i'm gonna go with Murtagh. besides the fact that his true life version ( garett hedlund) is beautiful beyond belief....i like the bad boy, the rebel...his hard ships and struggles make him sad, depressive, even a little dirty..and well i'm here to stand up and say i will gladly clean him off and he'll leave with a smile on his face....*jumps* yay for bad boys smile

Murtagh would be my main fav, I was a fan of Garrett Hedlund before I saw the film so he got me into loving him so much more, he’s just so mysterious and really cute, I always look forward to finding out more about him…hehe. Next I would have to go with Durza, Robert Carlyle has always been one of my idols, he is such a stunning actor to watch, the way he played Durza was mind blowing, fitted really well with the character in the book. And of course I have to add Saphira in there, I can’t see how anyone could not love her, she is so sweet.

I would say Murtagh because he is very mysterious, misunderstood, and no offence to anyone who likes Eragon and Arya, but he could kick their a**** anyday. Plus, he is like ten million times cooler and smarter than Eragon ( no offence ). Plus, he's hot.

...my favourite character is Angela. I love her mysticism and her personality, in general.
Totally not bumping this thread up the food chain. Of course not. That's illegal.

Mine's Murtagh. He's the one who suffers the most, and I can relate to being an outcast. I always end up liking the ones I feel sympathy for. He's a rallying point for the outcasts of the world.

I have to disagree on the suffering part. I think that Brom's the one who's had to go through the most difficult situations and events. Even though he's dead. Just needed to point out that Murtagh's not the one who's suffered the most.
I'm not saying he hasn't been through anything; I mean the poor thing's stuck in a contract that has little to no loopholes. But a lot of other characters have gone through worse. And my dad agrees; Arya and Brom are two of the people who've been through the most. And even Eragon's uncle whose name escapes me for some reason.
