The most hated instrument in our band would have to be... Piccolo. No doubt about it. I know it 'cause I'm the one playing it. 3nodding My poor little piccolo is always suffering assasination attempts. And it gets molested a whole lot, too. Poor thing. That's why it's evil in the first place, ya know.

Trumpets without a doubt. Most of our trumpet players are incredibly egotistical and don't play well. People get annoyed at the pit that we don't march, but they don't hate us. wink
|

I hate the sound of a fulte. It's way too shrill and they play way too loud most of the time. I also hate most of the people in that group except for a few. O I also hate the fact that they always get melody when they can't play it correctly half the time evil

clarinet is the most disliked in my band. mainly because the second row doesnt play, they always take the trumpets music cause sometimes they cant play their part, and because they always play really really HIGH to be heard, and everyone hates it stressed

Oboes!
I've never met a high school oboeist who could actually make it sound good. We had one who graduated a few years ago and his voice was just as annoying as is instrument... hence my dislike for oboes.

I'm shocked that so many people hate oboes. In my school, the oboes are the most loved instrument. The most hated would probably piccolo. I really have no say in this, cause I love all instruments

i really am not to fond of the oboe...though i have never heard one played well, and also the flutes in our band are never in tune...and it makes my eyes water when they try to tune. crying

Trombones, well for today at least, the band got rearranged, and now they sit behind me. I wasnt paying attention and i got hit in the head with a slide, but I have nothing against trombones, other than the fact they can be painful, I acctually like the sound.
On a normal day it would be the bassoon, only because the only bassoon player in our school is the biggest a** in the school too.

I can't stand oboes...wait I take that back...if the instrument is played by someone who can acctually play it, then i like it...but if they suck it's the most annoying sound ever.
