It's not the herd grounds I'm worried about. It's what lurks on the herd grounds that I want to watch out for, so I can warn the herd. It's alright Sapphire. I should have been doing this all along. I don't want anything to happen to my family. She pretended that she didn't hear the last part of what he said. Nothing can be more important than her, she thought, though not letting that thought show on her face or her body. You should probably go check on Maggie. I'm sure she's worried about you.

Sapphire stood and sighed sadly. He hated the feeling of losing a close friend but she wasn't moving no matter what he did. "Alright. Maybe I'll see you again sometime", he said giving her a small nuzzle. He turned and walked away, once out of sight he took a different direction that led away from both Maggie and Isis. He needed time to himself and time to think, no matter how much he knew it would hurt them, or at least Maggie. Spreading his wings, he took off into the sky and flew off into the distance.
((Well that was fun. Sapphire will reappear once he's an adult 3nodding Isis and Maggie can talk in the meantime or...I don't know, get creative xd ))

Isis sighed sadly, watching him go. And she didn't like the fact that he had flown off. She was hoping that he would have gone back to Maggie. He did love her after all. That caused her to give a deep sigh again, and she turned her attention back to the herd, trying not to think about what just happened. But then she thought back to the stranger on the grounds, and how Maggie didn't know her way around the grounds like Sapphire did. And she went to find the young filly.

Maggie had settled into walking in small circles as she waited, looking around everyonce in a while to try and spot Sapphire and Isis. She blinked when she saw Isis, and yet no Sapphire. She trotted forward to meet up with Isis. "Hello Isis. Um...wheres Sapphire? i thought he went to find you." she asked, glanceing around again.
((hmm...don't think so, Maggie will most likely be to upset about the thought of Isis being hurt to be mad.))

Yes, he did follow me, but he didn't like the fact that I went back to checking on the herd, and left. I don't know where he went off to, but I'm sure he'll be back. She smiled at the filly before her. And I know that you're new here, so I wasn't going to leave you to wonder around and get yourself hurt or lost. So, is there anything you would like to see around here? I'm your tour guide if you wish. I can tell Crimson to watch for a bit, and I can take you wherever you want. Lucky girl Isis thought in the back of her mind. But if Sapphire was going to be happy with her, that was all that mattered. Not to mention, she was closer to his age then she herself was.

"Oh..." Maggie said. "I...i'm sorry..." She wanted to know if she was right, if the older mare before her did infact feel the same feelings she herself did for the blue angel, but she didn't know how to ask, or even if she should. "Um...I know this may be rude but...did...no, do...um...do you love Sapphire too?" She said, looking down.

Isis shook her head. It doesn't matter. He loves you. You should be proud. You caught yourself a fine catch there. He'll treat you right. Sapphire is a good friend. She blew some air out her nose, trying to get rid of a fly that had been tickling her.

Maggie looked up. "you do, don't you....?" she asked, tho really she didn't need an awnser. "I'm sorry, I didn't...." she looked down. "mean to intrude." she said. She turned. "If you'll excuse me, you must be busy, i won't burden you farther." she said before trotting off, back to Racer's land.

Isis went to intercept the younger horse, and stood before her. You are not intruding Maggie. I'm happy for you; for both of you. Sapphire needs a good girl to keep his head on his shoulders. And I would rather us leave on good terms, instead of you leaving with head down. Dissapointed? Yes. But you would feel the same if you had lost Sapphire to me, wouldn't you? I would like us to be friends Maggie. Because, even if I can't have him as a mate, he will be my friend, and will always reamin so. I would like to be your friend too.

Maggie looked at Isis. "I just...I don't want to upset anyone..." Maggie said. "Really...I don't want to make any ememys or have anyone disliek me for whatever reason." She looked away. She really felt bad about it all, and to top i off she had no idea where Sapphire flew off to. She really wished he was here. She felt that if he was here to that things would be better, that no one would be upset...

Maggie nodded. "alright..." she said. She was glad Isis wasn't upset with her. "are...are you sure you don't know where Sapphire went? or why he left?" she asked. Part of her was curious, the other worried.

Isis had to shake her head. No. I really don't know where he went. Why he left though... She flicked her tail at her hip, and took a breath. He was upset with me. That's why he left. Now she had to wait and see what the older filly would do with the information..

Maggie blinked. "Oh..." she said. "I see..." She looked upward, looking at the sky, wondering brifly why he would be upset with Isis, but she didn't ask, not wanting to pry. "well...I really should be going. It was really nice meeting you Isis, i hope to see you again soon..." She said, noddign and smiling at Isis. She continued off to Racer's grounds.
