Unlike Hiei, the kitsune kept his face throughly neutral. He had no intent on eating, and would have already done so if he planned to. And really, why would he trust someone that said they were going to force them to eat? At least Kasai gave them a choice.
"I have to agree with my partner," Kurama said, standing up. His tone was fairly pleasant, but it did seem slightly forced.

Night sighed. Why are men always so difficult? With another sigh she slumped her shoulders, pouted and walked off dejectedly, then turned and started cooking. "I'll just make breakfast for Carlos and I"
In a matter of minutes there were eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, fruits, and much more that I will not list, 'cause I'd be here forever. After making sure that she had much more than nessecary, and tasting everything, she set some of everything on the table in front of the two, took the rest, put it on a cart and walked down the hall.
Over her shoulder, she called, "When was the last time you two ate? And it isn't poisoned; if it had been, I wouldn't have taste tested everything."
She hummed some odd tunes and knoked on a door. "¡Carlos! ¡Conseguir tu desayuno, tú terrón perezoso de la carne del perro!" She called lovingly.
(What Night said translates to: Carlos! Get your breakfast, you lazy lump of dog flesh! I used google, 'cause I don't speak spanish. Can we Pu-leez have Carlos, just once? He'll have no effect on the plot whatsoever.)

Hiei made a face at the food. Had she not heard a word they said? Now the food was wasted. Oh, well. Her own fault, and not their problem. Pushing the plates away, he hated that it smelled so good. He was randomly reminded of a time Kuwabara woke up gnawing on his pillow because he hadn't eaten dinner. Hiei imagined himself waking up, gnawing on Kurama's head.

The food did smell good... a lot better than the food the night before had. Though, that probably had something to do with the fact that he hadn't touched a bit of food recently. Anything would probably seem eatable.
Kurama paid some attention to the words she screamed at the werewolf. They were in Spanish, he guessed, and that language was based of of Latin, which he had vague knowledge of, so he managed to pull the basic meaning. So basic, in fact, that the only thing he knew was that it wasn't a threat to Hiei and himself.
The plate in front of him joined the Koorime's at the center of the table. Having it so close was horribly tempting.
((Yes, let your werewolf join for a bit. I don't mind, as long as you can keep it from interfering with my plot.))

"Let's go," Hiei said, tugging the fox's sleeve shortly. He would rather get lost in this hellhole than have to bite back the urge to stuff a pancake down his throat. The syrup wasn't helping either. It was something sweet, and sweet somethings were always good.
He continued out the door, knowing Kurama would follow.

As Hiei thought, the fox did follow, almost out of habbit. Aside from that fact he was highly fond of his company, it would be unwise to be alone with that girl. While Night seemed nice, to a point, he now couldn't bring himself to trust her any more than Kasai. If she was old, she would have wisdom, and no doubt be able to hide any motives she may have.
Kurama killed any thought that came to his mind, thinking it through entirely. Anything to keep his mind off of food. He assumed that the fire demon wasn't in the mood to talk, as was usual. Especially after being forced into the dining room by a seemingly weak child-like female.

Hiei walked briskly. Though when he arrived at the room they'd slept in, he didn't go inside. Still thinking they should explore a little more, he walked past. He would stop at a door, open it and look inside, then close the door. Open, look, close. Obviously he wasn't finding anything interesting. He decided to let Kurama look now.

When Hiei did let him look, he, of course, did so. There wasn't anything better to do... not anything that would necessarily be at all safe. The room was like most of the others, nicely decorated, but seemed dull in a way. Not much heart had been put into it, like Kasai's own room. It seemed as if she did the rooms because she thought she had to.
Remembering his former comment on the rose, he decided to make a similar one. An onyx dragon caught his eye. It was like his dragon, in a way, but not a copy. "I believe she has your taste down, as well." He glanced at the ornament.

Hiei was at the wall, and came over when Kurama made the comment. His taste? He looked in the room and was confused, until he spotted the object. He found it interesting that there was something to represent both himself and the fox.
A rose and a dragon.
With a soft 'hn', the koorime turned around and continued slowly down the hall. He suddenly spoke.
"Listen, psychic," he said clearly, looking up and sounding less than pleased. "If you are indeed our hostess, you're not doing a very good job. If you're going to trap someone in your home you can at least give them things to do."

"Why, have I not already? I led you to my room, I attempted to feed you, and I let you two talk. What more do you want?"
She had come from the floor, this time. The house seemed to mold around her in such a way that it seemed her and the house were connected, and not that it was necessarily her power. Her powers were limited, since she was a very young psychic, relatively. In the things she trained in, she was good at. Illusions, basic telekinesis, reading the purity of auras. She could not read minds, unless she was meant to. Hiei had gotten her attention that way.
"I suppose I could allow you... to go back outside? I will, of course, then have to set up a barrier. Can't let you get away, now can we?" The female's voice wasn't unpleasant, and had no trace of alternate motives. She really hadn't thought of them wanting to do things, she had figured that they'd spend time either trying to get away, or just sitting around talking.

Hiei was actually a bit thrown off by her response. The only sign of that was a falter in his eyes, though he regained with a glare directed at Kasai. So it wasn't just their stupid curiosity that lead them to her dark chambers. And she let them talk? What were they, slaves?
His full attention was sparked at the idea of being let outside. Some of the spark died when she mentioned the barrier. Hiei knew better. But the though of being outside sounded slightly better than being inside. There he could probably enjoy a nice sit in a tree, and perhaps Kurama could go play in a garden. Maybe they could enjoy a spar. The fresh air would certainly be nice.
Hiei said nothing more, but let Kasai become aware of his liking the idea with a flash of his eyes.

"Good, then. I've interested you," Kasai said, fairly sure she had translated his body language correctly. How did that silly kitsune do it so well?
"But do tell me one thing... what do you think I have planned? I know you've guessed, but really, tell me."
With a flick of her fingers, she took down the barriers on the house and expanded them to the outer grounds. Surely they could find their way out by themselves. Kasai wasn't baby-sitting.

Interesting, indeed. Kurama knew they would enjoy the outdoors much better, for very obvious reasons. The fire demon loved to sleep in trees, and the fox... well, does the reason even need to be said?
The red-head couldn't help but be slightly suspicious, though. But those suspicions were standard to anyone he wasn't close to.
The question Kasai asked, he assumed, was directed at Hiei. She hadn't addressed himself, or even paid him a glance. Perhaps she was more interested in him, rather than the kitsune? An involuntary growl sounded in his throat, but already he made it seem as if he was clearing his throat, having become bored.

Hiei merely offered his customary weighted stare. Her asking what he thought was going on was just rubbing in the fact that he and the fox were like toys to her. As made clear before, Hiei did not appreciate that. So he would ignore her.
The sound from Kurama's throat made him give a quick glance, but he was not worried as it sounded like he was clearing his throat. Having been able to feel the barrier switch, he took the direction he assumed would lead him down and out, though he waited for the fox after some steps.

Kurama was pulled away from his thoughts when the fire demon stopped to wait for him. He didn't need anything more than that to tell him to hurry up. Before, he had caught the glance, but his own eyes didn't betray any emotion, and it seemed his little cover up had worked.
