Seth stood there just staring at where Kaname once was. He had no idea how long he stood there but soon enough everything came rushing back to him. It was then that he realized that both Zero and Vanessa were hurt. He looked at both but knew that Zero would never accept his help, plus Vanessa was the one bleeding. He ran over to her praying in his head that she was alright.
"Vanessa, please tell me that you will be alright. I can't believe what just happened here, why would Kaname suddenly do that. Look you're bleeding, here let me get something to wipe that. You will be okay right?"
Seth quickly got the towel that he brought with him and put it on Vanessa's arm. He then embraced her tightly, hoping that she wouldn't notice that he was still shaking a bit.
"You scared the life out of me, I am just glad that you are okay. Thank you for doing that, but please don't scare me like that again. I don't want to see you getting hurt like that again."

Vanessa just watched Seth dash about, as little drops of blood littered the sand. Finally when he had wrapped a towel around her arm and pulled her close she was a little surprised." Oh..I'm alright..After all I'm standing, right?" It did sting a little, and she didn't think she was going to die..
Zero on the other hand rose his head from the ground, looking dizzily in the distance. He saw Seth and Vanessa, but was too weak to do much about it. He pulled himself into a sitting position before standing. "Where did that damn Kaname go?" He muttered to himself..He then remembered seeing shadows when he opened his eyes earlier. So Vanessa used her father's gaurds huh?

Seth let go of Vanessa after a while and then saw Zero standing up. he seemed a bit dazed but looked to be okay. He waited to see what Zero would do, but right now Seth was not going to be moved.
"So I am still wondering what got into Kaname, he normally is not like that. You didn't kill him or anything, I don't think so, what you did was meant to trap him wasn't it?"

Vanessa smiled and shook her head lightly. "I got my father to take him back.." she muttered out quietly. It was obvious she didn't seem to be too happy with what happened.."I belive it was vampire instincts..Poor Kaname has gone so long without blood its finally beginning to affect him.."
Zero merely stood there staring at the two of them, and didn't bother to move..

Seth nodded understanding that those instincts must really be hard to control though he probably would never know.
"So you think he will be okay? Especially with your father? Well anyways maybe we should go and check on Zero, he was definitely hit harder than you."
Seth knew that Vanessa would want to make sure that Zero was okay, he was just surprised that he was the one that mentioned it first.

Vanessa nodded her head and ran over to Zero, making him sit down in the sand. "Zero sit down...Its not good for you to try and walk.." I'm surprised that Kaname hit him pretty hard..
Zero did as she instructed, and sat down as Vanessa held him up. "Damn Kaname...At least I have more control than he does.." He muttered to himself with a small wince. It seemed he had maybe bruised a few ribs. Vanessa shook her head thinking about something Kaname had said..It looked like..he had said half breed to Zero..Vanessa didn't know this and thought about asking him.."Zero..About before..Why did Kaname call you a half breed?" It seemed as if Vanessa had hit a string as he frowned and shot her a stern look. "Shut up...Its nothing..Just Kaname running his mouth.." Vanessa felt a little hurt, but stayed quiet..Her old expression was on her face again..A sign that her feelings were extremely hurt..

Seth caught up to Vanessa and Zero but when he got there he heard them talking about what Kaname had said, and then Zero had a bit of an out burst. Seth sighed, it was probably a blow to his pride to allow Vanessa to even think that Zero was not a full vampire, but he should really get over it, she would find out eventually.
"So Zero are you alright? He hit you pretty hard both times, though I must say the speed at which you fought back was impressive. I wouldn't expect anything less from a vampire. Anyways it does look like you got hurt, here let me ice that for you."
Seth made sure to use vampire when talking to Zero to make the guy feel better. He had just been called a half breed that definitely would upset some one like him. While thinking about that he walked over to Zero making sure not to look suspicious and put his hand near where he saw him get punched. He then let loose some of his ice powers so that Zero's pain would be lessoned. He hoped that would cool the guy down enough to apologize to Vanessa for yelling at her.

