((The orders are on parchment because its stronger than paper, it doesnt warp as easily in water and damp conditions. At least I dont think it does.))

Over the course of the break in the march Ral didnt rest a wink. Instead he played the Ambush over and over in his head, trying to find out why the Haut fought, instead of running like they usually did.

"GAH! I just cant figure this out!"

He stood up and picked up his halberd and walked away from the fire to the border of the camp.

"Maybe Im just too warm, I cant think straight."
"Sir, you are fatigued..."

An Orligonian female had walked up behind him and placed her clawed hands on his shoulder spike, running her hand down it as if to test the sharpness of a blade.

"No Im fine... I just dont understand why they fought instead of running. Maybe they have a new supreme commander. Go back to your post Im going for a walk, if anything happens send a messenger."
"Yes sir..."

With that she walked back to her post as a guard along the path. Ral walked slowly into the swamp and dove in swimming at high speeds to the place of their last battle. He came up to a bloated corpse floating face down.

"The poisons have acted quickly. I know he has his orders somewhere here..."

He searched through the Hauts clothing slicing flesh and cloth while he did so. He grabbed a peice of parchment out of the Hauts back pocket. He read through the order.

"Recon group... Scout out outer rim of swamp... Others will reinforce if need be... Order placed by high command... Fight your best, no surrender or retreat. In the name of our new mistress. Ok so their old leader has perished."

He placed the parchement in his mouth to keep it safe. He swam back to the camp, resurfaced and removed the orders from his mouth. He ran up to his unit commander and handed him the orders.

"I was wondering where you were at. We will move in two hours."

He opened the orders and read them.

"Great, they have a new leader. And reinforcements on the way. Just what we need."

He jumped onto a makeshift box holding the armor and supplies.

"Break camp now! Be ready for an attack!"

The unit grabbed their stuff and left all non-necesities and continued back to the village.

"Ral... Take your ambush party and cover our rear, we dont want to be drawn into battle that we didnt choose."
"Yes sir. AMBUSH PARTY, HALT!"

All of the comabatants in his party halted their movement.

"Fall back to the camp and take up positions in the water."

They filed into the swamp as quickly as posible without giving away their positions and swam back to the outskirts of the camp. The marksmen again took their positions in the trees and all waited as Ral cast cameleon to conseal them.

After her massage, Megami sent all of her servants away and she went and sat at her Vanity Table, fixing her hair into all sorts of styles enjoying herself immensely. Suddenly she heard a knock at her door "It's not locked, come on it whoever you are" She contiinued to play with her hair

Ryan, what's wrong with you?

*dodges all the slashes* ryan, what's your problem? *backflips onto a tree trunk*

Ryan, what's wrong, ever since you got that jewel of ages, you've been acting...evil...Ryan, i don't wanna fight you, but if i have to... i will! *pulls out his sword and protects himself*

*stares coldly at Cyrus* (strange voice)go away! this is between brothers! *blasts Cyrus, and proceeds to chase Jeremiah*

ryan, you're definently not yourself! you gotta fight whatever's controlling you *almost gets blasted by a fire cannon* whoa! Ryan, you ever considered that i'm your only family! *jumps to another tree*
