"I never had a true family when i was small it was only me my brother who is no more and my father. We lived in a harsh place where any gathering of unity was quashed and people kept to themselves. But that was not me and thats why i left."
Kyana peered down at the tracks.
"do you know of anyone that would have done this as there is definately 2 sets of tracks perhaps the assailant is still after your sister."

Maki's eyes began to tear up as she struggled to wait for Shinja's answer. She wanted to know what was wrong with her, she wanted to know what has been going on since she left Shadow Island, she wanted to know if she was going to die and she wanted to know about her visions. But the struggle was getting fierce pretty fast the longer she struggled to remain conscious. She wanted to hear from Shinja's own lips that she was not dying.

Kisaragi sniffed the tracks some more to see if he reconised the sent...
"...I have an image of whom I believe to be the person in question but to be honest I need a name...Come, we need to find a town or city..."

"You can picture them?"
Kyana thought for a moment.
It must have been a pleasant life living together providing for yourself. and then one person comes and destroys it all just like the orb. Just as she thought about the orb an image of maki appeared in her head. Shaking her head she said quitely
"Strange I wonder if everythings ok. Ah well we need to find kisaragis sister."
Kyana then continued following the tracks.
"hm not exactly sure what the nearest village is let me think. I think its actually my home town to the south of endairon while lynis is to the east."

On the first floor of the hospital the vines thickened and began working its way up the staircase towards the drop of black blood on the top of the staircase.

As it creapt up and portion of the vines went down one wing til it reached the room beneath the unsuspecting Shinja and Maki and began building its strength. It senses the tainted blood ... it wants and can't wait to absorb the evil within.

Zetsuei extra senses were still recooping after the battle with Tenshin. He wasnt aware of what was going around him unless they were in a small radius to him.
"When is Shinja and Maki going to return, im begining to worry about them"

Kisaragi looked in his pack to check the food levels...
"...Hmm this might be not get us the whole way. It might be a good idea to stop off at your place and get some supplies. Plus I would like to see if your family is as friendly as you..."
"...I notice you are quite hot friend. Here..."
Kisaragi closed his eyes and tilted his head up. Suddenly a gust of wind blew in there direction for a minute...

Maki stared still waiting. A lone tear trickled down her face.
"Please say something ... anything?" she whispered. Before she could hear if Shinja spoke or not vines shot up through the roof and encased her into a giant thick pod and pulled her down to the first floor and deep into the earth.
"AAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! SHINJA!!!!!! ZETSUEI!!!!!!!" she screamed as a thin vine worked its way into her wound and began drawing and feeding on her blood. As it did so another pod began forming outside her own. The vines were quickly draining her of blood.

Hearing the familiar scream of Maki, Zetsuei got up and grabbed his gun and ran down the hall untill he saw dust rising up from the stair case. Looking down the stairs he saw Makis hand become covered in vines as they wrapped around and drug her down into the earth.
"Im coming Maki, dont worry."
jumping over the staircase he plummeted down into the hole in which the vines drug her down into. Aiming his gun carefully he fired a first shot which had divine energy imbuned into it which would expell the darkness of the vines then the second shot was imbuned with fire energy which would incinerate the vines upon contact. He watched as the bullets twirled as they went towards thier mark.

Fira stepped back in shock at first when she saw the vines wrap around Maki then take her down into the earth. Quickly she ran over to the giant hole that the pod of vines left behind and jumped in. Spreading her arms as they began to form into wings as she fell. Ignoring the sharp pain within her wing as she started to catch the air Fira slowed her decent as she looked down at the pod.
With her Phoenix form she opened her beak which began glowing white from the inside. With careful aiming a sudden beam of hot white flames shot out to the side of the vines, to avoid injury Maki, as the white fire went soring past Zetsuei at the pod with his bullets to help burn away the wicked plant.

Grabbing onto a rock he looked back and saw someone he recongnized through his fathers memories.
"Thank you for your assistance Fira"
He said as he luanched himself off the rock to gain extra speed as he continued to fall deeper in the hole following Maki watching as his continued to race towards thier mark and being assisted by Fire White Flames.

The vine casing chipped as the bullet and flames hit, but the casing has already starting to harden again as another set of vines wrapped around the pod and pulling the second one away further into the earth. As Maki laid unconscious inside the pod she slips back into her dreams.
