It's no Sakura or Sasuke, but I love it anyway. heart Please, Kishimoto.. let it be a female..
My "female Akatsuki = Akatsuki Leader" theory seems to have been shot down within a week, but there's a chance she could still kick some a** and be awesome.
But, my GOD. Thanks to one chapter, I've gone from an Akatsuki fan-girl to.. hardly even a fan.
Maybe if Kishimoto would show Deidara, Tobi, Itachi, or Blue-Hair, I'd like them again, but as it stands? They're boring me.
AL: "We need money... and... bijuus.... and then we need to be recruited by countries... and profit with war while defeating other ninja forces... then... the world is ours..."
I hate money whores.
Itachi! He can't possibly be in Akatsuki for something lame like world domination! He has to have another reason, and if he doesn't.. I will be highly disappointed in Kishimoto. I'm kind of getting there already..
.. I bet the next time Sakura shows up, she'll be all happy and giddy with Naruto. :l Expect a rant in my journal if that happens.

Just read it over at Saiyan Island... Poor Kishi-sama. He must be confused. Taking over the world is so old-school... Then again... Old-school is nice. XD I wonder what Naruto found out.

Conquering the world is just so.. so over-used.
Though, really.. what else would you expect from a group of villains capturing demons and storing them within themselves?
Eh.. I just really hope this doesn't mean Kishimoto's going to be sticking to cliche crap from now on.. NaruSaku!?

it is actually cliche with world domination. he could have used a more creative idea than that. but oh well guesse he has something going on. i agree with you Kairi.nin about why is itachi with them for world domination. seems kinda stupid though. hope kishimoto does something good that at least excite us or shock us that will make us fans happy and proud. lets hope it happens soon*crosses fingers*

LOL. I laughed when I read that.
Now seriously. I really enjoyed the beginning of the chapter. The "look right while looking left" thing really made me smile a bit. And seeing Naruto turning into Kyuubi.. that acutally made me quite sad.
But I was a bit dissappointed with the rest of the chapter. World domination isn't exactly the best plot. It's acutally quite lame. Especially if it's the goal of the oh so notorious and mysterious Akatsuki. It kinda ruins their image for me too. Knowing that Kishimoto knows how the series will end, hopefully there's something more to it and he has something really great planned.
Currently the 'Akatsuki capturing Naruto and other Bijuus' plot is boring me. I WANT SASUKE NOW. D: Two years have passed. That's like.. only half a year left until Orochimaru plans to take over his body. I do want 'Save Sasuke' plot to continue... but I want to see Team 8. I want to know where the heck Hinata, Kiba, and Shino is. And Kurenai's reaction to Asuma's death. I don't want Kishimoto to ignore them even if the manga is titled "Naruto". =/

Also, it's the first time that I've seen the AL talk so much. I guess the female leader isn't possible, but I'm excited to see the female anyway. Hope she's pretty at the very least.
And I think I figured what Naruto figured out -
Whitey: I think that he's going to use a bunshin to do manipulation of chakra, and himself to do Rasengan. That'll take 3 bunshin in all... but it's a theory that needs the kinks worked out.
Whadaya think?

But anyways...
Poor Konohamaru. D: First his grandfather, then his uncle...It's like every funeral deals with one close to him.
And poor Kurenai. I know she and Asuma weren't major characters, but those two panels of her reaction were horrible. ;-; As in sad. T.T It wasn't like I really paid attention to AsuKure...but the fact that it's really the first and only canon couple at this time, and the fact that the pairing is noe shot because of death, then...
I'm hoping Kishimoto doesn't make a chain reaction with that. o.o
And *sigh* I KNEW this was going to happen...Shikamaru, WHY?! Smoking leads to cancer, and what if you give your team second hand smoke?!?!?! *goes off on rant* You should know better, Shikamaruuuuu. T.T
*sighs yet again* I need Team SEVEN action. D: I want Naruto, Sai, Sakura, and Kakashi. Not Team 10! Sure, I do love Team 10, and I'm always curious as to what Ino and the team's new strengths are, but the main characters aren't InoShikaCho. D:

330: i was so sad when it showed kurenai crying over asuma. the funeral scene was a real downer on me. i feel terrible for konohamaru. i already kinda tell that asuma was his uncle though... also for kurenai of course. i wonder what asuma wanted to tell kurenai about when he was going to die hmm....
well of course shikamaru has to smoke after asuma died. shika...do you know you can die from smoking?! and i thought you were one of the smart characters in the searies...hmph.
anyway i wonder whats gonna happen with narutos training. also i hope its gonna show more team 7 in the next chapters now. my friends are telling me everytime that its gonna show all of the teams and something is gonna happen to them. im not sure if its gonna happen now but maybe later on it might show the other teams a bit more.

Firstly - I feel sad about how Kurenai reacted. It made me want to cry too. It's always hardest on the people closest to the dead. Then there was Konohamaru's reaction too.
On a side note - Naruto looked pretty hot in that funeral garb. But that's just my irrational self talking.
I can't believe I actually figured out how Naruto was going to do the chakra manipulation! It's the first time I got to predict right how techniques would go. And that weird comment from Kakashi was hilarious.
Anyway, about Shika's new habit, I'm kind of partly depressed he's killing himself slowly, but kinda awed since he looks pretty cool like that. And I'm impressed he's trying to learn how Asuma fought. It's really cool.
I still feel for Kurenai, though...
