"You...you...you...b*****d....I can't believe you'd be such a coward as to let a woman fight for you." Xilocent lowers his guard. "I cannot hurt her....and you know that, and are exploiting it. Well, watch this." Xilocent's body becomes ethereal, and he begins to float toward Talitha. He begins to enter her body, taking the place of her soul, storing hers deep inside herself. Her mind becomes his. "How do you like me now, Chris?"

He just smiled. "So now I am not the only one in her mind. As you can most likely see, she knows how to wield a sword just fine." Christopher replied calmly. "And of course I would exploit something like that, especially if it ensures my victory."

He shrugged. "As to what she has done, I do not know. I have not been briefed on that. As for her being a demon, I also do not know nor do I care. My orders were to bring her back to headquarters."
"Get out...." A small voice said that only Xilocent and Christopher could hear in their minds. "Get out now..." Said the same small voice, though bolder.
"What's this?.. Talitha... come now... do not disobey!" Christopher said firmly.
"Get out!" Was all the small voice said to him.

"Alright, now we're getting somewhere!" Xilocent Comes out of talitha's body. "Now Chris, let's settle this the old fashion way. What would you say..to a duel?" Xilocent Dismisses his Fire katana, and brandishes his Ice katana in front of him.

Christopher shook his head in amusement. "Not many people would be able to break my spell, though you did help her." He stood and took off his cloak and draped it over the chair he was just sitting on. Turning to face Xilocent, his energy sword out, the same one Talitha had held just moments before. "Very wel--" He was caught off by the door slamming open and soldiers running in. "Commander! Urgent knews, you are needed back at HQ immediately!" Said the soldier as he saluted his commanding officer. "Perfect!.." His sword vanished as he grabbed hold of his cloak once more. "I will be back, I guarantee that!" He said as he ran out the door.
The second Christopher left Talitha crumpled into a pile on the floor, his hold on her broken now. "........................"

Xilocent ran over as talitha crumpled to the floor. "Talitha! Talitha! Are you alright? Speak to me!" He picked her up, and held her in his arms.

Talitha looked up at him, exhausted. "I'm sorry... I caused more problems didn't I?" She said as she fell asleep before she could hear the answer.

Xilocent Whispers to her sleeping form. "Shhh...it's alright. It'll be alright. Sleep, I'll be here. I'm here now...." Xilocent held her close as she slept, never wanting to let her go, making sure nothing will happen.

Blue walked in and the second she saw Xilocent and Talitha shrank back into the shadows unseen.

Talitha opened her eyes and looked up at Xilocent. "I really am sorry you know... I don't know why they think I am a demon, but I'm not. You do believe me don't you?" She said in a small, tired voice.

Xilocent looked down at the little, tired woman he held in his arms. "Of course I believe you. There is no doubt in my heart that you are just you. The Sergeant has mistaken you for someone else, I'm damn sure. And no matter what, I'll protect you." He pulled her closer to him. "You should probably go get some sleep, you look tired."

"I'll be fine. I only stayed up to make sure you slept soundly and undisturbed. I don't need to sleep for awhile yet, don't worry about me." Xilocent said. "The next time he comes in, I swear I'm gonna hurt him."