Zero kept an irritated look on his face, his light purple eyes peircing straight through Seth. He still didn't like the guy, after all he had a reason. He shouldn't be forced to like a guy who stole his first love away from him, right? Zero just stayed still and let Seth do what he wanted. Afterwards it did feel a little better, but he wasn't the kind of person to apolagize directly, so he gave his own little hint. "Whatever.." He said in a stuborn tone..
Vanessa sat and watched, hating the friction their eyes seemed to be creating. She had no idea why Zero could hate Seth that much..She knew Zero liked her, but to go to this extent? It puzzled her deeply.

Seth felt that being nice to the guy was almost pointless but he did not know any other way to get through to him. He knew that his injuries would feel better now so he probably should have something to drink.
"You know you must have swallowed some sand while fighting Kaname and such want some water to wash your mouth out? And you can be a bit more appreciative I mean come on now here I am helping you and not a single thanks? I don't even really know why you hate me so much anyways I have yet to be anything but nice to you. Ah whatever just trying to act macho I'm guessing."
Seth went over to his pack and threw a bottle of water at Zero, he didn't expect a thanks from the guy but he still kept smiling as if he had gotten one. He didn't hate Zero, quite the opposite really, he had a sort of respect for him and his power, but since he acted so coldly to him he would never know that. He then went over to check Vanessa's arm to make sure it really was okay.
"Feeling better now? He didn't get you that deeply I'm guessing, that's a relief."
Realizing he was acting like a nurse he laughed a bit, before looking back at the others and still smiling.
"Oh, sorry just thinking how it seems that right now I am acting like a nurse or one of those silly white mage healer types in the video games, funny right?"

Meghan turned to him, smiling. "Anytime, silly. We're friends after all, right? What kind of friend would I be if I didn't support you, ya'know?" In truth, she'd never really had friends before, so she wanted to do what she could to make him happy. It was the exact same thing she'd do for Sai when they were together, and she had supported him many times in the past just as he'd done to her; they helped each other and stayed strong that way.
"Just promise me you won't keep too many secrets, okay? I mean, if somethings troubling you... if you don't want to tell me personal things, after all, I won't force you to tell me," she finished, turning back to the sand after a few moments of silence, to continue drawing random things.

Zero took the water and drank it quietly. Not saying a word just staring at Seth hard. "s**t.." He muttered to the mocho comment. He then smirked with a small smirk. "I don't hate you...Just don't like you thats all.." He said with a playful smile..This was kind of odd..."Yeah..Thanks..I guess.." He said avoiding his gaze..It was a little hard for him to apolagize..Though he did help him.
Vanessa laughed letting him check out her arm. Though Zero shook his head and grabbed Vanessa's wrist pulling her to him. "I got this.." He said sternly as he kissed Vanessa's arm lightly. Vanessa herself was a little confused not knowing what he was doing..Zero lifted up, some blood around his mouth. "Why do you look surprised V?" She tilted her head speaking quietly. "Why did you do that?" Zero responded with a look that would make even a genius feel stupid. "Its an old vampire trick..Its said a vampire's kiss has physical and spiritual healing abilities.." Vanessa raised a brown and blushed lightly. Zero then lifted up and kissed her lightly on the head. "Someday you'll understand.." He mumbled looking at Seth as if to say 'Your going to be the one to tell her about her past..I think its time she knew...'
Lawliet nodded his head trying to conceal the blush that had appeared on his face. "Friends.." he muttered to himself..He finally had someone he would trust himself to...Someone he knew would care about him as much as he did for them. It was a good feeling...
Lawliet was a little surprised to hear the secret question..I guess it made him feel like she thought he was up to something..Then that pang of guilt came..Sora's words all over again..Warning him not to tell her anything..Though he really didn't have anything personal besides that at the moment.., and he definately wasn't going to tell her about Sora. Even if she got made at him later, he would keep the secret because he just wanted her to be there..

