Santos grinned and watched all his pride members for a moment, almost teasing them, making them cling to life on curiousity. "What... If I told you there were to be.. more royals?" he asked slowly, choosing his words carefully with a smirk.

Aquos looked over to Mikhail and then to Sienna at Santos's remark. He panted lightly before sitting up fully. He tilted his head and spoke softly. "Sir...Pardon my intrustion but what are you inquirering with that statement?" Being younge and naivie, he just had to ask as he pawed lightly at his fish...Hungrly.

Karounos raised his brows - Yukio had left... but there were going to be other cubs around now... Well, not that Yukio was a cub anymore... but he was still Karounos's little boy...
Nomis laughed quietly at Sienna as their mother gave her a bath. She had heard the announcement, but didn't quite understand... and shared Aquos' question.

Sienna's ears perked up, partially when she finally smelled the fish that Aquos was pawing at, and partially at her king's statement. "Whadya mean, more royals? Another kings coming to take over?" She scratched her cheek in curiosity as she lay on her back looking up at Santos.
Naida chuckled, "Perhaps when Santos is older and decides he'd rather give the pride to one of his children...the ones born and unborn yet." She wondered if the others would get her hint as she looked up at Karounos and nuzzled him under his chin. The fact that Adia was pregnant was obvious now to her, not just in Santos's hint, but the way his mate glowed. Having been there through her Queen's first pregnancy, she saw the signs once more, even if they weren't all that obvious to the others. "Congratulations," She said, bowing her head to the royal family, before nuzzling her water daughter, before once more resuming Sienna's bath.

Santos knew there was probably mixed feelings for Naida and Karounos on this matter, being that their only son was away from the pride for the time being, and he too felt some heartachefrom the missing pink fuzzball of fun, but he hoped the two would be able to lighten up alittle. He smiled atthecubs and shook his head. "No one is coming to take my place. You're queen is to have more babies," he purred happily, nuzzling his three adult children.
Arsenic's expression turned to pure shock, then a grin formed over his muzzle. New siblings to watch and play with. New little one to teach how to be observant. This would be an entertaining time.
Nimbus shared similar feelings to Arsenic. He whooped loudly. New siblings to love and be pounced by! More "Come play with us Bubba!" or "Bubba can you take us swimming?". How dearly he missed that when Asenic and Daveigh grew up.

Aquos's face still remained puzzled. He still didn't know where these new royals where...Or where babies come from for that matter. He desiced to follow Naida's lead. "Errmm..Congradulations..." The was a questioning tone to his voice. He sleepily blinked a couple of times before he looked at his fish. Placing one paw on the head and sliding the other under the gills and ripping the side from the fish. He placed one half in front of Mikhail and trotted over to Sienna, giving her the other half. This was normal, as Aquos always feed his friends before he'd eat something. He trotted back over to Mikhail and, with a flop, laid beside him.

Karounos returned the nuzzle to his mate, and smiled at his king and queen, "Yeah, congrats! I'm glad ta' hear the news!" he said, bowing. Their family was growing, as well as the pride, and almost nothing could have made him happier.
Nomis nuzzled her mothers chin, before snuggling into her father's paws, "Congratulations," she said, finally catching on. Now... could she go to sleep?
((Haha, I completely abondoned Karounos's dialect for the longest time. Just remembered he had one. xd ))

Babies! Younger cublings who would be cute and need protection. He looked up at Santos and Adia and felt a twinge os sadness at his own abandonment. He wasn't going to spoil the moment for them, though. A smile was flashed. "That's great! Congratumilations." His tail curled up around his paws. When the fish was handed over he gave Aquos a more genuine smile, watching him give the other half to Sienna and come back before laying down. "Thanks Aquos, you're awesome." With his best friend beside him he felt a bit better, knowing he wasn't completely alone. With that happy thought he gnawed away at the fish before him.

Aquos simply smiled at his friend as he ate. "Hey, I did tell you I'd look out for you...Or did I just think that.." he pounder over this. "I can't recall anymore but anyways your my best friend, along with Sienna. I'll always be looking out for you, and Sienna."

Sienna blushed (which was hard to see with her deep red fur), and once her bath was complete, was unable to stop herself from gnawing on the fish any longer. The idea of new cubs was cool, and she was glad Santos wasn't going to be replaced, since he was fun to hang around with. Picking up her piece of fish, she trotted over to lay down on Aquos's other side, the inseperable trio complete.
The sight of the three of them together made Naida smile, despite it bringing back memories of how inseperable Yukio and Daveigh had been not so long before. She hoped the three of them would always be that way, and that none of them would have to go through what her son had so soon in life. She held no anger towards Daveigh at all, after all she was old enough to find a mate of her own and the outcome seemed to have been inevitable. Rolling over, she pawed at Karounos's face lightly and purred, "Think we could add a few more cubs to the mix eventually?"

Nomis looked up at her parents, and stalked away, glancing to her sister and the two males from the corner of her eye as she passed. Sleep didn't sound as inviting now, and she considered returning to her oasis, but thought better of it - she had been gone awhile. The water cub trotted into the den, curling up near the entrance, letting a ray of sunlight bathe her while she closed her eyes, hoping to sleep at least some...
Karounos purred, nuzzling Naida, "I don' see why not..." He glanced to Sienna and the two boys, then to Nomis, who had curled up near the entrance of the cave. His mind idley wandered to the question about Nomis's socialiality... she hadn't seen her talk to many other pride members, even to him and Naida. In fact, he had hardly seen her recently.

Aquos smiled as Sienna came over to lay beside him. When Mikhail and Sienna where near him, Aquos was at his happiest. Aquos viewed Mikhail as a brother to him, even though they weren't related by blood. He might not know what Mikhail has gone through, but he does know that whenever Mikhail smiles it's a big deal. Sienna was..Different...He didn't really understand what he felt for her nor did we want to. He was happy and that's all he need to understand. He rested his head on his paws as a couple of beads of water dripped off of his flakes, still wet from his swim earlier that morning.

Adia sat silent watching the members of the pride take the news from Santos. Their reactions brought a smile to her face and her feelings of excitement were mixed with feelings of anxiety. Something was to be different this time around with her pregnancy but she could not place her paw on it and it sent smallish waves of worry.
Daveigh was silent as night and she just stared at her parents. Cubs?! More brothers?! Or even a sister?! Oh to have someone besides mother to be girlish with in the family. Daveigh's mind swam with ideas as she thought of all the things she could teach her new siblings to be.

Santos nuzzled Adia and tried to lead her back into the cave to rest. No one seemed to have a problem with the idea of more cubs running around, and that put a loving smile on his face. Even if their were some hard times within the pride, it didn't effect pure good news.
Arsenic watched Nomis lay down at the pride entrance and followed her. It concerned him sometimes about how much quieter she was than himself. He layed down next to her and tilted his head slightly. "What's wrong little one?"

Nomis lifted her head as Arsenic sat down beside her. Wrong? She considered his question, glancing to the trio picking at the fish. She returne dher gaze to Arsenic, sitting up now, "There is nothing wrong," she said wrapping her tail around her paws and cocking her head up at him, "Why would you say that...?"
Was something wrong? She wasn't sure. Could she be jealous of her sister and her friends, perhaps? No - that couldn't be it. She had her oasis, and all of the animals there were her friends - that's what she had always believed.
