through her hair, agitated when it fell across her eyes. "Damn! I'll chop it all off!" She hissed throwing it into a tie, quite savagely, not knowing a conversation was going on at the moment. She just glared and went back to inspecting her nails, grumbling to herself, her brow set in a frown.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 23, 2005 8:19 pm

Her eyes following Lucian as he dissapeared into the night, she glanced at Ordanni's arm that was just morphing back to normal before she raised her eyebrows and just said.. "Indeed.." replying to his two last comments..

"We all have our.. trick's.. as you call them.. some of us are just a little more subtle at using them." Nika commented with a smirk on her young-seeming face.

'Laying low hm? It seems that he just blew his cover by coming out to me like this in front of the young hunter... it seems that Ordanni dosn't recognize him though..' These thoughts ran through the elder lycan's head before she returned to the real world, realizing her moment of weakness for what it was. She had totally forgotten about the young were, and he could have killed her easily and quickly had he also saw her brief lapse. Or at least, he did notice, and didn't want to kill her.

But why not? She had been a thorn in the vampire's sides for almost a century now, her death would bring Ordanni great respect from the blood-suckers. Mentaly giving herself a shake, she figured she was digging too deeply into things again, and maybe the boy hadn't realised just how annoying she'd been to those who shunned daylight..

"Care for a drink? My treat.." She asked casually, even though he killed his own kind, the man facinated her, and Nika knew an excellent bar that was open this late for types like herself.

"With you? As long as we can keep away from the higher ups ok? I'd rather not have to play twenty questions with an irate vampire or a lycan with a vengeful streak. They'd be more than a little miffed that one of us wasn't dead yet." He said with a jocular smile. He couldn't figure her out this one. Neither one of them was dead yet and that was a suprise in and of itself. Now she's asking him out for a drink? She didn't seem like the type to use poison to her advantage, too much guesswork involved.

His mind shrugged in befuddlement beneath his placid face. He had fulfilled his quota and if the leaders found out later he could just say he was tired and her perfume had distracted him after a hard battle with five lycans at once. It was believable enough, and after all he couldn't let business run his life forever.

"Where exactly did you have in mind?" He said, becoming aware of the slightly bedraggled state of his clothes with a look of mild embarassment. The thought of running back to his apartment to change out crossed his mind briefly before being swiftly and firmly shoved aside. That would include showing her where he lived and blowing a bit of cover which was the primary reason he had agreed to work with the vamps in the first place. It would also guarantee some questions from the guards. Well, as is it must be then.
