Wow, this is like my life....I mean no one in band gets laid by other bandmembers, but omg there is like a freaking love shape in it. i mean everyone is linked to someone else by crushes. And the creepy thing is like we're family......our band director is "mommy" its like we all want to date that marrige related cousin that is just practically perfect for us...but iot would be like jerry springer in there. but of course i have to like the one that EVERYONE likes, except the people in band, now, but the sexiness is oooooooooomg...and then the simple ones that only few people like...but and flag chick went out with one of our trumpets...that was an interesting couple of weeks...and then the rest of the band in disneyland, that was like the apocolypse, everyone had their clinger...i rode on mine wow that was sooo bunny....

Yep, groups where you're forced to perpetually mingle with those of a similar interest make kickass places to attach to people, band being no exception. Everybody in band's got their cling, and if band trips are any indication, they've got a lot more than that too. My Dark Wulf, for instance, was a fellow tenor before we hooked up.
By the way, I'm Nilmereth, New Mexico band geek, and I play tenor sax. This is my first post =).

it's interesting for me to see who hooks up with ppl in their section and who doesnt. my concert sax section's kinda interesting. the first two chairs are going out with trumpets, third with a percussionist, i was with another sax player but..... yea, and i dont know about the last chair...... he doesnt talk much but i dont think he's going with anybody. probably half of the saxes that are going out with ppl are with trumpets o__O just an observation!

That's cause they know trumpets kick a**! Most of my friends and I think that the oboes are either lesbians or bisexuals. but we do know they're both lazy bitches.

yeah. all the skanks get laid by desperate ugly brass players. you know it's true.
there are some pretty freakin hot guys in band. actually, there are a LOT of freakin hot guys in band. for every nerd with more pimples on his face than the number on his glasses' perscription there is a guy i'd willingly let have his way with me.
the thing is that our band is so close it's hard to NOT get into extended relationships with them, and the fact that music is obviously common ground helps a lot to get the ball rolling. i also find that while there are multiple people i feel like beating over the head with a 2x4, overall the people in band are more intelligent than people on football teams.
and also better equipped (ifyaknowwhatimeanandithinkyoudo) because they're not all on steriods. mrgreen

Yeah, I would say that being in band creates a definate bond between people.. I've considered going out with a number of other bandos. redface I'm ashamed to admit that my two previous boyfriend have not been musically inclined at all.. crying It'll change next time!

I've considered going out with a number of other bandos. redface I'm ashamed to admit that my two previous boyfriend have not been musically inclined at all.. crying It'll change next time! that's ok! it sounds like u've learned ur lesson! ;P i can only speak for the way things are in my band, but everyone's just nice to each other in general! even if you hate someone in the band (which is actually pretty rare) you can still have a decent conversation with them from time to time. even in gaia. i'm subscribed to a few guilds, and this is by far the nicest one of all of them!
