Arch almost ran into her.
"Ey, sorry fer meh bein' a jackass back thea, ah were jus' a spot grumpy with the gahl showin' uhp'n the laihke." Arch shrugged. "So weah ahr yeh 'eaded?"

Eulalia Danae (bah, I have no patience) Ruby went down stairs, taking the steps slowly, while the little pulled at her hand to run the full length. She sighed, pressing herself faster for the last few steps.
"So're you an angel?" She asked Kikryu. She turned to the left hallway, heading to the kitchen. As she walked in she motioned to the large metal fridge, twice the size of a regular household refridgerator. "I'd make you somethin' but I haven't got the energy for it, an I'm feelin' a faint bit queazy myself. So go on an' help yourself to what's in there, or in the cupboards."
She sat down on a stool by the counter, and sighed as she caught sight of a calendar on the wall, she still had to prepare for that party. One shot and it'd be all fine. She could fix up the party, charm one of the six, get the needed information, and then she could go clean from there, no worries. Ruby closed her eyes, trying to fight a losing battle.
She glanced up at Kikryu, "Could you watch him for a moment," She nodded towards Aaron, "I'll be right back. I don't even know where that blasted Nanny ran off to," she used her perfect, well-rehearsed laugh, and snuck towards the walkway.
Kikryu hopped up onto the counter, sitting Aaron down in her lap and rocking back and forth slowly with him, letting him tug on her hair and being sure to keep her wings out of reach. Now that she was alone she had time to think, and to relax for once since Arch and Ruby had walked in the room and found her. The house was lovely, the finest she'd ever been in, and seen for that matter. Ruby didn't strike her as the type to have such a huge house, it seemed the lady would just waste away with such a huge house and nothing worth any meaning to do.
Shrugging slightly she 'felt' with her own mind out to where Ruby was, making the connection and letting hte womans thoughts flow into her own mind. She didn't dare touch the angel's, but Ruby was too emotionally distracted to even be able to tell, let alone care.

Ruby's mind was a mess of distress and turmoil, with an undercurrent of desperate need. She wanted the drug, she needed it, and she knew where she could get it. At the same time, she couldn't bear the thought of hurting Arch, or Aaron. She was angry at herself for the weakness, she was supposed to be strong.
In her mind she kept promising herself it would be the last time, one more hit, that's all, it couldn't make anything worse. Arch wouldn't know, he wouldn't need to know. Even a small hit, it would be just something to stave off the pain, the hunger, in little steps, like a baby was weened.

Arch layed his hands on Ruby's shoulders softly. "Ruby, ah know what yehr doin'. Ah cannah mahke yeh stahp iht ahl, iht beh sohmethihn yehve ghahta doh yehrsehlf." Arch sighed, his hands falling to his sides. "Ihts yehr choice. Ah un'erstahnd the use oh' weanin."

Arch quickly wrapped her up in his arms, folding his wings about her as he held her close to him.
"Yehl get through this. Yehr stronger'n yeh think. You do this." Arch whispered. He knew it wasn't as good, but he cast Peace, knowing it gave the same feeling of heroin, without the sideeffects. He hoped it was enough to tide her over without hooking her on the magic.
The pale pink aura stretched about most of the mansion, enveloping everyone inside.

Eulalia Danae Ruby nodded heading back towards the kitchen, she turned around and mouthed a soft "thank you" to Arch, before putting on her smile and walking through doorway. Arch pulled a stone out of his pocket, did some crazy magic s**t to it, and dropped it. The rock levitated, floating to Ruby's room and started floating near where the drugs were hidden. Arch then went to them and confiscated them.

Kikryu crooned softly to the young boy in her arms, thinking about what she'd found in Ruby's mind. On the outside you'd never think the woman had the problems she did, such was an actor. She winced slightly, as Aaron tugged on her hair, gently plying his fingers from a strand of her hair. "You've definitely got a good grip, sweetheart.." She muttered softly,

When he couldn't pull the hair anymore, Aaron settled to just chewing on it.
Ruby walked back into the kitchen and gave Kikryu a friendly smile. "Did you get something to eat then? An' if you have, you ready to talk? cause, I'm definatley expectin' some kinda information an' the like."
