Shadow pondered for a moment before saying. Show me where to find weapons or better yet body enhancements. He looked around calmly hiding his actual thoughts and feelings. He felt decidedly odd at the moment and knew why.

Shadow nodded and pulled the ruby back from his body. He stepped toward 9 before saying. Do you want to be rid of the rose powers or not? This will be your last chance to live through the experience. I can destroy your body totally, every cell and remake it. However once your soul is returned it will be impossible to do so. Your soul will be permenantly bound to your body and when it dies so will your soul.

Shadow laughed shaking his head. I'm sorry I forgot that you aren't used to this. Once I've taken a soul the only way I can return it without it being drawn back to me eventually is to anchor it as you say. In all honesty it's impossible to do this any other way. Now make your decision and then we'll proceed.

9 growled as she took Johhnys hand
"We are going to the lab.. I'm sure we can find another way there... don't you think Shadow?"

Very well 9 lead on and we will see if we can combine our knowledge and whatever is in the lab to find an alternate method. He said as he stepped back and put 9's soul back away.

9 turned and started walking down the hall. Small run lights came on as the ship tracked there movements. 9 stayed close to Johhny the whole time.
Strange cries came rolling down the hall from behind them then from infront. It almost sounded like something was being killed but nothing could be seem. Soon the cries stopped and was followed by the sound of braking bones and the sounds of claws scratching on metal.

Shadow smiled as he took a deep breath. He suddenly felt more comfortable and followed with a serious expression on his face. He looked around taking in the sights as he moved.

He walked along 9's side, wondering what this place was. With a shaking of his head he decided not to worry about it, besides he was still wondering what was between shadow and 9. He didn't see why she wouldn't just let him kill shadow, well maybe after she gets her sould back. A grin came to johhny's lips as he thought about it.

9 stopped at a cross section in the hall and stopped she looked down each hall before turning right. After she took a few steps a hole in the floor ripped open a she fell through with a scream.
Two large cockroach like things slowly claimed up and one stayed below with 9. They where brown in color with a hard shell. 2 of there 6 arms hand pinchers and they hand scorpion tails.

Johhny glared, jumping up over the c**k roach that had climbed up to them, he'd let shadow deal with that. He used the air around him to push him up and over the c**k roach's reach, before flipping in the air. Pulling out the blade from his wooden holder he moved it towards the ground and fell onto the c**k roach near nine, sliding the blade deep into the back of its neck.

Shadow responded immediately as 9 began to fall. He held out his hand as vines sprouted from his glove following 9 incredibly fast. They would try to wrap around her torso and stop her fall before slowly retracting as Shadow braced his feet to take her weight. He eyed the roaches slowly before reaching out with his earth sense to see how 'natural' they were. He may be able to handle them if they were simply enhanced versions of the normal.

As Johhny cut into the roach its tail whipped around, tying to stick him in the side. Its poison was dripping from its tail. It bled a think black stuff like oil. 2 egg sacks rested behind the roach with a dozen babies. Running about.
Shadow sensed that this things where only half natural. There were mechanical parts running throughout the bugs.
One buy moved to snip the vines with its pinchers as the other moved to hit shadow with the poisoned filled stinger.

Johhny's eyes narrowed as he focused the air around him, making it burst out from him towards the tail coming towards him, cutting it in two different places. Grabbing his sword, he grunted as his muscles tensed and he pulled it half way through its neck and out before flipping off it and landing about ten feet away, facing the roach if it isn't dead from what he just did.
