(Soooorrrry <3 I have not abaonded you. I just became rather inactive the past few days. I have returned now, though.)
"Wait!" came the hurried reply and an outstretched hand. Never before had Artemis felt so mentally torn with indecision. Why couldn't it just go back to receiving orders and following them through? So much simpler. Clearly he wasn't used to thinking for himself.
"Well, only if you swear to release him, then.. I will join the resisitance," he said defeatedly. He had infiltrated the enemy bases countless times before. At least he would recognize some areas there rather than leaving Opeil altogether. But how would those against the magic users accept him after he had fought against them time and time again?

(( ^_^ well its good to know i have someone here to rp with. I dont want to bury a second rp))
: biggrin romius stoped and turned aroudn with a strange expression on his face. He was not smiling like you might expect him to be. He steped off the porch and walked over to Artemis::
"Very well. You shall join the resistance once you have proven your loyalty to them. Once that has been accomplished, your Orpheus shall be free"::The look on dromius' face was almost angry. The intensity of his stare was almost intimidating::
((funny, i always thought you didnt like me)) EDIT: I took so long. my internet died

( o.O Didn't like you? How did you get that impression?)
Artemis knew a change in loyalties wasn't going to be easy in the least. While he could force his actions into one thing, his mind was still programmed to follow specific orders. "And while I'm doing so, I expect Orpheus to be cared for. This would all end up being rather pointless if he were to die in that cave," the servant said. Though he wasn't practiced in giving orders, he still didn't want to be cheated in his end of the deal.
"How am I to prove myself to this resisitance?" he questioned.

Arius walked the city of Opeil, he wondered to himself why he had been summoned to the High Fane of his order. He had been sent from the Holy City of Sol Adiran to meet with the priests of the city to see how he could help the situation of poverty, but he was nowhere near important enough to have dealings within the High Fane. Despite his apprehension, he dutifully strode towards the huge intricate structure that was the High Fane.

Despite his apprehension, he dutifully strode towards the huge intricate structure that was the High Fane. He sat there right on the steps of the monumental building in the city of Sol Adiran tired and weak from traveling to the main continent back to his Holy continent. Being just a few days away from his home of Hailo Ginslith and decided to stay here for rest. Like he had no choice. Since the incident from the main continent he couldn't got back to that place, but he couldn't go back home with the shame that hung over his head because of that incident. So he just sits there waiting. Waiting for something to happen and with that waiting came the weakness of his heart... To weak to do anything... To keep his head up, and he lays there just... Laying.

Arius began to walk up the steps of the High Fane when he saw a man lying on the steps. He appeared to be staring off at nothing, so Arius approached him. "Excuse me, sir, but do you require some assistance?" he said, wondering why the man was just lying there.

Arius sighed slightly. Why was it that everywhere he went there was someone who needed his help? He kneeled down and placed his hand over the mans heart, using a special technique to determine the man's condition. He seemed to be stable, just unconscious. He lifted the man up and slung him over his shoulder. Sure it was an uncomfortable position.....if you were conscious. He enetered the High fane and brought the man to a sick ward and left him in the care of the healers there before heading to the Chamber of the Faith, where the highest priests meet and discussed whatever it was they discussed. Arius didnt exactly care, but he had been summoned and therefore he had to appear. When he had returned from this summons he headed toward the sick ward to check on the man's condition. He arrived just as he was regaining consciousness.

He sees the familiar man coming up to the bed that he was laying on and he blushed at how handsome the up coming man this was, his savior from the cold. With a slight tiredness in his voice he asked, "Are you the one?" he faltered a bit.

Its good to know you're okay now, you probably would have died out there." Arius felt the man's gaze upon him, but felt it was only a look of curiosity, he couldnt even concieve the possibility that the man thought him handsome. "Are you to warm? Your face seems red, perhaps you still have a fever."

As soon as he turned back he looked at the man and saw that he was a priest and knew that there would be nothing so he calmed down a bit but with a little disappointment. None the less he wanted to say, "Thank you for saving me. I thought I would never get to feel this way again. I've been on my own for so long since that incident and... Just thank you," He smiled and looked up at the noon light on the window dance with the stain glass windows.

"May i ask what incident you speak off? You seemed distressed by it." As much as Arius wanted to leave, he couldnt help but inquire about this man. Something about him made him seem important, but Arius couldnt see how. He pulled up a chair and sat next to the the man's bed. "Oh, excuse me, I'm Arius."

I was just out side and almost a victum to the horrible attack. Spells flying everywhere, blood spattered and so many lives lost. I saw one of them infront of me been sliced in half... I ran... I ran as far as I could," he faded and looked away feeling a bit misty eyed>

He could tell Harmon despised the memory. It certainly wasnt something he wanted to be asked about. "They're planning on releasing you to make room for others, but there's an inn nearby, and i've secured a room for you to stay in for as long as you need it."

I don't mean for you to make an inconvenience of me," he smiled at the light petting of his head. He was some how greatful that this person came to save him. So many people passed him without helping him. He guessed that since he was so near this building they thought that I was already going to get help. Everything was a dream before he got here and he hoped that it would end for a long time, and it did when this man came, "Thank you."
