Powwow: An event held by Native American Tribe(s) where people of Native American (Indian) descent come together and celebrate for just about any reason they can find. Powwow activities/events include, but are not limited to:
Festive Music/Dancing; Festive food (Buffalo burger is soooo good X3); Vending/Trading of Native American Artifacts/ Artwork/ Clothing/ Animal Goods (Leather, Fur, Bones); And a warm, fuzzy feeling that you get from being around people like yourself, and some that are in your tribe.
Pretty much it's like a big Native Amereican get-together, kinda like a family reunion with vendors. The one I just got back from was at a wolf preserve, so they had some activities to do with the wolves, too, and all of the money raised, aside from the vendors, was donated to the wolves to make a better habitat for them, and feed them for a few months. ^^;
Any questions? <.< >.>
Bwahahaha...This was a fun Powwow. I hug around with some vendor friends of mine, got great steal on a longbow and an arrowhead that's probably worth at least $150. But my favorite part was that I got to play flute with
Billy Whitefox himself...Gawd he can play...
