rofl You have to wait in LINE for DDR? Town of 15,000, total of about 500 DDR players, most of them are broke. rofl
As long as you go before 8pm, there's hardly anyone there. But if you go after 10pm, you can get a big crowd, and if you're any good, a shitload of instant fans. cool

My school gym has two DDR platforms. But the good one broke. Now we have to play on the one that you have to be über fat for, or else it doesn't sense you. ;___;

I have two metal pads. One of them has a shitty left arrow and somewhat nonresponsive down and right arrows though.

It works fantastically.

That's the closest thing to "professional grade" you can get unless you buy a Cobalt Flux or an actual official arcade set. But CF and AC are the only pads you'll ever see in any real tournies.

"Durable Stainless Steel" -- This is some tough aluminum. "Value Pack" -- This is cheap s**t. "Arcade Style" -- It's a whole inch thick and has a place to put a tin bar that's been painted red and wobbles. "For PS, PS2, PSone, and USB" -- if you buy some extra s**t, you can plug this into your compy and play Stepmania. "Extra sensitive buttons" -- If you hit the fancy looking sensor on the bottom with the cheap aluminum foil on the top, it might do something. "Guaranteed non-DOA" -- It'll come in a beat up box and probably work. "We don't refund shipping" -- Otherwise, we wouldn't have made the item $3 and the shipping $70. "48-hour shipping" -- Check your doorstep in a week. "Professional Grade" -- Not professional grade. "Performance quality" -- We stole these off an arcade machine. "Buttons light up when you step on them" -- but they don't because we cut the proper cords before shipping. "New in the box" -- We refurbished this s**t and pulled a box out of the dumpster to put it in. Now you know how to buy dance pads: save up $300 and buy a CF.

Shrocomemos Tree~Beatle~Maiden ENJOY LE PICTURES, MES AMIS! biggrin -insert pictures here- Gaah, you screwed up that sentence. gonk Les, and amies. I may have screwed up the "les" in front of pictures, but "amis" IS spelled correctly. "Amies" would be correct if I were talking to only girls, but as it's a mixed crowd, you used the masculine plural. Trust me, I'm taking French IV AP next year and I have a pound of summer AP homework. rolleyes

If you're good enough, you need the best or it won't last you more than 10 songs. rolleyes Sure, I can AAA songs on a soft pad. But the pad can't. Sure, I can AA BRE VK DOWN while on a pad that's moving at 10 mph. But that doesn't mean the pad will survive the ordeal. My soft pad can't even hold up on 8th-note runs. My shittier metal one randomly decides not to work. My better one had a cracked panel on delivery, so I had to replace it. I can function with the inadequate, but I can thrive with the best. @ TBM: HOLY ******** you* *rapes Edward Scissorhands* You look more like a Tim Burton character than a Veggie Tales character.