Meghan looked over at Lawliet, seeing him a little stuck in thought. She leaned over, blinking a few times as she looked into his face, leaning which ever way she needed in order to do so. "Uh-oh, does Lawliet have a... secret. One of those secrets?" she questioned, smiling at him before pulling herself away before he could possibly strangle her. She let her hands rest gently on the sand at her sides, still smiling at him; she was only joking, so she hoped he knew that. In anycase, she hoped he wouldn't get too worked up if he didn't know, or if he was embarrassed in anyway.

Seth looked at Zero, was the guy serious? Did he finally come to his senses and decide to let Vanessa know everything, well he sure wasn't going to pass down that chance.
"Well if you say so Zero, though I am surprised, both you and Kaname practically told me that bad things would happen if I talked but whatever. Okay Vanessa where should I start, well the beginning seems to be the best idea. Okay well um, how to say this... from what Zero and Kaname told me, everything your father has taught you was a lie. To start with, your mother was human, and so were you. They did something to you apparently that made you a full vampire. The next thing that you should know, the tradition of killing off the next queen, it is a lie to stop you from asking questions about your mother, who by the way was locked up in a tower from what I was told. There is a lot more but I feel that Zero should explain some of the things I don't understand myself, plus I think you want to hear some of this stuff from him, and not second hand from me."
Seth knew that what he had told Vanessa was a lot to take in and he was worried about how she would handle it. He looked to Zero signalling for him to start telling her the stuff the he himself was still having trouble understanding

Lawliet's blush deepened as he tried to hide his face. It was making him awfully nervous..He just shook his head unable to say anything at the moment..."Uh..um...no..I just.." There was a long pause in between each of his words, as he struggled for something to say. "Just..thinking.."
Zero was a little surprised to see him bring it all out at once...He didn't expect it that soon and he laughed dispite how sad it was supposed to be. he then apolagized once he saw Vanessa stare blankly at Seth. As if he was speaking some foreign language she couldn't understand. Vanessa stayed completely quiet..Not a sound, and it looked as if she was about to cry her eyes out..Finally her personality seemed to change as she stood up fast. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!!" Then the tears fell...It was an odd reaction..And a look of shock and terror was displayed all over her face. She was now thinking to herself..Me? Human? How? Then it dawne don her..why Zero was so protective of her, and put that with past things he had said..It all came together.."Zero...I'm sorry .." She said crying even harder..
Zero put on a guilty face..."Vanessa.." He sighed.."Just don't feel too bad.." The air seemed to becomming thicker, maybe Vanessa losing control again? Then a faint black and purple aura could be seen rising up from the ground and her eyes glowed purple. Zero shot a look towards Seth and raced behind Vanessa putting his arm around her neck..As if trying to choke her. She gasped..as he held her tight, "CALM DOWN!" Vanessa finally went limp as Zero losened his grip..She was still concious just a little weak. "God..What a pain..A little over done at one time Seth.." Though it seemed it was going to be alright..It was all over in a flash after all...

Seth looked as Vanessa let all her emotions out at once. He thought he might have said too much, but when he thought about it he probably did the right thing.
"Zero of course I told her everything I could, why waste time beating around the bush, you guys kept it hidden from her for so long, she deserved to know everything. Plus it is easier to do it quickly, like ripping of a bandage."
Seth didn't know if he should go to Vanessa, but he just couldn't stand there like an idiot. In the end he decided to go to her, and make sure she really was going to be alright. He went up to her and looked her in the eyes, she was still conscious so that was good.
"Vanessa...sorry that you had to hear it all like this. And I am really sorry that I didn't say something sooner, it was stupid of me to keep it quiet. Are you going to be okay, or do you think that you just want some time alone, we can go back if you want, you could take everything in back at your dorm room."
