Velris's eyes widen and he mutters to himself. "I've heard of people walking out of bars drunk, but walking IN drunk? That's new to me, and I've lived for a century and a half..."

Quote:
I set down my mug, looking astonished "By the gods, what kind of half rate treasure hunter would go after riches and leave such an extrodinary treasure like yourself behind?"
"Apparently, my old, dead group would. They wanted me to help them because they were using me to defeat monsters so they would get gold. Of course, they shared with me, which was good, but they weren't really my friends. They started to think that I was a bother and I overheard them talking about killing me. When I went out when they were sleeping to ask for help. The way that they died was cruel, but I asked my friend to spare Raven... they all had different coloured tents. He was the only one that didn't want to kill me. I figured I owed it to him, but the next morning I guess he woke up earlier than I did because he had disappeared... Ironic, how I stopped them from killing me by killing them in return."

My face turns serious, and I look at Nerezza. "Many a time have I encountered those who wished to do me harm. I have not done much adventuring with others, spent most of my time on my own. But, it does help to find comfort in another's embrace, if even just for a night." As the newcommer enters, I turn, seeing her...umm..."performance" "Well...usually people don't do that until they've been in a bar for awhile."

The three Fate brothers who had their backs to the wall and was facing the doo watched as the newcomer barfed all over the floor. biggrin "Oh my!" biggrin Dimitri gets up signalling Brendon to follow with, "Wait here bro I'll go get her, I'm sure you can help her one way or another."

stare "What's gonna happen if someone ask you a question? I mean we are in a middle of a game!" stare Thinking it over a bit turn heads toward the door, "Don't worry, if she is light enough for me to carry or it's my turn, then I'll send Brendon back over. He can answer any questions I can anyways." Plus he and I share a telepathic bond. With that he and Brendon heads towards the entrance. Along the way he questions why Kyte got seats so far from the doorway. Upon reaching the barfing figure Dimitri gently pat them on the back sweatdrop . Shouting through the din, " stare HEY TAPS! DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE FLOOR, I'LL CLEAN IT UP. BUT WOULD YOU MIND TOSSING ME SOMETHING TO CATCH THE BARF WITH? I'M GONNA TRY GETTING HER SOME TREATMENT." This time turning to the crowd he had to wade through to get here, " 4laugh IF ANYONE WANTS TA BE BARFED ON, FEEL FREE TO NOT MOVE! domokun "

Taps tosses a large bucket straight at Dimitri. "Here ya go!"
PostPosted: Fri Jul 21, 2006 12:36 am

Snatching the bucket out of the air Dimitri immediately holds it over their mouth. The whole time with a look of concern in his eyes. stare Hey, just so you know, if the person you're helping at the moment turns out to be your enemy that's been poison, here's what you could do. Walk 'em past our table head, at which point I'll have your friends as well as Faust distracted, lead 'em into a dark room. Here's where the path divides, if it's a guy kill, desacrate, and loot the body. If it a female, do the aforementioned list but throw in rape somewhere along the way. stare

Umm, no domokun !

stare Hmm, good point. Try and make them your friend. stare

Really?

stare Yeah! 'Cuz if you did all that to them and they survive and get better. Then you're screwed. It's like the old saying goes: 'Better make a weak man your enemy than your friend.' So in accordence to that saying, try and find out how strong they are and whether or not they'll get better. stare

Jerk!

twisted You know, Ziggy has a point. twisted

Why am I not surprised rolleyes ?

twisted No, I agree that you should make this person into your friend. twisted

Ya know, I would like to have more friends biggrin 3nodding .

twisted That, and your brother did remind me of an old saying. And it is this: 'Love your enemies just in case your friends turn out to be a bunch of bastards.' twisted

That's it! ignoring the both of you! domokun Deciding to focus more on the condition of the barfing newcoming than any more 'old sayings' Dimitri tries to gently to guide them to his table, turning around and looking at the pool of puke. With a simple nod of his head the barf disappears and the floor cleaner than it ever had been. Speaking to the figure gently as if talking to a infant, "Please, you seem as if you need medical attention. When you are ready please follow me this way, my brother can help you sweatdrop ."

"Ok, then. What 'others' might you be talking about?" she said, looking at Ziggy, hesitating with the knowledge that she might know at least a little of what he meant.
stare "Hmm, I didn't know you were the eldest, thought your cousin was. Anyways, I can't answer that question mainly because you have to be a bit more specific about when I said 'others'. If I remember correctly, I said the word 'others' about five times in my last little lecture and about twice now. Seeing you being new to this game, I'll let you retry. This time please a bit more specific. In your question, who's talking, and who you're addressing." stare

Kyte was starting to get slightly irritated.

"I'm talking, and I'm addressing you." she said, looking at Ziggy, trying to ignore the scene by the door.

"And I meant when you mentioned the 'others outside of family'."
PostPosted: Fri Jul 21, 2006 6:48 am

Looking back by the door and smirking a bit after thinking about the telepathinc message he sent to Dimitri. Ziggy looks back at the elf addressing him, stare "Well, to put it quite simple, I ment outside of what you know about each other in your little family and outside of what we know in our little family, we don't know squat about any of the three of you guys and I highly doubt you know anything about the two of us. Maybe you have a general inkling about Dimitri, and that's it. I believe it's Faust's turn." stare

biggrin "I guess I'll ask Miss. Riven. You said that you decide to become a rogue because there are more job offers, but when you first came to this table it seems as if you enjoy stealing more for pleasure then survival. My question is this: what events lead up to you becoming the profession your in now?" biggrin

"Well, when my cousins left town, I had nothing. Then I met a thief. He was *honest and agreed to train me, and it seemed like a good job. It still does, and I wouldn't give up this **fun gig for anything. I stopped training with him after a year or so and taught myself everything else I know, mostly by trial-and-error."

And that's when my carreer as a Rogue started......
Don't sound so teary. I thought you liked being one.
Oh, be quiet.

OOC:

*if u can believe that xd
**again, if u can believe that(it takes more skill than many care to realize to be a thief)

"Funny, how that can be so true. The friend who killed them asked if I would stay with him for a while... and I did. But I told him a while later that I wanted to be on the road again. Luckily, he understood, and I was on my way again... and ended up here."
I look at the newcomer myself and pop an eyebrow.
"... Been a while since THAT happened."

Seeing that the mess is being taken care of, I turn back to my new friend. "Aye, I've been on the road for awhile, it's been some time since I found comfort with another. No, I had to make some good distance between where I had been and myself. I didn't have much time for that."

"Well, I don't know how much we have in common, but any time you would like to hear my story, I can tell you. And if you tire of the crowds here, then I can find some place for me to stay tonight, and we could meet tomorrow, unless you have some other place we could talk."

"Tell me your story. I'm intrigued. Plus I'm a people person. Besides, the cabin address I gave was my cabin that I'm renting... so you can stay with me if you like, or we could go there and talk if you wish."

I move my mug aside, getting ready to tell you my story. "If at any time you decide you'd be more comfortable in the cabin, let me know and we can move. I will begin my story now, and while I am going to stop my drinking while I tell it, feel free to continue your own. First off, as I stated earlier, I was born a slave. I don't know if you've ever heard of the Asabi, but my mother was a slave of the Asabi, under the Desert of Anauroch. Once I was old enough, I too became a slave. And I stayed such, for a long time, until one day, the slaves decided to uprise. I was not with them, but I saw this as my opportunity, and fled to the nearest city. As you can imagine, that's not an easy task in a desert when you're an escaped slave. However, I was very lucky. Have you ever heard of the city in Anauroch by the name of "Shade" "
