Is this some kind of contest?
Cause in some RPG's, Mythril is so magical it can absorb spells, so doin it in a mith mine wouldn't work. Plus, if you ask where they do it, and they say mith mines, it sounds like meth mines, which could cause problems.

Except Mythril didn't have magic absorbtion properties in FFVII and FFVII didn't have meth

You said things can be moved from other games to "keep the flow of words going" and yes FF7 might have meth, cause I looked up Ether in a dictionary, and it is a white powder that can be used as a narcotic.

Ether and meth = tottaly not the same

And you never know. All this time you could have been drugging Vivi! (assuming you played FF9) Of course, it would also explain why yuffie is short. She steals materia....she must use it often....magic=ether, ether=drug....
